Have you ever watched a movie with someone who wasn't locked in on it? Whether it be on their phone or talking with the people around them, it's annoying when someone's full attention isn't focused on the thing in front of them. Today, Pastor Ken says God wants your full attention to be on him in every circumstance. You must trust Him through everything! To trust Him, you must build a relationship with Him. You can't trust someone you don't know! Read scripture and converse with Him today!
Pastor Ken finishes Acts chapter 20
I have a large family, so when we eat dinner, it's usually an all-out brawl. I remember one time I placed my plate behind me to start a conversation and turned around to find all my food gone because someone had eaten it! It would be funny if someone told me, “You're full because I'm full.” In today's message, Pastor Ken makes it clear that you're not a Christian just because your family is. You must make an active decision to follow Jesus! It would be strange if just because your parents believe you also believe.
When you're a sports fan, you have a choice of which team you want to follow and cheer for. Don't be like me and pick the one team that's constantly losing with very minimal times I can cheer! Today, Pastor Ken says there are only two teams you can be on. You can choose the enemy or the Lord. Can I attempt to convince you to be on God's side? God is for you. He'll always win the battle against the enemy and will never put you in a situation you can't handle. Choose to be on the winning side today!

Twice a week, students participate in group therapy sessions with licensed instructors and engage in literacy lessons via i-Ready, an evidence-based education tool. Every week, A Better World's students partake in expansive extracurricular activities, and their parents gain access to our community pantry, where those in need receive a 7-day supply of groceries. Parents are also invited to attend our community workshops, where they learn how to best support their children's success in the classroom and at home.  Connect with Carl Fochler:LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/carl-fochler-492733110  Connect with Jeff Thomas: Website: https://www.arkosglobal.com/Podcast: https://www.generousbusinessowner.com/Book: https://www.arkosglobal.com/trading-upEmail: jeff.thomas@arkosglobal.comTwitter: https://twitter.com/ArkosGlobalAdvFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/arkosglobal/LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/arkosglobaladvisorsInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/arkosglobaladvisors/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCLUYpPwkHH7JrP6PrbHeBxw
What if the season you're in isn't God pulling away from you—but God preparing you for more? In this powerful message, Pastor Ken Senchal invites us into Jesus' teaching from John 15, where remaining in Christ is not only about closeness—it's about refinement. While many believers understand the importance of staying connected to Jesus, far fewer understand why God allows pruning in the lives of those who are already bearing fruit. This episode speaks directly to those moments when faith feels harder than expected—when loss, delay, closed doors, or conviction make it seem like God is taking things away instead of adding blessings. Pastor Ken explains why pruning is not punishment, but preparation, and how God lovingly removes what no longer produces life so that greater fruit can grow. You'll also discover how remaining connected to Jesus during seasons of pruning renews your mind, calms fear and anxiety, and restores spiritual clarity. Drawing from Romans 12, Galatians 5, and Revelation 3, this message shows how disconnection leads to fear-driven, emotional decision-making—while abiding in Christ restores peace, wisdom, and self-control through the Holy Spirit. If you're walking through uncertainty… If you're questioning why obedience feels costly… If you're tempted to pull away instead of lean in… This message will encourage you to hold tighter to the Vine, trust the Gardener, and believe that God is cultivating something new in your life.
Have you ever been to a sports game in the wrong stadium? I once went to a game where I was a fan of the visiting team. It was scary cause I felt like I didn't belong. Every time I wanted to cheer, I was cheering internally (as an introvert like me would). Today, Pastor Ken says anyone working against God is working for the devil. You might feel like a fan visiting an opposing team's home stadium because the enemy owns this world. Be a light in the darkness and fight the lies of the enemy, saying to be silent.
Pastor Ken teaches topically from John 21.
When you're a child, everything your parents tell you to do seems like micromanaging. What you don't realize is that all they're doing is trying to benefit you in the long run! They know things about life that you don't know! In today's message, Pastor Ken says God's plan always wins out. Because God is all-knowing, He's able to guide you to where you need to be. He knows all the ways you'll thrive and will put you in situations you never thought you'd be in! Trust in His plan for your life today!

If you've watched a basketball game, then you'll know that when a player falls, everyone goes to pick him up. That's what being a team is all about. Today, Pastor Ken says if you fall, Christ will always pick you back up. In life, there are moments when you'll feel bad about yourself, but in those moments, you must remind yourself that Jesus is the reason you can stand confidently. He gives you strength beyond all understanding. When you fall, because you will, Christ will be the first one to pick you up.

As we look around, we see chaos everywhere. It seems like there's a different war every week! When there is lying and corruption involved, of course, chaos will ensue. Today, Pastor Ken says the only person who can save this world is Jesus. Without Christ, we're broken, but with Him we're redeemed. Rest in your relationship with Jesus today! He loves you and desires to be close to you. Even through your flaws, Jesus wants a relationship with you so He can fill your doubts with love and grace.
When people are fans of a celebrity, they'll often think that they know them personally when all they know is what's given to them on the internet! There's no personal relationship because they don't share life with them! Today, Pastor Ken says a lot of people think they have a relationship with God when they've never had a conversation with Him. You can't have a relationship with someone you've never talked to! Don't assume your relationship with Christ; seek out a deep relationship with Him.
