Four days on, and Slipknot still haven't said a word about Sid Wilson. Scott Penfold breaks down where the story actually stands: the single anonymous TMZ source it all rests on, Jim Root telling fans to stop and think — and the song he chose to play underneath it — Mick Thomson's wife Stacy openly mocking the rumour mill, Sid's only post being a merch ad, and the Los Angeles studio doorstep where he was asked point blank and said nothing. Plus Sharon Osbourne confirms a film of Back To The Beginning arrives this year featuring every band who played, and Ozzfest returns in 2027 at Villa Park in Birmingham — which quietly inverts what Ozzfest has been for thirty years. And Megadeth announce Breakout: Hibernation Of The Nations, a 24-date European arena farewell opening March 9, 2027 in Belfast and closing April 13 in Lisbon, with Black Label Society and Testament on the entire run. Off the back of the first number one album of their career — on the seventeenth and final record. Full write-ups on all three at LoadedRadio.com. Sigh, alas it must be so. Our resigned hosts react to the series win against the Brewers: a dominant game one, a game two that shall not be mentioned, and a head smacking game three. Then, for the third to last time, they discuss the trade deadline asking: should the Giants scratch Robbie Ray event without a trade? Given the Casey Schmitt injury, should they keep Arraez after all? And who would you be most surprised to see traded? On the cocktail side of things, today Ben is drinking a Death & Taxes while Matthew is drinking Squonk's Tears. Recipes below. Death & Taxes1 oz Gin1 oz Blended Scotch Whisky3/4 oz Amaro or Vermouth1/4 oz Benedictine2 dashes Orange bittersCombine the ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir to your desired dilution. This episode of The Other Side of the Bell, featuring trumpet performer, ensemble leader and recording artist CJ Camerieri, is brought to you by Bob Reeves Brass. This episode also appears as a video episode on our YouTube channel, you can find it here: "CJ Camerieri Trumpet Interview" And, find the expanded show notes, transcript and more photos here --- "If you want to have a career in this, you have to know why you're the right person to call, and why you have a skill set that's exactly right for this particular thing. It's hard to make a living at it if they can just hire a different person and pay 'em less." - CJ Camerieri Julliard grad, Grammy winner, collaborator with Bon Iver, Paul Simon, Rufus Wainwright, Sufjan Stevens, Ben Folds, Bruce Hornsby and so many more, CJ Camerieri is the personification of passion: starting piano lessons at 4 years old and never looking back. But it's one thing to be music-obsessed from childhood, it's another to forge a successful, sustainable career in a cutthroat industry. Our conversation today is a fascinating and introspective look into the the business side of music: the back end, the royalties, the songwriting credits, the mindset and the versatility required to succeed and thrive. For CJ, this has meant being adaptable, embracing different styles of music, being open to change and doing things that others may be less interested in. But also, always, doing it for joy, not just a paycheque. You'll rarely meet someone more passionate about trying new things and taking on new challenges. Hence the formation in 2008 of yMusic, "A chamber ensemble with a unique mission: to work on both sides of the classical/popular music divide, without sacrificing rigor, virtuosity, charisma or style." The threads of yMusic are woven throughout our conversation today. Transitioning to a new music scene can reignite your passion, while touring teaches practical lessons about maintaining your craft. CJ will inspire you with his insight and innovation! About CJ Camerieri: Since graduating from The Juilliard School in 2004 with a degree in Classical Trumpet Performance, CJ Camerieri has become an esteemed artist, songwriter, producer, and an indispensable collaborator for some of the most important artists of our time. Camerieri is a two-time Grammy award winner (Best New Artist, 2011 and Best Alternative Album, 2011) and a co-founder of the acclaimed contemporary classical sextet yMusic (who the New Yorker has called "six contemporary classical polymaths who playfully overstep the boundaries of musical genres"). Camerieri has toured the world as a core member of Paul Simon's band since 2013 and with artists such as Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Ben Folds, Plastic Ono Band, and Sting, among many others. He has contributed to over 300 recordings and has commissioned over 100 new works of chamber music featuring the trumpet, including pieces by Andrew Norman, Gabriella Smith, Nico Muhly, Marcos Balter, Ryan Lott, and Missy Mazzoli. In 2021 Camerieri debuted his solo project CARM, which was highlighted by performances on The Colbert Show and Tiny Desk Concert. For Paul Simon's "Farewell Tour" in 2018, Camerieri brought yMusic into Simon's touring band. This resulted in contemporary classical arrangements of the artist's iconic songs being performed in arenas around the world, as well as in featured performances on Saturday Night Live and The Colbert Show. His trio project, Heavy MakeUp, featuring himself, Edie Brickell, and Trever Hagen just released their second full length record on Sony Records. Camerieri is also an accomplished French Horn player, keyboardist, arranger, composer, and improviser—comfortable in all styles and genres of music. In addition, Camerieri has held