The Book of Revelation culminates with Jesus Christ declaring He is coming back to this earth and giving all humanity a specific call and warning. This passage will reveal if you are really ready for Christ’s return.
All that remains is for John to bring the Revelation to a close, and he does so by affirming the truthfulness and the relevance of all we've seen.

Sunday, December 11, 2022 - We are finishing up our study on Revelation 22, emphasizing the last words spoken to humanity by God. Consistent with our expectations, words spoken at the end of life or the end of time as we know it is typically pretty important. John the Revelator has been given powerful visions and messages by angels and Jesus Himself of all the glorious things in store for the faithful. And in the midst of it all, God is still calling out to people to choose Him over the things of the enemy. It is the prayer of this pastor that all would choose to make the necessary arrangements in one's spiritual life to spend eternity in fellowship with God the Heavenly Father. There will come a time when the era of Grace will be over; choose wisely now while the opportunity exists... Remember, the BEST IS YET TO COME!!

Does the eschatological end of the gospel register with your Christian walk? The apostle John challenges us to establish our Christian witness by our looking forward to the Lord's return and by living faithfully until that day.

The end of Revelation - a section of invitation - closes out with the message: "Jesus is coming quickly." This doesn't so much mean He's coming tomorrow or the next day, although He could, but rather when He comes, it will be quick. Instantaneous. We need to be ready, and Jesus invites anyone who would hear His words to turn from sin and wait for Him. We are also told that as we are found, so shall we be eternally. Change won't be possible after he comes. Found dirty, we'll be dirty forever and cast into hell. Found clean, we'll be with Him forever in heaven. Jesus is the first and last and completes everything. To love Him is to obey Him.

Sermon on Revelation 22:6-21
Last words are significant. What will be God’s last words to His covenant people in His Holy Word? Revelation 22:6-21 contains God’s last word. As the hymn “How Firm a Foundation” says, “What more can He say than to you He hath said; To you who for refuge to Jesus hath fled?” We have the witness of creation, the witness of the Bible, the witness of Israel and the Church, and the witness of the Gospel. We are without excuse if we do not run to Jesus as Savior and Lord. We find a Trinitarian presentation of the mind of God in His final words of Holy Scripture. I. The Faithful Word of God the Father – Revelation 22:6-10 II. The Finished Work of Christ the Son – Revelation 22:11-16 III. The Final Witness of God the Spirit – Revelation 22:17-21
