Winchester Thurston basketball player, Jackson Juzang, joins the podcast to talk about his progression as a basketball player, and his life. This episode focus is on Judaism and today’s guests are Keshira HaLev Fife and Scott Tobe. Judaism is defined as: the totality of beliefs and practices of the Jewish people, as given by God and recorded in the Torah, and subsequent sacred writings. According to a recent study of the greater Pittsburgh region, there are approximately 50,000 Jews residing in the area that make up 2% of the population with 26% living in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood. Our guests today will share about their faith, beliefs and practices. Keshira HaLev Fife is a Hebrew Priestess, who sprinkles sparkles, disrupts expectations, and offers blessings wherever she goes. In service to the Divine Feminine, to her bright and benevolent ancestors, and to those whose are coming up after her, she serves as a community weaver, reclaiming ancient practices in ways that are resonant and relevant in the modern day. She pours love and intention into her work as a community shepherdess, liturgist, songstress, public speaker and writer. Keshira is a native of Pittsburgh. She is a graduate of Winchester Thurston, and earned a BS in Social History, an MS in Public Policy and Management at Carnegie Mellon University. She was ordained as a Hebrew Priestess in 2017. Scott Tobe, President & Managing Partner, Signature Financial Planning Scott Tobe has served as president and managing partner of Signature Financial Planning since 2006.