In this message, Pastor Ken Senchal walks through the powerful truth of the Gospel found in Romans 10:9–10, where Scripture declares that when we confess Jesus as Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead, we are saved. Salvation moves us from spiritual death to spiritual life—from darkness into light. But salvation is only the beginning. Drawing from John 15:4–5, where Jesus says, "Remain in me, and I will remain in you… apart from me you can do nothing," Pastor Ken explains how real spiritual growth doesn't come from trying harder or being more religious—it comes from staying connected to Christ in a real, daily relationship. This episode also unpacks: Why many believers struggle to grow after coming to faith (Hebrews 5:12–14) The difference between religious routines and relational closeness with Jesus Jesus' personal invitation in Revelation 3:20 to open the door and share life with Him Whether you're exploring faith for the first time, returning to God, or feeling spiritually stuck, this message offers clarity, hope, and a simple next step: remain in Christ and let Him produce fruit in your life.
When a child disobeys their parents, the best thing a parent can do is discipline them, especially if it's a repetitive thing! Today, Pastor Ken says if you actively choose to disobey God, He'll discipline you, but it's to bring you back to Him. Like a GPS, God will always point you back to what your destination should be. He knows what's best for you and will always guide you back to His plan if you choose another path. Trust in His will for your life today. It's far better than anything you could dream or imagine!
When I applied to college, I applied to a lot of schools and only got accepted into two. This was most likely because of my grades in High School, but I do feel like God was pointing me to a place where I could grow in Him the most. In today's message, Pastor Ken says you're accepted by God, and you're free from the bondage of sin through His Son's blood. It's because of Jesus that you're free. God loved you so much that He sent His Son as a sacrifice so you could have eternity with Him!Â
If you've ever used a GPS, you know that if you go off the route, it reroutes you to a new direction and tries to get you to your destination. If you're like me, you fight the GPS and think you know better, but in the end, it always takes longer than it should to get to the destination. In today's message, Pastor Ken says Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through Him! When you choose other things, God points you back to grace and brings you back to Him.
Have you ever felt like your failures are so big that God couldn't possibly take you back? Today, Pastor Ken walks straight into that fear with Israel's desperate question: after blowing it this badly, what can we do to fix things with God? Their first answers expose total spiritual ignorance, offering bigger sacrifices, rivers of oil, even their own children, anything but the one thing He actually wants. You can't fix the relationship by “doing more.” He wants a heart that walks humbly wherever He guides it.
Have you ever realized Jesus calls every believer, no matter how long you've walked with Him, one of His “little ones?” Today, Pastor Ken brings the weight of that tender name right next to the fiercest warning in Scripture: cause one of these little ones who trust Me to stumble, and it would be better for you to have a millstone tied around your neck and be dropped into the sea. That's how seriously Jesus guards even the youngest believer. Anyone who tricks a believer into sin is playing with fire.
Have you ever wondered why God would drag mountains and the foundations of the earth into court as witnesses against His own people? Today, Pastor Ken opens Micah and shows you the heartbreak behind the indictment. The Creator stands up, calls the unchanging rocks to listen, and asks Israel, “My people, what did I ever do to wear you out?” After every miracle, every mercy, they still walked away like He was the problem. He's wounded because the ones He carried still refuse to follow His instruction.
This weekend, Pastor Ken walked us through Matthew 6:9-13 and reminded us that prayer isn't a performance or a last resort—it's a conversation with God. Using the Lord's Prayer, he showed how prayer flows from real connection, inviting us to come as we are, honest and unfiltered, to a good Father who loves us. We were encouraged to approach God as sinners saved by grace and as sons and daughters who trust him for daily provision, forgiveness, and strength.Â

Have you ever tried to bargain with God like He owes you something if you just behave better? Today, Pastor Ken makes it crystal clear: you can't entice, manipulate, or enforce anything on a God who needs nothing and holds all power. He made the covenant with Israel, and He's the one who keeps it, not them, not you. Your good days don't make Him love you more, your worst days don't make Him love you less. His love isn't a deal you negotiate; it's a promise He enforces all by Himself.
Have you ever heard the enemy whispering that you're still missing something Jesus didn't give you? Today, Pastor Ken describes how absolutely nothing can rip you out of God's love in Christ Jesus. Nothing. The One who holds you has already crushed every power that tries to tell you otherwise. Satan wants you chasing peace in a thousand places, but Jesus is the source, and if you have Him, you already have everything you need. If you have Him, you're not lacking one single thing.Â
Have you ever looked back at the version of you that first said yes to Jesus? Today, Pastor Ken paints the picture of brand-new believers just weeks after the tribulation, totally on fire but knowing nothing. That's every single one of us at the starting line. You barely knew the Bible, your motives were mixed with pride, you were clueless about doctrine, yet Jesus grabbed your heart anyway. The same grace that saved you while you were still stumbling over verses is the grace that's still carrying you now.
