Paul Bonomo has been a staple of the European house scene since the late 90ies, producing and DJing under his moniker SNAX. With countless releases and illustrious collaborations under his belt, the Berlin based American is all but a newcomer to the scene. The LUVCAST series continues with a mix from a close friend of the label. Guiddo is a natural when it comes to music production, DJing and has recently become resident Dj at Pepper Club in the vast city of Shenzhen! As one half of Manhooker, he was featured on LUV011, and with his solo project Guiddo, he scored a fantastic release on Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space imprint. Everything Guiddo does, he does in style, and this mix is no exception. When producer Tomasz “Guiddo” Switala and vocalist Sebastian “Mavin” Magassouba join forces in the studio or on stage, they go by the witty yet catchy name Manhooker. They have a remarkable reputation in Europe’s music capital Berlin where they performed in the fabled Berghain and successively released on Ostgut Ton’s sublabel Unterton. Luv Shack Records aquired one of their tracks for upcoming release LUV011 and in the wake of this collaboration we asked the duo for a contribution to the Luvcast mix series. What we got is a wonderful ride through Manhooker`s musical cosmos: hip-house classics, disco/hip-hop jams, acid and deep house.
