When I look around, I see a ton of leaders who are going against God's will. It's hard to want to follow them, but scripture calls us to respect those who are put in positions of authority over us. In today's message, Pastor Ken says the book of Zephaniah is relatable to today because Zephaniah talks about corrupt leaders. When you have a hard time following those in power, remind yourself that God has a plan far greater than you think. Follow Him wholly and put your full faith and trust in God!
In Mark 2, Jesus does something surprising. He sits down for a meal with tax collectors and sinners. People society had written off and avoided. In this message, Pastor Ken explores what this moment reveals about the heart of Jesus. While many systems of religion focus on cleaning ourselves up before approaching God, Jesus moves toward people in their brokenness and invites them to follow Him.Send a text
Have you ever heard something and thought, “That's really good, I hope so-and-so heard that.” I know I do that all the time. The problem is, most of the time, I'm the one who really needed to hear it! In today's message, Pastor Ken says even though the Jews had the word of God, they still rebelled and thought that the things of the Bible were written for other people outside of themselves. Before you look out for others, inspect your own life! See if maybe God's speaking to you and trying to guide you.
Sometimes when I look around the world, I want to bring justice to what's unjust. Is anyone with me on that? There just seems to be so much that needs to be changed! Today, Pastor Ken gives us hope. He says God will bring justice to those who are against His will and that if they don't repent, He'll bring justice. You aren't meant to bring justice to those who are unjust. God promises to make all things right in the end! As hard as that is to trust in, you must remember that God's plans are far better than your own!
Have you ever realized that it's difficult to find peace when you're relying on yourself? I know when I do, I start to second-guess my decisions and ask myself if what I'm doing is actually right. In today's message, Pastor Ken says as a Christian, you must trust in God fully and allow Him to lead you. It's easy to be sucked into what this world thinks is good and right for you, but God wants you to fully depend on Him and let Him lead your life. He has the eternal perspective and will lead you to better things.
When I was in college, I always wanted to get good grades, but sometimes it was hard for me to do so. As much as I wanted to, I never put in the work to actually get good grades. I would take notes in class and then go home and never study, and let me tell you, that's not a recipe for success. Today, Pastor Ken says you must have faith in the Lord to live in eternity with Him. You must live for Him fully! Scripture says you will know a believer by their fruit, meaning you must live according to God's will for your life!
Recently, I've been seeing videos of these little kids who try to run away from home. They pack their bags and walk down the driveway only to eventually realize they don't know how to live on their own, and run back to the arms of their parent. Of course, every time the parent isn't scared because they know the child will always come home. Today, Pastor Ken says you must stand firm in God because He won't judge you if you trust in Him. Run back to your Father's arms today! You're never too far gone!
Packinghouse's Sunday morning worship service from March 1, 2026. John 8:1–11 — Why Women Suffer More Than Men Guest pastor Ken Graves opens by thanking the church and urging gratitude for faithful leadership, then uses the Good Samaritan to picture the church as an “inn” where hurting people are cared for and healed by the Word and the Spirit. In John 8, he walks through the woman caught in adultery and exposes the ugliness of the setup—how the accusers exploit a woman to trap Jesus, while conspicuously leaving the man out. He explains that the law required eyewitnesses and that the whole scene reveals the hypocrisy and cruelty of religious wolves, contrasting them with Jesus' calm authority and protective mercy. Ken frames the message around why women suffer more: physical vulnerability, deeper emotional capacity, and the longing to be loved that can be exploited in a fallen world, tying it back to Genesis 3's “sorrow” and brokenness under sin. The turning point is Jesus' quiet power—He writes, disarms the accusers, and then speaks to her with dignity: “Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more,” showing both mercy and truth. He ends personally, sharing his mother's story of abuse and exploitation to underline that Christ rescues the guilty and the wounded alike, then calls men to stand up and protect, and invites anyone ready to surrender to Jesus to receive forgiveness. - Ken Graves - Sunday, March 1, 2026
In the game of hide and seek, there's a seeker and then a ton of people who are hiding. The way the hiders win is if the seekers never find them! When I was younger, I remember having to get super creative to ensure I won as a hider, and most of the time it still wasn't enough… Today, Pastor Ken says there's nowhere you can hide from the Lord on judgment day. He'll find everyone who's against Him! Therefore, you must be ready and have a relationship with Him so you can be in His presence for eternity!
