Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of salesmen out there who are great people who want the best for you… However, most of them know they are selling you that car you don't really need for way more than you should spend on it, because they need food on their table too. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that for many in Ancient Israel, it was all about earning a buck, which led to major corruption that displeased God. And guess what? That same corruption still happens all over the globe today.
In this episode of What's the World Coming To?, Pastor Ken Ortize explores the growing tension between Islam and Western civilization and asks whether we are approaching a pivotal civilizational moment.Rather than framing the conversation politically, this episode examines the issue through the lenses of biblical prophecy, theology, history, and culture. As antisemitism increases, global instability accelerates, and the moral foundations of the West continue to erode, Pastor Ken challenges listeners to consider whether these developments align with what Scripture describes as the signs of the times. What happens when fundamentally different worldviews collide? Are current events random—or part of a larger spiritual trajectory? And what responsibility do Christians have in moments like these? This episode calls for discernment, courage, and faithfulness in an increasingly divided world.www.wtwcomingto.com
Whenever you go to cook a meal for someone, you know how important timing is… not only how long something is in the pan, but also when to start things so that they all finish together. No one wants to have a nice, warm piece of chicken and green beans, only to be left with lukewarm mashed potatoes. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that God wants you to be on fire for Him, not lukewarm. He doesn't want you sitting idly by in your comfort, but wants you to minister to those around you.
Using political power to get one's way isn't a new tactic. People have been doing it since there was political power to abuse. Just as you can see it on the news today, so can you find it in the minor prophets in the Bible. Today, Pastor Ken teaches that the ancient people would use their power to slowly starve out their enemies' economic stability. When you experience oppression because of your faith, know that it's nothing new. Hold fast, persevere, and don't cave in. Let your faith stand strong.
There are many, many promises in the Bible. If you don't believe me, just open it up and see! However, as Pastor Ken points out, many of those promises are linked to faithfulness, repentance, and obedience. The problem is that many people today don't really want to live in faithfulness, repentance, and obedience. They want all the benefits by doing none of the work. You can't buy favor with God. He's not after your wallet, but rather your heart. Today, will you walk in obedience? Will you be faithful and repent?

When life feels loud, confusing, or exhausting, God often uses “wilderness” seasons—not to punish you, but to reset you, strip away what doesn't belong, and draw you into deeper relationship. In this message, Pastor Ken walks us through Elijah's turning point in 1 Kings 19, showing how God restores the tired, re-centers our perspective, and gives clear next steps—because you're never alone, even when it feels like you are.
If you were to walk into any big box bookstore, what would you see? You'd likely see a few shelves and tables right at the front full of self-help books, or books that promote self-acceptance and worldly indulgence. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that this focus that culture has on self-esteem is problematic for a couple of reasons, but the biggest being that it's unbiblical. Your identity isn't in how you value yourself or what you indulge in. Your identity is in Jesus Christ, and how He died to save you.

How long do you find yourself holding grudges? Is it easy for you to forgive, or are you still harboring a grudge against that classmate who cut in front of you in the line to the water fountain after recess in the third grade? Letting go isn't always the easiest thing to do. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that God, who has the right not to let go, is often quick to forgive and throws in a dash of mercy while He's at it. Aren't you grateful that He doesn't hold grudges the same way that you do?
Theater has a deep, rich history, with quite a few fascinating technological feats. In the 19th century, actors literally stepped into the limelight – a chemical reaction from burning calcium oxide. The ancient Greeks used different masks to increase the number of characters with fewer actors. It's where we get our word hypocrite from. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that many people today are like these Greek actors, wearing masks, but God wants to see the real you, not some masked variant.
When a good leader walks into a room, people just know it. It's what John Maxwell calls the Law of Respect… We follow those leaders whom we naturally respect. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that those who respect the King follow the King, and those who follow the King can't wait for the return of the King. One day, King Jesus will return, and if you're a born-again believer, then you will be able to walk with Him forever. He's the best leader you could ever ask for, and it's easy to tell.
God had a plan back then, and God has a plan today. It may seem like the world has gone haywire, but God has it all under control. He knows exactly what He's doing. In today's introductory message to the book of Micah, Pastor Ken teaches that God had a plan for Israel, and Micah was going to let them know. He would call the nation to repentance and give them hope for restoration. Similarly, God has a plan for you and an avenue for you to have restoration in His Son, Jesus Christ.

