The Case Closed! (old time radio) podcast is an absolute delight for fans of classic radio programs. As someone who always wanted to listen to the old radio programs but didn't know where to start, stumbling upon this podcast was a dream come true. It has quickly become my favorite thing to have on in the background while I'm painting.
One of the best aspects of this podcast is the selection of crime stories and the Hollywood stars who portray the characters. The storytelling is captivating and the performances are top-notch. The host does an excellent job of selecting two great episodes to put together each time, providing a wonderful listening experience.
Another great aspect is that all the classics are played here, and having two episodes in a row is perfect for when you want to lay down and chill out at night. I also appreciate that these treasures from the past are easily accessible through podcasts, making it convenient to introduce them to my kids.
I must admit that one of my favorite detectives introduced through this podcast is Pat Novak from "Pat Novak, For Hire." I would love to see more episodes featuring him. Additionally, while the quality of sound does vary from show to show, overall it's still highly entertaining.
In conclusion, The Case Closed! (old time radio) podcast is a brilliant way to bring retro radio dramas back into our lives. It's a second life for golden age radio and very well done with exciting and suspenseful stories. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone looking for a trip through time and enjoyable entertainment while delving into the past.
