يتغلب كيس ومولي على التدخلات القانونية السيبرانية ومحاولة خيانة من ريفيرا لدمج وينترميوت مع نيورومانسر، وينتهي الأمر بكيس يعيش في عالم جديد شجاعأفلام:· Escape from New York (1981)[40][41]· Burst City (1982)[42]· Tron (1982)[43]· Blade Runner (1982)[44]· Brainstorm (1983)[45]· Videodrome (1983)[46]· Repo Man (1984)· The Terminator (1984)· Brazil (1985)· RoboCop (1987)[47]· The Running Man (1987)· Gunhed (1989)[48]· Tetsuo: The Iron Man (1989)· Circuitry Man (1990)[49]· RoboCop 2 (1990)· Hardware (a.k.a. Hey Horror Fans Welcome back to Coffee Chat of Horrors. Today we're going to be taking a deep dive into the 2007 Horror Movie 30 Days of Night. So, grab a cup of coffee and a brain, and settle in for the undead ride of your life. Based on the graphic novel by Steve Niles and Ben Templesmith, 30 Days of Night is a terrifying story about a small Alaskan town that experiences a month-long period of darkness. During this time, a group of bloodthirsty vampires descend upon the town, feeding on the unsuspecting residents. Directed by David Slade, who is known for his work on other horror films such as Hard Candy which is a great film a little hard to watch in some aspects and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse You have no idea how hard it was to say that without laughing because Vampires do not sparkle and WTF. I still have no idea why people would watch sparkly vampires but to each their own and NO i have not seen the films at all. Slade's directing style in 30 Days of Night creates a chilling atmosphere that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Stalk Me: Twitter Youtube Instagram Tiktok Facebook Twitch

It's our Halloween related review!! A week away from his wedding, Blake Fowler, delivers this horror movie to the podcast. A comic that is considered by many, the book that revived the horror comic genre. Vampires attacking a small town in northern Alaska during a month without sunlight is a premise so simple that you might ask why no one thought of it sooner. How well does this stylized and dark comic from Steve Niles and teenage artist Ben Templesmith translate to film? And how exactly do Laramy and Blake feel about Josh Hartnett? Jace chats with creator Chris Ryall about the return of a property Chris created with artist Ben Templesmith back in 2009, Groom Lake. A humorous, dark & weirdly relevant story about UFO's, conspiracies and aliens. Chris talks about why this was the right time to bring this back. He also discusses bringing on artist Nelson Daniel, with Templesmith being unavailable, Nelson unique blend of humor & darkness were a natural fit. There are tons of tiers with a great variety of rewards including original art, glow-in-the-dark pins, the original Groom Lake graphic novel and so much more.

Interview with Dwight L Macpherson, creator of The surreal adventures of Edgar Allen Poo, now known as The imaginary voyages of Edgar Allen Poe! Dwight joined DD back in the old days, well over a decade ago. Back then he hosted his comic with us, about Edgar Allen Poe. From the very beginning I could see that both it and its author were destined for bigger and better things and I'm pleased to say that came to pass. Through a lot of hard work, with the efforts and both him and his wife working as a team, Dwight has found success as an independent published author with a number of projects under his belt and more ongoing ones in the pipeline. I still remember the surreal moment years ago with I saw his Poe book in a bookshop here in Australia in my isolated city of Perth. I had this weird moment where I was taken out of reality and didn't know know where I'd seen it before and then worlds came crashing together! From all the way back in 2006 when I first saw it online on DD to years later when it's there in book form right in front of me, not in the USA somewhere or Europe where most DD stuff lives, but right in front of me at my little suburban bookshop in Perth Western Australia, in the most isolated capital city on the planet. It still seems like a false memory. And now Dwight is back with us on DD and happy to chat and tell us all how he got where he is today, happy to share the secrets of his success. Dwight's story: It all started in Korea, stationed there as a sergeant, researching pirates for a story which became the comic Dead Men tell no Tails. It was eventually published in Arcana comics with Ben Templesmith as the cover artist (a fellow Perth peson who I've met). A TV producer in California was looking for works to option and picked up Dwight's book. It didn't go anywhere but Rebecca and dwight eventually met, married and became a powerhouse team working on Hocus Pocus Comics togther (HP comics). Dwight is a huge advocate for independant creators and alternative publishing modes, one of those of course being webcomics! This week Gunwallace has given us the theme to Miss Sisyphus - Slow, faded monochrome ennui, colour bleeds in gradually, like a stain on paper, filing with life, danger, adventure, futuristic exploration, like a dull and dusty bud, blossoming into a gorgeous flower, full of colour and heady scent. New York Comic Con came and went! Jimmy and Producer Joe attended and boy did we cover a lot. Jimmy got 11 interviews which you'll hear this week and next. And one of our top correspondents, Keka, covered the Y: THE LAST MAN press room for us. Really great being back at a con and quite a few tearful reunions were had. At times, too crowded but overall enjoyable and fun. Besides seeing old friends, Jimmy & Joe met some great new creators and others. Listen to our recap and let us know your thoughts if you attended. In this episode, Jimmy interviewed Leeanne Krecic (LET'S PLAY), the original SQUID GAME Ben Templesmith & Rocketship Entertainment founder Tom Akel. Some big NYCC news which includes: Vaughan & Staples bring back SAGA, Kurt Busiek's ASTRO CITY returns, Kiernan Shipka will appear on RIVERDALE and more! Thanks to Producer Joe for all the editing magic in these episodes. Also, get a hold of us! Thanks for listening!