At a soccer match, the field is reserved for the players. It would be weird if someone from the crowd was on there, and yet it happens all the time. They must get security to get the fans off the field, and usually those people end up spending a night in jail. Today, Pastor Ken says the people in the book of Zephaniah disqualified themselves from entering the temple of God because of their actions. You have full access to God if you believe! He sent His Son so you can have a relationship with Him!
Pastor Ken confronts the pervasive danger of lust in a sexually saturated culture, grounding its urgency in Jesus' radical teaching in Matthew 5 that even lustful desire constitutes spiritual adultery, demanding radical commitment to purity. emphasizes that lust is not a minor moral failing but a spiritual battle that warps the soul and threatens eternal destiny, citing Scripture to show that unrepentant sin excludes one from God's kingdom. The central truth is that saving faith is inseparable from sanctification—justifying faith is a lust-fighting faith that transforms the heart, empowering believers to pursue purity through the Holy Spirit, the Word of God, and a deep satisfaction in Christ. The sermon calls for radical, proactive measures: rejecting excuses, resisting temptation by yielding to the Spirit, cultivating spiritual taste through Scripture, and relying on God's promises rather than worldly pleasures. Ultimately, it affirms that victory is possible through faith in Christ, who alone satisfies, and that the goal is not merely abstinence but the pursuit of holiness, so that, as Matthew 5:8 promises, the pure in heart will see God.
Have you ever tried to go on a diet? The thing that always breaks a diet is the compromises that are made in between. You see, once you break a rule once, it becomes easier to break it again in the future! In today's message, Pastor Ken warns you against the trap of the enemy. He'll tell you that it's okay to compromise and do a “little” sin once, but that's a slippery slope to go down. Trust in God's goodness and stand firm in His ways for your life. God's ways are eternal, while the ways of this world are fleeting.
Can we all agree that it's easy to be persuaded to do anything? I mean, think of the last time you were with your friends and did something just because everyone else was! Today, Pastor Ken says you must be wary of falling into the world's trap and becoming like the world. It seems tempting, but everything the world promises will all come crashing down. True fulfillment is found in Jesus. He's the only one who takes away all sin and shame. He loves you and is seeking a relationship with you!
Have you ever received something you knew you didn't deserve? I recently got married, and well, a lot of people wanted to bless my wife and me as we stepped into this new covenant together. There were plenty of gifts that we got that we didn't deserve! We felt extremely loved by everyone! In today's message, Pastor Ken says in the last days God will show His mercy, but also show how powerful He is. He'll judge those who need to be judged, but if you choose to follow Him, you'll live with Him for eternity!
In week four of our Generosity series, Pastor Ken explores Jesus' teaching from the Sermon on the Mount about making eternal investments. Drawing from Matthew 6:19-24, he challenges listeners to shift from an earthly to a kingdom perspective on finances. The message examines three key choices: two investments (earthly vs. heavenly treasures), two perspectives (temporal vs. eternal), and two masters (God vs. money). Through powerful illustrations—including the story of missionary Jim Elliot and businessman Stanley Tam—the sermon emphasizes that while we can't take our possessions to heaven, we can send them ahead through kingdom investments. The central question: Are you living for the dot (this life) or the line (eternity)? A compelling call to use God-given resources to "empty hell and fill heaven." I remember when I was younger, I constantly pushed back on what my parents would tell me to do. Back then, the things I pushed back on felt silly to follow. Now, as I look back on my childhood, I realize all the things my parents were trying to teach me were for my benefit in the long run, not just in the moment! In today's message, Pastor Ken says the book of Zephaniah will call you out in a lot of things, but it's because God sees the eternal perspective. Trust His wisdom and guidance today!
There's something truly amazing about what Jesus has done for us. He didn't have to come to this earth or experience the suffering we face. He didn't have to take our place on the cross, but He chose to. Jesus willingly sacrificed Himself for all who believe in Him and confess Him as the Son of God. Today, Pastor Ken wants you to know that you can become part of God's family, too. You don't have to face this world alone, because the Savior of the universe desires a personal relationship with you.