In this Advent Week 2 message on Peace, Pastor Ken shows how the peace God offers isn't the absence of conflict but the presence of a Savior who steps into our chaos. Drawing from Isaiah's promise of the coming Prince of Peace, we're invited to experience a peace that steadies our hearts, restores our relationships, and anchors us in God's unshakable kingdom. Nick Schwartz joins the conversation and talks about his work bringing clean water to broken spaces in the world.https://kindhumanfoundation.com/
Have you ever been so frustrated that you gave up? I remember when I was in school, I would constantly give up on my homework because it was too frustrating for me to complete. Today, Pastor Ken says Jonah wanted to give up while on this journey with God, but why? It's because he was stubborn and didn't want to continue the task that God appointed Him. He was frustrated with God! When you're frustrated with where God has you, remind yourself there's a plan, even if you can't see it.

How often do we want to control the things going on in our lives? We want to get that job, date that person, or bring justice where justice is deserved. Today, Pastor Ken says Jonah tried his best to control God and tell Him what to do, but God always did what was best for Jonah. God's always going to do what's best for His people. He loves you and wants to put you in the best situation to thrive as a follower of Him. Put your trust in Him and allow Him to guide your every step. He promises to never fail you!
Jerusalem is small, isolated, and—on paper—strategically insignificant. So why does all of Scripture, and much of the world's conflict, revolve around it?Pastor Ken walks through the biblical, historical, and prophetic reasons God chose this city, why it remains fiercely contested, and how Jerusalem becomes ground zero for the end-times timeline, including the Third Temple, the Antichrist, and the return of Jesus to the Mount of Olives.A clear and accessible breakdown of one of the most important themes in biblical prophecy.www.wtwcomingto.com
Sometimes it can feel like the government around us is against us. It can be the rules put in place, the people put in power, or even just the way things are priced at the grocery store! Today, Pastor Ken says we must remember that we need to pray for our leaders. We must pray that they can lead us well and for their salvation. God's always working! When it comes to our government, we must remember that they're humans too. They will make mistakes, but God's put them in power for a reason.
Fear loves to whisper, "You don't have enough… and you'll never have enough." In this episode, Pastor Ken unpacks: ✨ Why God allows "drought seasons" and what dries-up brooks reveal ✨ How God's provision often arrives in unexpected forms — even ravens ✨ Why obedience unlocks miracles, especially when resources seem too small ✨ How God resurrects what we thought was dead and gone This message is for anyone battling anxiety, financial pressure, uncertainty, or spiritual exhaustion. Let the Word of God rebuild your faith, renew your contentment, and silence the fear of not enough.
I recently went to a football game, and it was the most electric atmosphere. The team was losing, but then it all shifted when a player intercepted the ball and ran it 99 yards for a touchdown. The crowd was ecstatic, and the home team ended up winning! What if I told you that when God enters your life, things that things can change as drastically as the momentum for a sports team. Today, Pastor Ken says God is reaching out and trying to change your life. When you choose to believe, all of Heaven rejoices!

When a parent shares something with their kid, oftentimes it's met with pushback and skepticism. The child forgets that their parent loves them and only wants what's best for them. In today's message, Pastor Ken says sometimes with God we choose not to follow Him because we're not all in on His plan for our lives. An earthly parent is sinful and can fail, but God doesn't fail. He loves you and will never lead you down a path of destruction. He's all-knowing, so He'll always put you where you need to be.
In this Advent Week 1 message on Hope, Pastor Ken reminds us that the hope we long for isn't found in circumstances but in the promised Light spoken of in Isaiah. As Israel waited in darkness for a Savior, we learn how to anchor our own waiting in the faithful God who still breaks through with hope today.

