We're back with another look at Moorcockian music, this time in the company of Don Falcone, captain of the starship Spirits Burning, long time collaborative portal for progressive and space rock projects involving luminaries from across the rock field, most recently Michael Moorcock himself with their last two albums being musical adaptations of the Dancers at the End of Time trilogy. We talk Moorcock (obviously) and Don's influences and history as a musician and producer, as well as a few other bits n' bobs as we go. The Journal of Gerard Arthur Connelly continues with Chapter 10 and an unusual encounter (score and atmos again by @nand_soundtrax).

“The Roadmap In Your Head” is the 13th studio album from the Spirits Burning space rock collective, and the second to feature keyboardist Cyrille “Clearlight” Verdeaux. The album has a strong Gong presence, as it includes performances by four musicians from Gong’s Radio Gnome Invisible Trilogy (Daevid Allen, Steve Hillage, Mike Howlett, Didier Malherbe), and four members of the current Gong (Ian East, Fabio Golfetti, Dave Sturt, Kavus Torabi). Clearlight is a project of French songwriter and composer Cyrille Verdeaux that blends classical romanticism and prog-rock experimentation. The first Clearlight album was released under the name “Clearlight Symphony,” in 1974, by British major label Virgin Records. The most recent release was 2015’s “Impressionist Symphony.”

Welcome back everyone! After 3-months off-air Gotham is back on Channel 5, which means we're back too...and it feels good to be podcasting again about Gotham after so long! This weeks episode of Gotham Rogues Gallery, released as a back-to-back feature episode on Channel 5 with Episode 12 of Gotham ("What the Little Bird told Him"), was written by Sue Chung and directed by Oz Scott. Jim Gordon begins life as a prison guard at Arkham Asylum after his very public demotion by the Mayor, but trouble never seems too far away as bodies with troubling scars either side of their forehead begin to show up within Arkham. Jim calls in his former partner Harvey Bullock to help investigate the murders, which appear to have been experimented on using electro-therapy. A mass breakout from Arkham orchestrated by the culprit, an inmate by the name of Jack Gruber, sees him escape along with his most promising experiment to date. In the meantime, Fish begins to contemplate her most audacious move against the Don Falcone just as questions are raised over the loyalty of her right-hand man - Butch Gilzean. Despite everything going on in the Arkham and Gotham a new romance develops as a spark ignites between the now single Jim Gordon and the Arkham's physician, Doctor Leslie Thompkins. News Thanks to Detectives Fisher and Butcher for sharing a big spoiler about a major character leaving Gotham at the end of Season one. Click the story here if you dare. But we also can also reveal the introduction of Chris Chalk (12 Years a Slave), who has been cast in the role of Lucius Fox in the world of Gotham and Wayne Enterprises, as he takes up the iconic role made famous by Morgan Freeman in Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy. Bruce returns to school, where he has some trouble with the students, including Tommy Elliot, who made fun of his parents' death and asks Alfred to teach him how to defend himself. Gordon and Bullock investigate Richard Sionis (Todd Stashwick) who is hosting an illegal and deadly fight club where the victims are those who applied for Sionis Investments. When Gordon is caught at the site of the fight club, Bullock asks GCPD for help finding Gordon. After "The Mask" and those involved are arrested, Gordon is informed that Selina was apprehended after robbing a dress store.
