Mike sits down with legendary music manager, Shep Gordon, at his home in Maui. Shep shares stories with Mike about cooking for the Dalai Lama, his dynamic outlook on death, the art of managing superstar artists, and how he learned to be comfortable in his own skin.  Shep Gordon is an illustrated music manager who has managed the likes of Alice Cooper, Blondie, Luther Vandross, Rick James, and countless others. He has produced and financed several films such as Ridley Scott’s first film The Duellists, which went on to win the Cannes Film Festival when Shep was only 30 years old. Today, Shep keeps an open-door policy at his Maui home, allowing for celebrities to escape their sometimes stressful lives and careers on the mainland to relax, rejuvenate, and eat.

Mike has the privilege of speaking with African American Studies and Duke professor, Dr. Mark Anthony Neal. They speak on race in America, music in America, white guilt and advice he has for 18 to 30 year-olds looking for their purpose in life. Mike also recalls the experiences he had with Dr. Neal when he took his Hip Hop 101 course when he was a student at Duke.

Mike Posner and Alex Banayan share a passionate conversation about the deaths of their fathers with Hospice Chaplain, Kevin Deegan.  Alex Banayan is a Forbes ‘30 under 30’ member and at the age of 19 became the youngest venture capitalist ever.  He is accompanied by Chaplain Kevin Deegan, a hospice chaplain who was assigned to take care of Alex's father at the hospice leading up to his passing.
