With drama galore, the past couple of weeks have certainly been a challenge on my health, wellbeing and at times .. sanity! **TRIGGER WARNING** - as always, most of my content on my podcast discusses mental health - anxiety, depression etc. Please note that this episode also discusses gynaecological issues - listener discretion advised. Apologies - this is possibly one of my longest recorded episodes to date! UCM xxx

Con permiso. Misuk: Que descanse.Expresión de la semana멀리 안 나가요

Only through huge dramas we can get connected and opened for a new dimension. When I left the second time my body (with 21) through the wrong treatment of a doctor;-my life changed totally…I became aware of how precious is life and how I had wasted my life through my suffering…How can we connect to God if we have never experienced such hardness in life? Nobody can have real faith in God if he would not be rescued in his worst times of life through God.For sure, we should be worth to get rescued by God.   How many inventions were created through the hardships of people? And then I read these over stupids comments don't be together with a drama magnet…There exist people who run again and again in the same dramas without learning anything from that… We shake our heads and think how stupid these drama magnets are… After some time later we are in a crisis and …. You are a drama magnet?!!!!Instead, we should learn from others crises and our crises. There is always a lesson in any struggle. How boring is a life without drama? We can win only big when we risk big. If we fail hugely, we can learn hugely…I never have seen any great successful person who was never in huge dramas….We should embrace every challenge and be thankful for that. Because only in big challenges we can change to become better. My Video: What is good on our dramas? https://youtu.be/4hzlgsGalgsMy Audio: https://divinesuccess.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/Podcast.B/What-is-good-on-our-dramas..mp3

Así la forma básica sería ‘삐딱선을 타다’.

씩씩하다 significa: valiente, fuerte, firme, enérgico/a.

Marking the centenary of her birth, Donald Macleod delves in to the little known world of 20th century British composer Doreen Carwithen. Doreen Carwithen is one of only a handful of female British composers who worked in the film industry in the 1940s and 1950s. Dramas, mysteries, horror flicks, documentaries, the thirty plus films she scored form a substantial part of her musical legacy. An award winning student, Carwithen first came to critical attention in the concert hall, with the catchily titled ODTAA, One damn thing after another, in 1947. Predictably, newspaper headlines made much of her gender and her youth. She was just 24. It seemed as if a bright future lay ahead, yet, at the beginning of the 1960s Carwithen would stop writing music, a situation which perhaps in part explains why her music dropped off the radar for many years. One hundred years since her birth, Donald Macleod brings to light the little-known yet fascinating story of this 20th century British composer. This week Donald Macleod is joined in conversation by Leah Broad, whose new biography of Carwithen is due out next year. They chart Carwithen's career from the age of five, when she began piano and violin under the guidance of her musical mother, to the moment when she ceased to compose. Music Featured: Men of Sherwood Forest (excerpt), arr Philip Lane Serenade for tenor and piano String Quartet No 1 Concerto for piano and strings Piano sonatina Violin sonata Bishop Rock String Quartet No 1 (2nd mvt) Four Piano Preludes Suffolk suite (1st mvt) Cello sonatina String Quartet No 2 Mantrap Suites, arr Philip Lane Three Cases of Murder, arr Philip Lane East Anglian Holiday, arr Philip Lane Boys in Brown Suite, arr Philip Lane Presented by Donald Macleod Produced by Johannah Smith

This week's guest is a terrific character actor with over thirty years in the industry. A veteran of more than seventy Hollywood movies and hundreds of episodes of television, Donal Logue is the beloved scene-stealer of such films as Sneakers, Blade, and Zodiac, and TV series as Grounded for Life, Sons of Anarchy, Vikings, Gotham, and of course, the great Terriers, which Jed Ayres and I celebrated earlier this year in a full episode. Additionally, the recipient of the Special Jury Prize for Outstanding Acting at the 2000 Sundance Film Festival for the indie favorite The Tao of Steve, Donal also has quite the passion and talent for writing. In 2021, he co-wrote the brilliant New York Times bestseller Trejo: My Life of Crime, Redemption, & Hollywood, along with his good friend Danny Trejo. Currently hard at work on his next book, Donal has just been added to the third season of the popular Queen Latifah CBS series The Equalizer, which I'm looking forward to checking out. Needless to say, he's a very busy guy! Someone I'm honored to have gotten to know after the Terriers episode, Donal has not only become a very good friend but has also consistently given me the best film recommendations, including several that we discuss in this fascinating episode. In a thoughtful roughly two-hour conversation, Donal shares his affection for the gritty, social realism centric tales of the so-called "angry young men" that took the world by storm in the UK Kitchen Sink Drama movement of theater and film in the late 1950s and early '60s. Focusing primarily on Look Back in Anger, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner, Billy Liar, This Sporting Life, Kes, A Taste of Honey, Saturday Night and Sunday Morning, and The Entertainer, this is an episode to listen to with a pen and a pad of paper as masterful films get cited throughout. With sharp insights about acting, filmmaking, and storytelling from his perspective as a film fan first and a professional second, this engaging chat is a treat for cinephiles everywhere.
