Jesus Christ is coming again, and the proper response is not fear or endless date-setting, but to stay grounded in Scripture, watch and pray, help others find redemption, remain faithful, and live every day ready to meet Him.   This sermon is a strong call to live ready for the return of Jesus Christ. The pastor connects Jesus' teaching in Luke 21 with the biblical feasts, especially the Feast of Trumpets, and with Paul's teaching on the resurrection and rapture. Jesus' return to earth is still future.  There will also be events that happen before He comes again.  There is a "man of lawlessness" or the anti-christ that is mentioned.  He will sit on the temple of God as if he were God.  Daniel 9:23-27 & Matt. 24:15-22 are also discussed.

Bible Prophecy Under the Microscope-Episode 93 Gary takes a closer look at Acts 1:11, which is often pointed to as proof that Jesus will return exactly as He left during the Ascension. Most futurists use this verse to show that Jesus will return in His physical body because that would be necessary in order to fulfill "just in the same way" He went away. The problem is that this Greek phrase is translated differently in other parts of the NT.
