It's the shot we all play for: that big, fluffy, juicy floater hanging in the air, begging to be put away. So why do so many players blow it? In this episode, Michael O'Neal and Mircea Morariu dig into one of pickleball's most mismanaged opportunities, the floater, and break down exactly what goes wrong and how to fix it. From collapsing on the space (or as Mircea prefers, pouncing) to limiting your backswing, keeping your arm in your peripheral vision, and aiming at that safe elliptical target in the middle of the court rather than hero-ing it down the line, this episode is packed with technique, drills, and hard-won lessons. Including Michael's very painful memory of a floater that cost him a tournament game at 10-10. Yeah. That one. If you've ever ripped a floater into the net, watched it sail four feet wide, or worse, let it bounce when you had every chance to finish the point, this episode is for you. Esther gives a short review of "The Mandalorian and Grogu," followed by some Jewish-adjacent notes in "Euphoria" and "The Testaments," and the funny thing that happened when the Bagels met up for "The Devil Wears Prada 2." Passover gets a moment to shine on "Friends and Neighbors," as Esther and Erin run through some of the excellent and authentic seder. There's also a reminder to watch out for the theatrical release of "Floaters," and Erin gives high praise to the documentary "Martin Short: Life is Short."

Let's talk about poop, baby. Let's talk about you and me. ...and poop. This week Alice and Doug consider what they'd do for money, share their Christmas gifts, and, perhaps most importantly, discuss some really crappy factoids. And Doug will still not diagnose Alice's incessant flatulence.Get ready for plenty of jenkem, vagus nerves, and dung beetles in this one, folks. Other discussion topics may include:- Would you keep a diarrhy?- How diapers got their name- Floaters vs. Sinkers- Are hand warmers for external use only?- A great reason to stick a piece of transparent tape to your anus before bed
