Today, May 19th, Joey Ramone would have celebrated his 70th birthday. When The Ramones released Mondo Bizzaro, their 12th studio album in 1992, Joey sat down with Bob Waugh for an extensive interview that was distributed to radio stations nationwide. Bob’s friendship with Joey Ramones began in New York in the 1980’s, when Joey Ramone called Bob at WLIR-FM at 3 AM to request a song.
