    Ivy Insights

The Part-Time Genius podcast is an incredibly entertaining and educational show that delves into random bits of trivia and expands on them in a fun and engaging way. The charismatic hosts, Will and Mango, along with their always interesting guests, have a way of hooking listeners and keeping them obsessed with the show. Since discovering the podcast in April, I have become completely hooked and consider it to be one of the best podcasts I've ever listened to.

One of the best aspects of The Part-Time Genius podcast is its focus on random trivia. Each episode explores a unique topic or theme and provides fascinating facts and stories that are both entertaining and educational. The hosts have a gentle and lighthearted approach that makes it enjoyable for listeners of any age. Their positive attitudes and cheerful demeanor remind us that there are good, smart people in the world. Additionally, the show's ability to provide a distraction from everyday stress while still being informative is highly valued.

However, one downside to this podcast is its infrequency of new episodes. Some loyal listeners express their desire for more frequent uploads as they miss hearing from Will and Mango regularly. While the quality of each episode is undoubtedly high, the long gaps between releases can make it difficult for fans to consistently engage with the show.

In conclusion, The Part-Time Genius podcast is an outstanding resource for those seeking light-hearted yet educational content. With its focus on random trivia and charismatic hosts like Will and Mango, it has gained a devoted following of obsessed fans like myself. While some may wish for more regular uploads, there's no denying that this podcast offers a unique blend of entertainment and knowledge that keeps listeners coming back for more. Overall, it's an absolute must-listen for anyone who loves learning new things while being thoroughly entertained.

I was born in Karachi, Pakistan, in 1990, and always knew that Pakistan used to be a part of India. However, it wasn't until my first trip back to my home country in 2017 that I found out the devastating truth at an exhibit at the mall. Learning about partition inspired me to dig into the subject more, especially because I have no recollection of learning about it in school, and neither my parents or relatives ever spoke to me about it. It all started when Britain decided they could no longer afford to control India. They granted them independence and announced that a new country, Pakistan would also be formed. They severed the country in such a way that friends and neighbors became enemies and murderers.  All facts said in the podcast are true and accurate, but I will be providing anecdotes and commentary as they relate to my discovery and research of Partition. The development of COVID-19 vaccines, questions about mRNA technology, equitable distribution, and uncertainty about the long-term effects aren't the only factors fueling vaccine hesitancy amongst African Americans: a history of harmful studies, medical malpractice, and health care inequities continues to impact the community today. In this first episode of Covid-19 Immunity In Our Community, host Robin Roberts chats with Sandra Lindsay, the first American and first Black American to receive the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, and Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith, COVID-19 Equity Task Force Chair in the Biden administration, about how we can start to rebuild the Black community's trust in the vaccines, in order to achieve herd immunity and, hopefully, regain some sense of normalcy in our everyday lives. It's not just a matter of food. It's a matter of nutrition. If Nutrition is the most powerful determinant of health, then why do over 40 million Americans have trouble putting food on the table? If access to nutritious food is required for optimal growth and development, how do we safeguard our children's future by addressing hidden hunger in our communities? The good news is that organizations are shifting focus, adopting new policies and programs to promote healthier, more balanced lifestyles, especially for those facing real hunger.   On the first Episode of Force Multiplier join Baratunde as he sits with two leaders working across disciplines and sectors to solve nutrition insecurity. Gita Rampersad, Vice President at Feeding America, shares how the country's largest hunger relief organization is working to provide communities across the country with access to nutritious food. Dr. Kyla Johnson-Trammell, Superintendent of the Oakland Unified School District describes how an unexpected partnership between an NBA All-Star family, a passionate Spanish Chef and a committed community delivered 15 million meals to families in need, creating a new model for how cross-sector partnerships can tackle our most pressing issues.
