The Fur-Bearers are a long-time advocacy group based out of Vancouver, British Columbia. Established in 1953, their mission is “To protect fur-bearing animals in the wild and in confinement through conservation, advocacy, research and education (C.A.R.E).” The Fur-Bearers also have a podcast called Defender Radio, hosted by Michael Howie, outside of Toronto, Ontario.
