A Worldwide Express Podcast
The women behind the out of territory request: Kelli Petrie. Kelli is no stranger to changes at WWEX given she's been here for 16 years. She's truly seen it all from company structural changes to epic times at conferences. What we love most about Kelli's interview is her passion and commitment to working here. She's a great example of being a team player; helping out in any faucet possible, whether it's simply having Advil in her purse at all times needed or jumping on any project thrown her way. Kelli always rises to the occasion and is quick to lend a hand.
Covering all aspects of sales recruiting from finding them on LinkedIn to working with ASMs to get them hired. Lots of insight on what candidates are looking for these days and WWEX's biggest selling points as an employer. Miranda even name drops a NAE as her favorite hire in the company.
Kate Cook gets joins the Podcast and dives into all that's going on with the IAM and OAM teams. Kate gives us insights into her 13 year career track within WWEX and slips a bit in the end and offers us a great tidbit on her past life in a high school marching band!
Mr. RST of WWE is in the house and brings the heat. Chet, spills the beans on his new gig as well as gives insights into JawMac's mythology.
The Closer's Corner is proud to have a 10 year vet and true original stop by, Bethany DeAngelo. In this episode Bethany talks about our salesforce migration as well as, her love of travel, food, and wine. I give her a ton of credit. She someone managed to punt our WWEX dinner guest question, but with all next gen info/insights she teased us... it was deemed acceptable.
Leah Parker drops in to give Alice and Will some insights into her Director of Support role, as well as her ascension within the organization. Leah drops a few knowledge bombs throughout the pod, but most importantly she talks about some future state (behind the current) projects that she is working on to help the the sales force.
Our next guest, Lauren Smith graces us with her presence in the Closer Corner. This was our first podcast not done in person, but rather over the phone . So... we've come a long way right?Lauren is one of the hardest workers in the game. In this episode we dive deep into the matrix, as Lauren gives us insights into many aspects of the Cloud System Administration position. She talks about her rise within the organization, her love of mentorship, and all the work that it took behind the scenes to put us in a position to thrive in our virtual environment. Lauren and her groups protect the house mindset and security measures have proved invaluable to our organization over the years. On personal side of the house Lauren talks about her love of spirit animals, all things Mavs, as well as being a religious scrapbooker. PS... Schult, stop clicking on all those email links, she knows it's you.
Our next guest is on the will go down in the annals of WWEX History as one of the greatest competitors to ever lace them up. Mr Word of the Week himself, Bob Tupe. Tupe is a true renaissance man whose contributions to our company place him on the Mount Rushmore within the sales arena. In this episode Bob discusses his plan to replace Rose as President, his humble brag of a Rutgers MBA, as well as his love of all things Kentucky. Also - The search is over, my new Co-Host Alice Berry makes her debut and steals the show with a few well timed lines. Enjoy
Recorded this one a couple weeks back in NYC. Alissa drops some serious knowledge about things most of us field people have no clue about. This one validates the fact we are actually a real "big" company now. Marketing is more than printing out set up kits apparently. Who would have thought? StatGirl makes her first appearance (Alice Berry from Philly) and comes out of the gates strong
Woah baby, a double episode week. Very Enterprising of us (see what we did there). Lindsay joins a solo Will to dig into the Enterprise part of Worldwide. Please enjoy the longest episode in the Corner's illustrious history. Enjoy
Brandt Pangborn enters the Palace of Pure Podcast to relive the memories of his 2017 Director's Cup Win, cold calling Warren Buffet, and late 1980's comedians. We officially open the casting for Stat Boy/Girl (send your resume to jawmac@wwex.com).
Big Ben Gelsomino joins us live from Palace of Pure Process. We debut a new segment "What's hot in da streets" and talk about Ben's XFL prospects, geography, and lack of proper foot protection. In our longest episode yet, we dive deeper into National Wexnet Day 2020 and a little "state of the state". For all you going out tonight on Wexnet Day Eve, please be smart and safe. We know things can get a little weird out there.
Next up is Vice President of Sales Brian J. Feichter- in this podcast he Makes Worldwide Great Again and tells stories of selling meat door to door. He drops some nuggets about his best and worst days in the field, his all WWEX XFL football team, and his love of Donald Trump. It all rounds it out by touching on Robby’s blatant showmanship of the “best district cup” and Brandt’s loss of said cup. All in it’s a good listen and for those of you who have known me (Will) for a while… you get some insights into what it was like to have deal with me early on.. Spoiler alert.. I was harder to deal with then (albeit barely).
Joele Clumé, returns from Bordeaux to join us in our first "Live from Dallas" Episode. The Mandarin Speaking Man of Mystery shares his story which includes "U up?" texts, his love of squirrels, and Shaun of the Dead. Joele might be the biggest superfan in Closer's Corner history, which bodes well for a return visit.
The Northeast Director of the Year 2018 somehow gets invited into the Corner. He talks Daniel Jones, sleeping thru his first day of work, and maximizing the WWE PTO policy. And for all the valued listeners, because of sponsorship interest and endorsements, new audio equipment will be used starting with our next episode.
In this episode Jeff and Will are graced with the presence of Mr. Worldwide himself Johnny 5’s. John discusses his unintentional rise to stardom, his love for Dr. Phil, and explains why if it wasn’t for him, Larkin would be bagging groceries at Walmart. Just kidding Larkin… I figured by now you stopped reading!
