6th Sunday of Easter “It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you.” “In this is love: not that we have loved God, but that he has loved us.” “As the Father loves me, so I also love you. Remain in my love.”
We celebrate Easter with joy because of what Jesus did for all who MIGHT believe in Him! So, death, burial, and resurrection was the single greatest action that has ever impacted humanity But...do you know what's even more important than Easter It's your response to the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus!! There are really only three ways we can respond. In our response, we sit in our "chair." Join us today as Pastor Ken challenges us in our response to Jesus's death Burial and resurrection. What chair are you sitting in ? If you want to know more information about us or you want to get connected please visit us at YourOneChurch.com
Easter It's EASTER Sunday- He Is Risen! Celebrate with us the FREEDOM that Jesus brought when He died for our sins, the MIRACLE of His resurrection, and the HOPE that we can one day be with Him forever. That's a lot to be grateful for- let's worship together and hear from God on this Easter Sunday together. We're so glad you're joining us this week, Harbor fam! Easter -- “It is finished.” By saying this Jesus was signaling to the Jewish world that there was no more need for sacrifices or temples because His work brought the ultimate fulfillment to what their sacrificial system foreshadowed. When Jesus rose from the grave it was proof that he had conquered not just death but opened up an entirely new way for us to have a relationship with God.
Easter - It's Time to Roar!
Third Sunday of Easter - "It's pretty clear why Jesus had to rise from the dead. The answer lies with a combination of forgiveness of sin and newness of life. Are we willing to take him up on the invitation? If so, how do we do it?"
“The most fantastic of all Christian claims is that Jesus Christ rose from [read more] about Easter: It’s Kind of a Big Deal
Today we are fasting from the thought that says, "It’s impossible." Jesus said, "All things are possible to him who believes". What is in your life today that you have given up on or considered impossible? Whatever it is (provided it’s legal!), don’t ever give up. Never, never, never give up. One Easter weekend, a major political story broke in America. The New York Times asked me, "Since this story is so big, will you be speaking about it at church on Easter?" "It certainly is a big story," I responded, "But SOMEONE RISING FROM THE DEAD IS EVEN BIGGER!" They then asked what I would specifically say about it. I answered, "If a man can rise from the dead, anything is possible!" So today, let’s fast from the thought that says, "It’s impossible." THINK IT AND SAY IT!!!! All things are possible for me because I believe God’s Word. All of His promises are possible because all His promises are "Yes"; and He can’t lie. Jesus is the WAY when it seems like there is no way. Faith comes as I hear God’s Word; and faith moves the impossible mountain as I speak God’s Word today, in Jesus’ Name! REMEMBER NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER EVER GIVE UP!!!! This is the story of Easter: It is not bunny rabbits, colored eggs, jelly beans, a Sunrise Service, or breakfast at the Church! Easter is when God died for our sins! It is watching an innocent Son of God paying for our sins. As the hymn says, “When He was on the Cross, I was on His mind!”

What's the big deal about Easter? It's all about love – love coming to the rescue, love that you can trust. There is no greater "I love you" in the universe than what happened on the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ. You are loved. You have access to God and his favor in Christ. Find it this Easter!
We know the "what" of Easter, but have you ever thought about the "why" of Easter? It is the "what" AND the "why" of Easter that we find ours.
What is Easter? It is a celebration of the Resurrection. So what does the Resurrection mean and why does it matter?
