Such large crowds gathered round him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: ‘A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop–a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Whoever has ears, let them hear.'
Deep needed dive on having faith of a mustard seed. My personal observations through my own experiences and conversations with others. In part one I lay the foundation that led me to unlocking my spiritual gifts which I am still exploring and seeking truth and answers too. Discussing how I have been led to believe most churches are lukewarm or bound in a religious spirit that is tearing believers and non-believer alike apart.
As this world gets darker by the minute, the Christian is to stand out as a light in a dark world! What does that look like? We get a good picture of what should be seen in the life of the believer in Romans chapter twelve. Today pastor John Randall highlights several Christian virtues that should mark our lives. In Christianity today there is a lot of confusion and disagreement when it comes to the signifying gifts (miracles, healing, and tongues). How are we to understand tongues and the sign gifts? In this message, Pastor Jeff Schreve shares three key observations regarding these unique spiritual gifts.

In a world that often feels divided, the power of gifts—both tangible and intangible—can bridge gaps and foster connection. Inspired by Acts 16:15, where Lydia opens her home to Paul and his companions, we are reminded of the beauty of hospitality and generosity. Lydia's invitation wasn't just about offering a place to stay; it was an act of faith and community that transformed her life and the lives of those around her. And we stayed there several days. On the Sabbath we went outside the city gate to the river, where we expected to find a place of prayer. We sat down and began to speak to the women who had gathered there. One of those listening was a woman from the city of Thyatira named Lydia, a dealer in purple cloth. She was a worshipper of God. The Lord opened her heart to respond to Paul's message. When she and the members of her household were baptised, she invited us to her home. ‘If you consider me a believer in the Lord,' she said, ‘come and stay at my house.' And she persuaded us.
The lists of spiritual gifts in Scripture are not exhaustive but exemplary. There are also no set categories in Scripture. This week, we look at those that might be considered "ministry gifts" and those that might be regarded as "manifestation gifts."

In this first part series Daniel talks about the 3 types of gifts. The gifts of the Father, Son and Spirit. The Bible teaches us that our gifts are not for us but for those around us. The best part is these gifts are accessible to each and every one of us. It's not a matter of earning them, they are simply given freely out of the Lords love for us!
