Paul is trying to argue, when he responds to this stupid hypothetical question; "Since I'm forgiven because of grace, can I just sin every now and then?" He says, "well I guess you could, but don't you realize that when you do that you are setting yourself up to become a slave of whatever it is that you commit yourself to? And since you've been freed from since and become a slave of righteousness, why don't you present yourself to righteousness. Why don't you offer yourself fully, unconditionally to Jesus Christ?