numerous chairs on Broadway; played principal trumpet with orchestras such as Orpheus, The Knights, and Orchestra of St. Lukes; and has written arrangements for many types of ensembles on countless recordings and performances. This week, we're scratching The Itch for an ending! For the past 13 years, '68 has blessed the world with their unique brand of chaotic, avant-garde, two-man noise rock. This year, Josh Scogin and Nikko Yamada announced that the time had come to close the book on the band. After releasing their final album, They Are Survived, the band embarked on their Farewell Tour. The Itch wasn't able to see them on that tour, but fortunately our friends were! For the first time ever, we're bringing in Itch correspondents in the form of our Shiprocked friends Claire and Jacob to talk about their experience seeing multiple shows on '68's final run, including the grand finale at The Masquerade in the band's hometown of Atlanta. Join us for a celebration of the commitment, emotion, and drum kit deconstruction that made up the life and times of the great '68. Plus, while this episode covered a band's final show, stay tuned for a preview of an episode coming later this week that completes the circle of life by exploring an exciting new band's first show... ever. The Division Preview series rolls on with what might be the NFL's most fascinating division: the AFC North. Can Aaron Rodgers and Mike McCarthy recapture the magic in Pittsburgh, or is the Steelers' reunion tour doomed from the start? Are Lamar Jackson and the Ravens one piece away from a Super Bowl run—or one injury away from disaster? Joe Burrow says this is the best Bengals roster since LSU's legendary title team, but is it Super Bowl or bust in Cincinnati? And in Cleveland, is it finally time to hand the keys to Shedeur Sanders? This week, the boys break down every team's biggest question, predict the over/unders, and unleash some scorching hot takes—including a monster season for Rodgers and DK Metcalf, a potential Bengals playoff miss despite a healthy Burrow, and plenty of quarterback chaos across the division.Expect bold predictions, spirited debate, and the kind of banter that only Any Given Sunday Australia can deliver.

Cristiano Ronaldo Biography Flash a weekly Biography. Cristiano Ronaldo's last few days have been a whirlwind that perfectly captures a late-career icon balancing legacy, emotion, and global spotlight. At the 2026 World Cup in North America, he finally scored his **first-ever World Cup knockout-round goal**, equalizing against Croatia in Portugal's dramatic 2–1 win, a milestone widely highlighted by Fox Sports as closing a long, unlikely gap in his otherwise historic scoring record. Fox Sports and BBC Sport show him later stepping out onto a Toronto hotel balcony with teammates, celebrating with thousands of fans in scenes that feel more like a farewell tour than just another match, reinforcing the sense that we are watching the final chapters of his international career. In post-match comments reported by Bolavip, Ronaldo said his **decision on his Portugal future will be made after the 2026 World Cup**, stressing that he does not make “reckless decisions.” That carefully worded hint will be biographically significant: it frames this tournament as a pivot point, not just another campaign. ESPN FC pundits have already dissected Portugal's ability to “snatch victory without Cristiano Ronaldo” when he was substituted, underlining the tactical and symbolic shift toward life after CR7. Emotion has defined this period too. A viral clip shared by FIFA's social channels and other outlets shows Ronaldo honoring his late teammate Diogo Jota by holding a Portugal jersey with the number 21 before the Croatia match, a poignant ritual that links his story to grief and memory rather than just trophies. Separate coverage from Al Jazeera and Fabrizio Romano's TikTok feed documents Ronaldo sending an uplifting video message and invitation to Andrés Mieles, a young Venezuelan earthquake survivor who lost his leg and parents in the June 24 disaster. Far beyond routine charity, that direct outreach and invitation to attend one of his games will likely stand as a notable chapter in his humanitarian image. On the business and social side, the Daily Telegraph and other business commentators again spotlight his estimated 200-million-dollar “side hustle” empire under the **CR7 brand**, from footwear and fashion to hotels and gyms, amplified by a social media following nearing 670 million across platforms. Recent Instagram campaigns pushing his CR7 footwear line and luxury lifestyle content indicate that, even as his on-pitch minutes are more carefully managed, the off-field brand machine is accelerating, suggesting a long-term trajectory where Ronaldo the mogul gradually eclipses Ronaldo the striker. Some fan chatter on Reddit and TikTok speculates this Croatia match could be his final World Cup appearance, but Ronaldo himself has not confirmed retirement, and reputable outlets emphasize only that his decision will come after the tournament, making any “last game” talk still speculative rather than fact. That's your snapshot in the Cristiano Ronaldo Biography Flash: goals that complete a World Cup chapter, emotional tributes, direct humanitarian action, and a business empire surging as the clock ticks on an extraordinary international career. Thank you for listening, and make sure you subscribe so you never miss an update on Cristiano Ronaldo, and search the term Biography Flash for more great biographies. Thanks for listening.
