Welcome to Christ Community Church of Wilmington NC. We are committed to teaching the Bible, transforming lives, and touching our world.
God requires His people to love Him with their whole being. But that's not all. We should also love others who are made in His image. This is something we can only do through His empowerment.

We all have strengths and weaknesses. We have preferences and areas we feel more comfortable in than others. But the danger of only spending time on our strengths, our preferences, and in our comfort zone is that we stop growing and we limit our capacity for growth. In this message, Pastor Scott Savage kicks off our "All of You" series by teaching us how following Jesus requires all of you and transforms all of you. This first message on the Great Commandment is a thoughtful and challenging introduction to what it means to love God with all of our heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Pastor Dave Walt continues with Part 44 of the current series that is an epic journey through the New Testament Gospel of Mark, verse by verse. The book of Mark was most likely the first one written, and is generally attributed to John Mark, a close associate of Peter, and also of Paul and Barnabas. The Gospel of Mark is all about Jesus and the good news (Gospel) of the kingdom of God. Who was Jesus really, and why exactly did he come? Last week Pastor Marc covered the Sadducees challenge to the resurrection of the dead. In today's message Pastor Dave explains Jesus' answer to the question “Which commandment is the most important of all?” If you would like to view the video of today's service, as well as previous videos, go to: https://www.facebook.com/northridgelife/videos/ (copy and paste into your web browser address bar). In Mark 12, we read about a scribe who asks Jesus about the most important commandment. As Jesus answered the scribe, He emphasized the greatest commandment in Mark 12:29-31. Listen as Pastor Jeremy unpacks this passage: 1. The Theology – Our One God 2. The Implication – We love God by loving others How do we love others well? 1. Honor others with your words. Use your tongue and your thumbs (online comments) to edify others. 2. Let go of anger and do not let it fester. It’s hard to show love when you’re angry. 3. Watch out for pride – be willing to admit your mistakes and confess. Practice confession as a way to show love to others.

His reign isn’t measured by how many people serve Him but by how many He serves. "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Mark 10:45 (NLT)
