This week, Phil Rood is back to talk about a movie he's never seen. It's 1993's Only the Strong, starring Mark Dacascos. The story of a Green Beret coming back to his old high school to find it run down, and the neighborhood overrun by drug dealers. He sets out to help some of the kids at the school by teaching them a Afro-Brazilian martial art called Capoeira. Why didn't it launch the career of Mark Dacascos? Is this actually any good? Or should this one stay in the early 90s? Let's find out...Thanks go out to Audie Norman (@TheAudieNorman) for the album art. It's time for our last movie selection of this season: 2020's Vampires vs. the Bronx. Given the film's references (both intentional and unintentional) to other Kids on Bikes movies, it turns out this is the perfect film to wrap up our Kids on Bikes season. Rafe and Drew talk about the movie and then revisit some past ideas of how to best gamify the film for use at your gaming table. Oh, and there's the most dramatic draft pick of the season in here, for those who like that part of the show. Hopefully you'll find some content in here for use at your own gaming table. If so, please let us know! You can interact with the show on Instagram and Twitter or email us at theneversaydiepodcast@gmail.com. With Better Call Saul having wrapped its final season and found its way to Netflix, I knew I needed to have Phil Rood back in the guest chair again to discuss the series. There are spoilers for Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad, and El Camino. Phil returns and we immediately dive into the last season of Better Call Saul. We talk about the final season, the characters story arcs, what worked, and what didn't, along with the multiple timelines that Better Call Saul dealt with. We discuss the series as a whole as well, and compare and contrast it to Breaking Bad. We discuss possible spin-offs (I came up with a great one, but it's not do-able), the order one should watch the two series, and then say goodbye to our favorite (and not so favorite) people in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It's week two of Cage-A-Palooza 2022, and boy did Travis and Phil Rood watch an interesting one. Directed by Werner Herzog, is it a sequel to the 1992 Harvey Keitel movie? A spiritual successor? Or did some producer just decide they wanted that title because it was a movie about a corrupt cop. Either way, it was something. Thanks go out to Audie Norman (@OddlyNormalOne) for the album art. For two years, we've reviewed movies as "Father and Son... with a splash of gay", and today we celebrate two years of that dynamic. In this episode, we talk about what we've gotten from doing the show, how we've grown as podcasters, and the movies that have stood out to us over the past four seasons. ... and speaking of four seasons, they also discuss the 4th Season of Netflix's Stranger Things. They talk about what they love and what they hate about the show, why they keep watching, and the new life that songs are experiencing as a result of the show... Finally, we talk about our plans for Season 5 and why we're looking forward to that so much. Thank you to everyone who has listened to us ramble on about movies, tv, and whatever other tangents we have gone on over the past two years of us occupying our little corner of the podcast space. Whether you've listened for one episode or every one, whether you like Phil looking too deep into a movie or Austin reading promo copy, we see you, we appreciate you, and we love that you invite us into your ears and minds. We love our community of listeners, and the community of podcasters and creators around us where we have found so much support, encouragement, and respect. Thanks so much to all of you. -Austin & Phil Rood

You Did This to Us again here at Movie-Go-Round, so we had to watch the Sandra Bullock-Ryan Reynolds rom-com The Proposal. Neither Nicole, David, nor guest Phil Rood had seen this film in its entirety before, which was not a lack that any of us had perceived as a problem previously.
