Today, we're listening to the first episode of Skyline Drive, It's Supposed to Be Fun. When Mangesh Hattikudur (Part-Time Genius, Humans Growing Stuff) set out to do a big, sweeping show on astrology, he didn't realize the first interview would change the course of his life. But as he tries to put his world back together, he realizes the incredible ways astrology presents itself in modern society: from NASA employees who keep their belief in astrology in the closet, to world leaders who've used astrologers to guide foreign policy, to moneyball statisticians who use astrology more than statistics to build baseball teams, to a little shop in India where your fortune was written for you centuries ago, and is waiting for you to come claim it. Over the course of 8 episodes, Mangesh tries to decipher why we keep looking to the stars for answers, and what happens when you don't believe in astrology, but astrology keeps happening to you.Site: https://www.kaleidoscope.nyc/Twitter: https://mobile.twitter.com/kscope_nycHere are all the ways to get in touch & get involved in Adela and Lauren's projects:Recommend a podcast to feature on Feed the Queue:Email Feed the Queue at feedthequeue@gmail.com Leave a message at 1-844-POD-AT-ME to submit your podcast recommendationLauren on TwitterAdela on TwitterPodcast Brunch Club: website | newsletter | join a chapter | Facebook Group | twitter | instagramTink Media: website | twitter | instagram | Podcast The Newsletter | Podcast Marketing Magic This episode is sponsored by Ventures FM, which helps businesses, universities, non-profits, and individuals utilize the power of audio to reach their target audiences.

Imagine having a job where your mission every day was to encourage people to GROW!  To go outside in the backyard, walk barefoot in the grass, and sink their hands in the soil to plant a garden.  That is exactly what John gets to do as VP, Chief Creative Officer for the incredible lawn and garden brands at Scotts Miracle-Gro. A 17-year veteran of SMG, John oversees the development, production and execution of all consumer facing messaging for the brands of Scotts, Miracle-Gro, Bonnie, Ortho, Tomcat and more.  Over the past couple years, the marketing world has taken notice of the campaigns and work coming out of SMG, recognized by AdAge in 2020 as one of America's Hottest Brands, taking top honors from iHeartMedia for the successful launch of a new gardening podcast (Humans Growing Stuff), and even stepped onto the world's biggest stage by airing the company's first ever Super Bowl commercial in February 2021. Outside of Scotts, John loves to volunteer his time to serve on the Board of The 2nd & 7 Foundation, and recently as a member of the Upper Arlington Civic Association.  In 2017, he was recognized by Columbus Business First as one of the Top 40 Under 40 honorees.
