God promises he will watch over us. The theme of watching – God never sleeps; he is shade; He will keep you for harm - watch over coming and going – to eternity. Extrapolate to watching over our nation.

God promises Rest. Identifying who is weary and burdened; why rest matters; soul rest is physical, but much more: rest from decisions; relationships, thoughts and feelings; To take the yoke means to accept the direction of your master – who is gentle and humble in heart.

God promises love. If God is for us – which is the basic decision of faith; Proofs – he gave his son; Jesus intercedes; nothing stands between God’s love and us.

God promises a future. God regathers his people from exile; God has plans, God listens; When you seek with all your heart, you find God. I will gather you.