If you knew something terrible was about to happen, a natural disaster or a public accident, wouldn't you do everything in your power to warn people and help save them? Many have heard of the rapture, but few truly understand what comes afterward. That's why in today's message, Pastor Ken urges you to share the gospel with the world, to encourage them to be saved, and let people know that time is short. A day is coming when it will be too late to warn others, and no one wants to be left behind.
Have you ever had one of those days when you're left alone with thoughts of your past life? Maybe you lived shackled by old habits or felt stuck with no one to turn to. If that's you today, Pastor Ken wants you to know that you are not alone. Jesus Christ came into this world, died for your sins, and promises to be with you always. Through every storm and season of hardship, Jesus Christ remains faithful and will carry you through every struggle. Trust in Jesus Christ.
In week two of Life at the Speed of Prayer, Pastor Ken Olson called us deeper into a dependent, daily walk with God, reminding us that our lives will never rise above the level of our prayer life. Sharing stories from his childhood on the farm to encountering the Holy Spirit at a young age, Pastor Ken illustrated how consistent prayer transforms insecurities into strength and positions us to go from victory to victory. He emphasized that prayer is not a ritual but a revolutionary partnership with God, activating the Holy Spirit, releasing authority, and opening heaven's flow into our everyday lives.Drawing from the account of Moses holding up his staff in Exodus, he painted a powerful picture: when we lift our hands in prayer, ground is taken; when we neglect it, ground is lost. Pastor Ken urged us not to limit God through prayerlessness but to embrace our calling as a supernatural church in this prophetic hour, contending for our families, our church, and our nation. The invitation was clear: step out of distraction, step into the secret place, and become people who carry His presence, knowing that prayer always precedes momentum, revival, and lasting victory. Our Links–• Join The Prayer Movement!: https://theprayermovement.com• Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/livingwordmn• Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/livingwordmn• Stay up to date with all things LWCC at https://www.LWCC.org• Join our Online Church community here: https://www.lwcc.org/onlinechurch• Give online: https://www.lwcc.org/give/• If you recently committed your life to God, we'd like to give you a free eBook to help you in your spiritual journey. In this life, many people live in a worldly way. Before we came to Christ, many of us lived the same way, indulging in our own wants and desires. But when we come to Christ and offer Him our hearts, He frees us from those burdens. He removes the shackles from our wrists and sets us free. So why would we ever want to return to those chains? Today, Pastor Ken encourages you to keep your eyes fixed on the Lord. Leave the past in the past, and look forward to your relationship with Jesus.
We live in a world where having an unpopular opinion often means being told you're wrong. Now more than ever, the Word of God and those who follow Christ are met with opposition because it stands against what many believe. But today, Pastor Ken encourages you to hold fast to the Word of God. Place your trust in it, and you'll see time and time again that Scripture proves true. And one day, Jesus will return for all who believe in Him, who place their faith in Him, and who confess His name.
Faith isn't always easy to demonstrate. Many people place their trust in ideas, believing that people are good or that there's something more beyond this life, yet they struggle to trust what they cannot see. But, there comes a moment when each of us must make a decision: Will we choose this world and its temporary things, or will we choose what is eternal? In today's message, Pastor Ken encourages you to make that decision and choose Christ. Place your faith in Jesus and allow Him to show you the way.
It's amazing how, before we met Christ, many of us believed we were good people. But the reality is that in a sinful world, with an inherent tendency toward sin, we fall far short of God's standard. When we truly understand what sin is and how it separates us from God, we realize we miss the mark completely. That's why Jesus came into this world: to save us from our sin and to take our place on the cross. Today, Pastor Ken reminds you that when you accept the grace of Jesus, you are made new and fully forgiven in Christ.

