Simon Malkenes er kjent for de fleste skolefolk vil jeg tro. Han skrev boka “Livet bak fasaden i Osloskolen” i 2014. Han har jobbet på Ulsrud videregående skole i Oslo. Var på Dagsnytt 18, 2018, egentlig for å diskutere fritt skolevalg, men så ble det rabalder i steden.Malkenes ga ut boka “Det store skoleeksperimentet. Makt, barn og forretningshemmeligheter i 'verdens beste skole'” i 2018.Og så fikk han Fritt Ords honnør i mai 2018 for “hans kritiske søkelys på manglende ytringskultur i Oslo-skolen”. Nå er han sentralstyremedlem i Utdanningsforbundet og jobber på en doktorgrad. I denne episoden bruker vi ytringsfriheten vår begge to.