Wes is joined by Comics Aficionados: YouTubers Comic, by Perch and Comic Quirks, comic book retailers Uel Carter from Fantastic Comics and Pele from Parts Unknown and co-host Dok. The Comics Aficionados break down all the latest comic book industry news and rumors. The comic book news media is a shell of tis former self. They rarely even pretend to provide objective truth or criticism about the industry anymore. In the internet age consumers are inundated with the personal agendas and politics of the people behind websites, a plethora of shocking click-bate headlines and an endless string of dishonest, bought-and-paid-for shill takes. The panel discuss how we got here and how we can reverse course. (00:02:40) Legendary comic writer Warren Ellis and collaborator Ben Templesmith announced the return of their FELL series to Image Comics 1 years after allegations of abuse against Ellis. It didn't take long for the mob to get their pitchforks out. The project has been indefinitely postponed until Ellis satiates the mob. Should Ellis be banned from comics for life? (00:35:40) Marvel announced not one, but five writers are replacing Nick Spencer at the helm of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. Kelly Thompson, Saladin Ahmed, Zeb Wells, Patrick Gleason and Cody Ziglar are replacing Peter Parker with clone Ben Reilly in an upcoming initiative called “Spider-Man Beyond.” (01:21:21) Loki has long been a complex figure in Norse mythology. This week LOKI director Kate Herron tried to portray the character as bisexual, but it's far more complicated than that. (01:35:05) Jason Aaron's AVENGERS story arc “World War She-Hulk” is featuring a new iteration of the Jennifer Walters, Winter Hulk. The most hideous, masculine version of the character yet. (01:39:22) Finally, it appears Marvel are no longer comfortable launching new X-Men ongoing titles. The Aficionados debate what it all means for X-Men moving forward. It's been quite a year to say the least and while conventions and comic shops are opening back up, I'd love to ask, how has your relationship to comics and the creation of comics changed over the last year? With Brooklyn Gladiator, Moon Lake, and Fishkill under your belt, and knowing how you have been reading Heavy Metal since you were 9 or 10, what has it been like making comics for the publisher?Writing for a publisher like Heavy Metal, which always seems to have had a certain bite to them, do you ever feel like you need to go harder or edgier with the work? You're also a screenwriter and director, of course. How does that experience translate into working on a comics script? You've worked with some incredible artists like Simon Bisley, Darick Robertson, and Ben Templesmith, what is your working relationship like with these artists? Was there a moment, a page or panel, from Fishkill that Templesmith simply blew you away with?Lawrence Blum is listed as the co-creator for Fishkill; what was that collaboration process like?A story like Fishkill blends crime, corruption, drug use, and the filth of the city all into one. Did you have any inspirations in life, film, or other comics that lead to the idea of the series?Obviously Fishkill himself is not someone we should aspire to be. There are a lot of unseemly characters and situations in the story; how do you get in the headspace to write someone like that? What comics are you reading right now?Off Topic Top Shelf: Dan Fogler - mixed martial arts, making movies, The Offer - Francis Ford Coppola

I got my 2nd Covid vaccine shot today and as of this writing I'm feeling great but, given all that I have read and seen on the internet, that's subject to change within the next few hours. So, I'm writing this the day before posting in the hopes that my planning ahead will work out for the best and all I have to do is click "publish" tomorrow afternoon. And yes, I usually write these posts that no one reads mere minutes before posting the episodes...what can I say? I'm a lifelong procrastinator. Annnnnnnyway. We have an extra long episode for you this week but it's with good reason: we got to talk with . For those who might be unaware or unfamiliar, Ben is an incredibly talented artist and writer who co-created 30 Days of Night and also created titles such as Wormwood: Gentleman Corpse, Welcome to Hoxford, and he recently started his own Instagram webcomic . We cover a pretty wide range of topics in our chat with Ben, but if you're looking for more or want to support him and his artistic endeavors, you can check out his page, his , or hopefully in the near future, meet him at a show. Until then, we hope you dig this week's jam; Ben is a great dude to chat with and we can't thank him enough for stopping by. Enjoy! -Jr.

Where did the inspiration come from for these comics? What was it like working with legendary artists Ben Templesmith and Simon Bisley? Are there further entertainment plans for them? Of course, we also talk his acting career. When's Luke back on The Walking Dead? Will Uncle Marv return on The Goldbergs? And what can we expect from Jacob in the next Fantastic Beasts film? In this episode, our two comic aficionados read "30 Days of Night" by Steve Niles with art by Ben Templesmith. To get some insight into what it is really like to live that far north, they are joined by Dan Summers; a resident of Ulukhaktok in Northern Canada. Ulukhaktok is as close to the North Pole as the real Barrow (Utqiagvik), Alaska from the story. In the original three issue mini series published in 2002, Eben Oleman and his wife Stella make up the entire police force of Barrow. An evil group of vampires descend upon the town after hearing that the town suffers from 30 days of nightfall; allowing them to feed without the burden of sleep. As the townspeople are slaughtered, an ancient vampire named Vicente arrives to keep the knowledge of vampires a secret. He ultimately settles to kill the entire town, resulting in Eben injecting himself with vampire blood to become a creature of the night himself. If you'd like to contribute a voice note, please reach out by following us @mattandcalereadcomics on Instagram and Facebook or @mattandcaleread on Twitter.

Yes, I am aware that David Lynch's "Dune" is not REALLY a horror film and does not (technically) fit within our "Scare-A-Mental" format change for the month, HOWEVER, when your guest Ben Templesmith is as passionate about the worlds of Dune and this film, how can you say no? (Nevermind the fact that the idea for ScareAMental came along after he'd made his film choices. As well as the zealot-like love for Dune and David Lynch that my co-hosts hold for the property and the director.)Come with us as we search for wormsign in a most (I feel) un-Lynchian world.Check out the posters we discuss at http://cinementalpod.com
