We pay our respects to the late Chadwick Boseman and discuss if marvel should continue with a sequel. Special guess this week. We're joined by our favorite barber and long time friend, Camp of Platinum Cutts. We discuss his life as a barber, what it's like to be the “new guy” in a barbershop, and why he doesn't believe in discounts. We get into Meg's freestyle how she seems to be contradicting herself, relationship questions, and of course rapid fire. Special thanks to @campfye for coming in and choppin' it up with us. This episode is about my recent outing seeing Top Dawg Entertainment's own, Jay Rock, live on his solo tour, my experience there and the surprise guest I had the pleasure of finally seeing (41:30). Of course it's not a proper episode if I don't give my thoughts on some of the recent music bits like Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson breaking up or Drake and Pusha T's continuous quarrel (5:05). So "knock it off" and just give the show a listen SUCKA! Wanna share your thoughts & opinions on the recent news, Jay Rock, other concerts, etc.? Talking about the Rocketmaaaaannn! That's right. This week's episode featured my review seeing Sir Elton John live for the third time on his (alleged) farewell tour before he retires from performing (44:20). Alongside that, we also have some recent music news from topics such as the controversy around rapper Vic Mensa's words about the late XXXTENTACION to Lana Del Rey threatening Azealia Banks and even Shaggy 2 Dope of ICP trying to dropkick Fred Durst??? You'll just have to hear it for yourself (6:30). Why are you still reading this? Hit that play button and listen! What's your opinion on some of this news? No music news this week. September 28th was a big day for album releases alone to talk about. Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter V" finally dropped along with Logic's newest album, legendary rap group Cypress Hill's new album did as well and so did several other rap projects. Me and my dad had a listening session that weekend and covered most of them. So I give my opinions on some of the ones I was looking forward to and which I thought was the best of the bunch (5:20). Then we get into the center of this week's episode: my experience seeing one of my favorite actors, writers, comics, musicians, etc., Mr. Donald Glover a.k.a. Childish Gambino, on his (alleged) farewell tour (50:53). So relax, grab a snack and listen to what should be a fun and enjoyable episode. Did you listen to any of the albums that dropped on 9/28? Which was your fav? Are you a fan of Donald Glover/Childish Gambino? Have you seen him live? Let's talk about all of this and more on my Twitter, IG & Snapchat: @ghostdawgydawg --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
This week's episode is a lot more simple. Starting the show off with the little bit of music news I could gather such as the controversy of next year's Super Bowl Halftime Show and Lil Xan? (4:08) Then I get into my review of one of Paul Simon's last shows on his farewell tour into retirement (37:10). Sit back, grab you a cold one and a snack and just enjoy this week's show. What do you think of the Halftime Show mess or the other news I discussed? Are you fan or Paul Simon? Ever seen him live? One of the biggest tours of the year covered right here on the premiere podcast that covers live concerts! You read that correct. This week I am talking about my recent experience at the Drake and Migos co-headlining tour (43:15). Of course I also get into to some of the recent music news including my take on Eminem's response to MGK with the track "Killshot" and the beef as a whole along with other topics such as Kanye's recently announced upcoming new projects and The Carter V debacle (5:00). "Okay, so you have a podcast". That's what I think the "Queen of Country Pop" Miss Twain herself would say if I told her about this episode. In this episode, I'm gonna let you guys know what I thought about her and tour in support of her fifth studio album, "Now". Did she "win my love" with this show? Listen to find out. I also run through some recent music news and projects I've heard and recommend. Back to talking about live shows! This week I give you my experience witnessing the voice of one of the most popular singers out right now, the talented Sam Smith. This is coming off the Harry Styles episode for several reasons: 1) Harry Styles is a former boy band member 2) I've always enjoyed boy bands [ya boy even wanted to be in one when he was a kid] and 3) I know my shit. This is who I consider to be the 10 best that stand the test of time so far. The 10 who we still sing out loud to, know every dance move of and have favorite albums by. So grab your cherished t-shirt, doll or that towel of sweat you caught from AJ at the "Into The Millennium" tour that you still have and let's see who of the dudes we unashamedly still listen to that got us through our youths had the stronger career and impact. This is dedicated to the ones who have a favorite bad boy or even just know the name of the guy that didn't get many solos in songs. DISCLAIMER: Of course, this is just my personal opinion of who I think are the 10 best. This is not the defining list. Feel free to make your own and send it to me @: Twitter, IG & Snapchat: @ghostdawgydawg --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app

We then go into recent some music releases I’ve heard, my thoughts on them and then I proceed to go over my “interesting” experience at a Harry Styles concert. We're talking about one of the best selling bands in history on this episode. I had the privilege to see U2 recently on BOTH nights they were in town for their "eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE" tour. So join me as I recap my "eXPERIENCE" and just my history and opinion of the band itself. It might sound 'better than the real thing" *wink wink*. I also start the episode by giving my take on the recent passing of rapper XXXTENTACION and some of this past week's recent music releases. This is my longest ep so far, so here's the time stamps for those who rather skip around: XXXTENTACION death (5:50) New Music talk (20:12) U2 talk (45:43) U2 criticism/My history with U2 (49:00) U2 concert talk (1:03:09) U2's sociopolitical awareness/artists speaking out (1:09:40) Concert breakdown/review (1:33:00) Geneva Ayala's (XXX's ex/victim) Go Fund Me: https://www.gofundme.com/2ubv19w Follow me here @ these ----- Twitter, IG & Snapchat: @ghostdawgydawg --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