When we think of the love of God, it seems backwards. It seems weird that a God who is perfect and loving would give us a way to have a relationship with Him. In today's message, Pastor Ken says we must remember that God doesn't treat us like we deserve. Because of His love, He's constantly reaching out to you to have a relationship with you. He wants you to be free from the chains of your sin and live in the freedom He gives you. Trust in the freedom that His Son gave you today! Choose His love today!

Can we all agree that it's hard to forgive someone when they wrong us? We want justice right away, and yet sometimes God says no. Today, Pastor Ken says that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us! He loves you and wants you to be with Him for eternity. But what does this mean for you right now? It means you can't do anything that would take away God's heart to reach for you. Even when you sin, He's constantly trying to get to your heart and give you a chance to have a relationship with Him!
This episode addresses one of the most frequent questions in Bible prophecy: Is the United States mentioned in the last days—and if not, why?Pastor Ken explains why Scripture focuses on Israel, not the Western world, and why America may play little or no role in end-times events. He walks through the historical cycle of rising and collapsing empires, the cultural and moral indicators of national decline, and how global movements are reshaping world power. He also explores how the rapture could dramatically diminish America's influence—and why believers must stay engaged, prayerful, and committed to truth in a culture drifting toward decadence and division.A timely, sobering, and hope-filled episode for anyone concerned about where our nation is heading and what Scripture says about the future.www.wtwcomingto.com
Have you ever driven with a GPS and tried to go against it? I find myself doing that all the time! I'll think I'm smarter than the GPS only to find that the way that I thought was faster and better wasn't better. Usually, I find myself using the GPS the way it's intended in the end! Today, Pastor Ken says when we stray away from where God wants us to be, He'll always bring us back. Have you allowed God to lead you, or are you trying to do things your way? Follow God's way today and find confidence in His path.
What if you could breathe again — even before life gets easier? In today's powerful message from Pastor Ken Senchal, we dive into The Power of Contentment — a life-transforming truth from our ongoing Grateful Rebels series. Most people chase peace. But contentment is when peace finally chases YOU. Pastor Ken walks us through four biblical figures — Paul, Habakkuk, Job, and Hannah — each revealing a different dimension of supernatural contentment: • Paul shows that contentment is inner strength from Christ • Habakkuk shows how to rejoice when everything collapses • Job teaches us how to worship through wreckage • Hannah demonstrates how God settles our soul before He solves the problem This episode will realign your heart, steady your faith, and remind you that God's presence is enough in every season.
When a parent watches their kids, they must find the fine line between letting their kids fail and protecting them. Sometimes you have to let your kid touch the stove for them to know it's hot! In today's message, Pastor Ken says some people need a low point in their life to turn back to Jesus. You shouldn't be that person! Trust in Him to be your solution to any situation in your life. He loves you and doesn't want to see you go through the valleys of life before you turn to Him. He wants a relationship with you!

Pastor Ken teaches a topical Thanksgiving message.
When we sin, our first instinct is often to hide it, excuse it, or compare ourselves to others. But none of that erases guilt or brings peace. Scripture is clear: the answer to our sin is repentance. Pastor Ken will teach you that repentance isn't just saying “sorry”; it's turning around, leaving the path that leads to death, and running back to God. It's humbling, but it opens the door to forgiveness, restoration, and freedom. Today, hear about how, when you repent, God will meet you with the open arms of grace.
Pastor Ken reads through Acts 17
When we put our faith in Christ, God gives us a gift that never leaves: the Holy Spirit living inside us. He is not a visitor who comes and goes, but a permanent resident, guiding, comforting, and convicting. Even if we tried to run, we could never escape His presence. Today, Pastor Ken will encourage you, since that truth isn't meant to trap you, but to assure you, you are never abandoned, never alone. The Spirit of God dwells within you forever. You carry His very presence in your daily life.

We can't change what we don't confront. The Angel of the Lord wrestled with Jacob and asked him to define the strongholds in his life. Once we, like Jacob, name our battles, we can defeat them! God uses every crisis we face to change us and draw us closer to Him. It's time we stop running from our problems and hand them over to God!
