In this episode of Sober is Dope, we discuss the difficult topic of relapse and provide practical tips for getting back on track with sobriety after consuming alcohol. From seeking support to avoiding triggers, we offer insights to help you navigate this challenging time and continue on your journey toward recovery. Join us as we explore the ups and downs of sobriety and celebrate the power of perseverance and self-care. If you have relapsed and consumed alcohol after a period of sobriety, it's important to take action to get back on track with your recovery. Here are some tips to help you sober up after a relapse: Acknowledge the relapse and forgive yourself. Remember that setbacks are a normal part of the recovery process. Seek support from your therapist, support group, or trusted loved ones. They can offer non-judgmental support and guidance. Avoid triggers that may have led to the relapse. This may mean avoiding certain social situations or people who may encourage you to drink. Refocus on your recovery goals and the reasons why you chose to get sober in the first place. Make a plan for moving forward, including steps you can take to prevent future relapses. Practice self-care by getting enough rest, eating well, and engaging in exercise or other physical activities that you enjoy. Take steps to manage stress and anxiety, such as through mindfulness techniques, journaling, or deep breathing exercises. Attend therapy or counseling sessions to address any underlying emotional issues that may have contributed to the relapse. Seek out support from others who have experienced relapse and learn from their experiences. Consider medication-assisted treatment options under the guidance of a healthcare professional. Celebrate small victories and progress towards your recovery goals. Stay committed to your recovery and remember that sobriety is a journey, not a destination. Understand that relapse is not a failure and that it's never too late to get back on track with your recovery. Be patient with yourself and trust the process of recovery. --- Send in a voice message: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/soberisdope/message

Today Jeannine speaks with Scott Gerard aka Gumpy her best friend of nearly 30 years and man of honor in her wedding. Gump was present and a witness at an event where Jeannine was using before anyone knew what was really going on. And there are things that cost money. And the most important number you need to know is 14 for it's how many minutes you have in the day, as a human, you got to eat, you got to sleep, you got to shit and you got to spend some time with people you care about. Outside of those four things you get to allocate where you're spending those minutes. And the the lower you are in business, the more of those minutes you're gonna have What's your most valuable currency, it's not your dollars in your pocket, it's your time where you allocate those minutes in the beginning of your business, you're gonna find you're trying to earn your minutes back and you can do that with money." - David "He said one thing to me, one out of the two things, the first one that stuck with me, he's like, you know, back in 2016, when people were talking about growing their business and all these online courses and live events, he goes, Yeah, I went to all that shit. And I'm not saying anything about anybody else. But while everybody else just kept learning more about it, I actually went out and did the shit. I actually just did it. He's like, it's not rocket science. And then another thing he said to me, which was powerful asides from, you know, him just taking the action and taking the risk was, he said, you know, Keith, what I've done, because you've built two multimillion dollar businesses, you said, 1000s and 1000s of people have done this before me. It's not like I'm the first person to invent the wheel, bro. Like, people have figured this shit out." - Keith Connect with David Website: https://www.dopemarketing.com/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/DopeMktg/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/dopemktg/ Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwhQCqt3WGZN-skFCnvE2RA Connect with Keith Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/keithkalfas/ Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thelandscapingemployeetrap Website: https://www.keithkalfas.com/resources Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/@keith-kalfas Resouces and Websites:

MC5 embodied revolution in a way most bands only pay lip service to. The Detroit cops sent riot squads and even a tank to break up their shows, and even raided their house. They were the only band to play at the infamous protest outside the 1968 Democratic National Convention. Their radical manager, John Sinclair, wrote manifestos allying with the Black Panthers and declaring rock ‘n' roll THE vehicle for revolution. But by the 1970s, all that idealism curdled into the classic story of broken record deals, drugs, crime, and jail, with redemption only possible through personal, not political, revolution.