The kings of Micah's day had their flaws. Even if they believed in and followed God, they made mistakes, and some were just downright evil. That's why the people were hesitant to believe in a Messiah King. They couldn't wrap their minds around the idea of a perfect ruler. But, as Pastor Ken explains today, that's exactly who Jesus would be. He'd come to save the world, rule with love, and show people a path that would lead to eternity. And if he was the King of the whole world, then He'd also care for His remnant.Â
The truth of the Gospel is that Jesus came for all. Every person under the sun is important and special in His eyes. That's why, as Pastor Ken explains today, Jesus needed to be born in a place where people would not expect; a place that would tell everyone He didn't come just for the elite and powerful. He came to save everyone because He loves us all equally. Do you feel insignificant or that you live a small life compared to others? There is no such thing in Jesus' eyes. He came to save you, too!Â
Pastor Ken completes the journey through Revelation in chapter 22
Over the last few years, sports fans have come up with the term “the GOAT”: the Greatest Of All Time. You may be able to debate with someone about the GOAT of your favorite sport. Names like Tom Brady, Babe Ruth, Michael Jordan, or Serena Williams might come up in these discussions. Today, Pastor Ken reminds us of who the ultimate GOAT is, and there's no debating this truth. Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, He's your friend, and He's the perfect King. Have you declared Him the GOAT of your life?
The Christmas season, and wintertime in general, can be difficult for some people. Winter can be an test of endurance for some. But, as Pastor Ken says, "The long and cold winters of our life become somehow bearable because of the warmth of Christmas...In other words, because of Christmas, winter becomes a special time of year." And it's with that thought that we invite you to join Pastor Ken in Isaiah 9 as he preaches "Jesus...Our Forever King."
Pastor Ken teaches on Finding the will of God, heading into 2026.
Do you ever feel like you're missing something? Like you're in a hamster wheel on the path of life, and every day basically looks the same? Have you found purpose and meaning? In today's message, Pastor Ken gives you the answer to these questions. Step into a new life with Jesus Christ. It's as easy as acknowledging that you're a sinner, that you believe Jesus Christ is your Savior, and that you want His promise of eternity. He'll do the rest and turn you from who you were to who you are meant to be.
The kings of the Bible were only human. Some of them were good and tried their best, but ultimately failed in some regard. Others were just evil at heart and only looked out for their own interests. The people of Micah's day had a difficult time believing that the prophesied king would be anything different. But, as Pastor Ken discusses today, they had no idea what was coming. They could not comprehend that Jesus, the King, would be caring, loving, powerful, but also fully God; a perfect ruler for His people.Â
The Bible is fascinating. For those of us who read it today, much of it is history. We can look at research and see that the historical events discussed in Micah really happened. But for the people of Micah's day, the prophets were talking about things that would happen in the future. It was difficult for them to understand the prophecies because Micah was predicting something in the future. Today, Pastor Ken discusses some of these historical events and the prophecies surrounding Israel.Â
One day, there will be a new Jerusalem full of people who worship Jesus as the King of kings. There will be complete and total peace on earth, but elsewhere, countless people who walked away from Jesus will never experience peace again. Today, Pastor Ken teaches that the promises of God are exciting, but it's important not to look at them selfishly as what you have to look forward to. Share it with others. Give them some insight into what their future holds if they follow Jesus. Show them hope.
There's no doubt that Jesus can transform hearts and completely change lives. Just take a look at any point in church history over the last 2000 years. I'm sure your life can attest to it as well. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that if Jesus could do it in the past, He can do it in the future. Eventually, when He returns to Earth, everyone will see His glory and just how incredible He is. People who wanted nothing to do with Jesus before will suddenly drop everything to flock to Him.
Pastor Ken continues teaching on why Christ came to save.
Having a strong military is a necessary evil for all countries. No matter how peaceful a nation is, there are always issues that arise that pose security threats to its citizens. That's just part of human nature. Well, in today's message, Pastor Ken teaches about a time that Micah prophesies about where there will no longer be any reason to have a defense budget. Combat training will be pointless because the world will live in peace. Do you long for that day when there are no more wars or rumors of wars?
Pastor Ken continues teaching through the book of Acts.
Don't get me wrong, there are plenty of salesmen out there who are great people who want the best for you… However, most of them know they are selling you that car you don't really need for way more than you should spend on it, because they need food on their table too. In today's message, Pastor Ken teaches that for many in Ancient Israel, it was all about earning a buck, which led to major corruption that displeased God. And guess what? That same corruption still happens all over the globe today.
In this episode of What's the World Coming To?, Pastor Ken Ortize explores the growing tension between Islam and Western civilization and asks whether we are approaching a pivotal civilizational moment.Rather than framing the conversation politically, this episode examines the issue through the lenses of biblical prophecy, theology, history, and culture. As antisemitism increases, global instability accelerates, and the moral foundations of the West continue to erode, Pastor Ken challenges listeners to consider whether these developments align with what Scripture describes as the signs of the times. What happens when fundamentally different worldviews collide? Are current events random—or part of a larger spiritual trajectory? And what responsibility do Christians have in moments like these? This episode calls for discernment, courage, and faithfulness in an increasingly divided world.www.wtwcomingto.com