Right now, there is a clarion call to the church and to this generation to pray! So said Pastor Ken in his message this past Sunday entitled, “Life at the Speed of Prayer.” This call to prayer is not for just a few “super-spiritual” people. This call to prayer is for all of us! You see, there's a lot going on in America and she's at a critical window of time. If we want to see America fulfill God's plan for her, then it's up to us to keep her on track through our prayers. Why prayer? Prayer activates the plan of God and sets us in motion, toward the direction of His purposes!Pastor Ken said, “Right now the signs of the church of America don't look the greatest. But guess what? I see signs on the landscape of things breaking loose, revival rising, and awakening spreading. The year 2026 is to be a year of movement and taking ground for God's kingdom. I challenge you right now, make a decision to go further in your prayer life than ever before!”Our Links–• Join The Prayer Movement!: https://theprayermovement.com• Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/livingwordmn• Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/livingwordmn• Stay up to date with all things LWCC at https://www.LWCC.org• Join our Online Church community here: https://www.lwcc.org/onlinechurch• Give online: https://www.lwcc.org/give/• If you recently committed your life to God, we'd like to give you a free eBook to help you in your spiritual journey. As parents, we know that not everything our children ask for will benefit them. Sometimes we have to say no, even when they don't understand it, because we're looking out for their future. In the same way, God does this with us. He knows our hearts, our wants, and our needs, but sometimes the things we desire aren't what's best for us. That's why Pastor Ken wants us to know that no matter how God answers our prayers, we can always trust Him to bring what is good for our future into our lives.

Pastor Ken continues teaching through the book of Deuteronomy.
Pastor Ken explores why Jesus taught more about money than any other topic and challenges a fundamental question: Why does God bless us with wealth when He knows it's "hard for the rich to enter the kingdom of God"? Drawing from 2 Corinthians 9 and the parable of the rich fool, this message confronts our scarcity mindset and reveals God's true purpose for blessing us financially. The answer isn't to increase our standard of living, but our standard of giving. Through the inspiring story of a housekeeper whose $300 gift launched a mission that reached 100 million people, listeners are challenged to become "funnels" rather than "buckets"—allowing God's generosity to flow through them to advance His kingdom. Tunnel vision happens to everyone. It's when you get so locked in on one problem, goal, or outcome, that you miss everything else that really matters—your relationships, your perspective on work and life, and even what God might be doing around you. You focus on what you think needs to get done and lose sight of the bigger picture. Today, Pastor Ken encourages you to lift your eyes, look beyond yourself, and pay attention to the people around you and the work God is doing in them.
Pastor Ken continues teaching through the book of Acts.
Have you ever looked around at the world and wondered what God is doing? You see hurt, loneliness, hate, and pain everywhere, and you start asking, “Why doesn't God do something about this?” You're not alone. The prophet Habakkuk asked those same questions when he saw the injustice around him. Today, Pastor Ken points out a powerful truth: when your heart and attitude are right, you can bring your honest questions to God—and doing that can be an act of worship.
Have you ever dabbled in learning an instrument, eager at first, only to quit after a short time? Or worked out for a week or two, bought the gear, maybe even posted about it—but never built a real routine? It's understandable; we've all been there. But… have you ever truly gone all in with God's Word? Today, Pastor Ken challenges you to not just read the Scriptures, but to dive all the way in, making His Word essential to your life by actually applying it.
Have you ever had to slam on the brakes and take a sudden exit because you realized you were headed in the wrong direction? Sometimes life calls for that same kind of move. You have to stop, admit you've gone your own way, and turn around to get back on track before it's too late. Today, Pastor Ken challenges you to be part of the change culture desperately needs, by not going your way, but traveling on God's way—and watching Him go to work through you.
God's judgment is real, and it's coming. When we refuse to turn toward God and the forgiveness He offers, judgment becomes unavoidable. That's what happened in the time of the prophet Nahum, when the nation of Assyria remained proud and unrepentant, so God brought them down. Today, Pastor Ken offers you a sober reminder: judgment isn't just a past reality—it's a future one. Now is your time to turn to God, to receive His mercy while it's still being offered.

Pastor Ken continues teaching through the book of Deuteronomy.
No matter what you've done in your past—no matter how bad it feels—God offers forgiveness. The lies you've told, the people you've hated, the hurt you've caused—all of it can be forgiven when you bring it to God. Through Jesus, His death, and His resurrection, forgiveness is complete and unconditional. There are no strings attached. Today, Pastor Ken encourages you to stop carrying those old ghosts and bring them honestly to God, trusting that He will forgive you fully.
Next time you have a few moments at home, why don't you go room to room and take a mental inventory of what you have? How much of it have you used in the last year? Last three years? Are there things you've never used? It can be easy to collect and hoard, only to complain about the lack of storage space. Do you really need that extra climate-controlled storage room down the street? Today, Pastor Ken challenges you to consider storing up treasures in heaven, rather than a bunch of junk here on earth.
