One of my favorite things is to see is when a friend keys into their passion. This has been the case with my friend and repeat guest, Nina Manni. She left her comedy career behind when she realized it wasn't making her happy. What DID make her happy was traveling all over the world for CHEAP, but doing it well. Once she figured out how to do it, she wanted to help others do it too. She's got some great tips for everyone! Here are some of the links to the other things we discuss: Nina's course to help you learn about miles/points. Shoutouts to HK Fitnessdoing the Snatched program created by Mark Fisher Fitness. This is probably one of the best episodes yet. First, I made a new show open! Since the show has evolved to chats about all types of reality programming I thought I could use a new show open. I love it and hope you do, too! This episode is amaze. I've listened to it three times already and I never do that. Nina Manni and Teddy Margas are stand up comics, writers, actors, and producers. They also did audience warm up on Fashion Police and the stories they tell about Joan are amazing. I wish we could turn back time and tell her not to have surgery or to choose a different doctor. When you listen to this episode, you are guaranteed to miss Joan and her comedy and you'll realize she was the last of a breed of comedian--- someone who was present, caring, hard working, and absolutely hilarious. Cheese thieves, go kart police chases and North Carolina's idiotic government are all discussed on this week's show.
Shame is something I've struggled with in my own life. I wasn't always as brave or as honest as I should've been in situations where I felt shame. So, I decided to talk with one of the most shame-less women I know, Nina Manni. She's a stand up comedian, proud feminist, and obsessive fan of the The Bachelor franchises. Nina shared how her experience growing up the kid of a convicted felon helped her become the kind of adult who does not suffer fools. Next, I talked shame with Jenelle Riley. She's a fancy editor of a little publication called Variety, and she hosts PBS' Actors On Actors for which she won an Emmy. An Emmy! Yet this crazy smart and successful woman is often fat shamed. We talked about the craziness of online trolls, and she let me hold her Emmy!
Dildo mattress imprints, Trump manure graffiti and naked police brawls are all the topics dabbled on in this week's show.
Nina sat down us to discuss growing up in Philly with her Jewish mother and her beloved and criminal Italian father. Enter in family friends like "Nick the Greek" and various other characters and she paints us a fascinating picture of her world and what it was like to lose her dad. Listen and Mourn!

Don't worry and don't say a word, because Abuela's going to save the day! For crying outloud, never google your parents! What do El Negro Marcello and Nick the Greek have in common? They'll peel off and give you some bills, when your Ma ain't looking. Comic Nina Manni drops by and talks about her experiences growing up as the daughter of a notorious Philly meth dealer.
