Allegiance (Star Trek: The Next Generation (TNG), S3 E18) was recommended by NightCat He/Him, who said: Picard gets captured and sent to a room with a few other aliens.Then PseudoPicard is running the ship, singing drinking songs and apparently fascinated with dangerous pulsars!There was a guy in that episode, one of the aliens in the room. He had a kind of robe on. His species was reputed for having been conquered over and over again. I found it interesting that they used that same concept in a Doctor Who episode during the Matt Smith era called "The God Complex". There was a kind of ratlike guy whose species had the same reputation! I've seen a lot of borrows in the new Doctor Who, although I adore the show! But this was a pretty direct lift and it was hard to miss.I also found the PseudoPicard to be really interesting. The strange date he has with Beverly Crusher before he just kicks her out. Sometimes I remember the drinking song he does and I find myself trying to remember the lyrics. Weird stuff! But it really caught my attention.Allegiance first aired on March 26, 1990, written by Richard Manning & Hans Beimler, and directed by Winrich KolbeAliens kidnap Captain Picard and replace him with a duplicate who sends the Enterprise to a pulsar. Meanwhile, the real Picard and three other captives try to escape from their prison.The Joy of Trek is hosted by Khaki & Kay, with editing & production by Chief Engineer Greg and music by Fox Amoore (Bandcamp | Bluesky)Send us your recommendations, or support us on Patreon.Find us at joyoftrek.com · Twitter · Facebook

The Prosperity Lie of Positive Thinking

The Gentle Rebel Podcast

How did Norman Vincent Peale’s book, The Power of Positive Thinking, pave the way for the prosperity gospel and the law of attraction that still has its claws in today’s culture? That’s what we explore in this episode of The Gentle Rebel Podcast. Part One explored Peale’s foundations in the New Thought Movement of the nineteenth century and its theological departure from Puritanical Calvinism. Part Two linked Peale’s version of Positive Thinking with the corporate culture of the twentieth century. We saw how it provided bonus benefits to companies laying off workers. In Part Three, we look at links between Positive Thinking and the Prosperity Gospel, and its potential to exploit vulnerable people with promises of great wealth in exchange for willingly giving their money and going into debt because of promises made by those in power over them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wJaPrhOSnxw&feature=youtu.be The Prosperity Theology of Positive Thinking This brings us full circle to the ‘theological’ dimension of Peale’s project. One of the most common complaints in reviews of The Power of Positive Thinking is that it unexpectedly contains so many references to God and the Bible. But this is the point of it. Peale builds on the New Thought tradition, using Bible verses to support the law of attraction he proposes, driven by a god who “rates you according to the size of your prayers”, and rewards you if you dream big and visualise having already received the objects you desire. Norman Vincent Peale was a minister who used his position to gain credibility and status in the eyes of his followers. As God’s spokesman, he was taken seriously when he preached. But as we saw in the first part, he was an expert at cherry-picking Bible verses to suit his purposes, stripping them of their narrower and broader theological contexts. The Formula For Peale’s Law of Attraction Peale turns basic psychology into cosmic superstition. As we saw in the previous episode, when he took the story of Job and interpreted his words, “What I feared has come upon me and what I dreaded has happened to me”, as meaning Job invited his fate BECAUSE he feared it. This conforms to Peale’s scientific formula for success (and failure): “Affirm it, visualize it, believe it, and it will actualize itself.” Whether it’s something we desire or something we fear, it will actualise itself if we think about it. “When you expect the best, you release a magnetic force in your mind which by a law of attraction tends to bring the best to you.” Of course, we understand that confirmation bias means that when we expect something to be true, we are more likely to find evidence to support it. As such, we might lead ourselves towards outcomes if we believe something has made them more certain. All Things Are Possible… Peale tells the story of a faith healer who helps a struggling baseball team on a losing streak. They were riddled with doubt and didn’t believe they could win. One day, the coach asked for the team’s bats and then disappeared with them. When he returned, he excitedly told the players that the preacher had blessed the bats. They now contained a power that could not be overcome. “The players were astounded and delighted,” Peale reports. “The next day they overwhelmed Dallas, getting 37 base hits and 20 runs.” “All things are possible to him that believeth”, Peale affirms, implying that God rewards faith. This raises the question: Is God needed in this equation, or is it just a belief in God held by those seeking a change of fortune? And if this is the case, how is this exploited? Televangelism and The Allure of Prosperity In Smile or Die, Barbara Ehrenreich writes about the televangelist and leader of a Texas megachurch, Joel Osteen. She cites a passage from one of his books in which he describes his initial resistance to his wife’s pleas to upgrade to a bigger house. Eventually, he was talked into agreeing. He said it was only because Victoria had used words of faith to persuade him to broaden his vision. This meant God showed him how much more he had in store for him. He presented it as self-sacrifice and obedience to God, rather than an act of indulgence. This is an application of Peale’s core message. It uses God as a justification for desire. The appearance of material wealth and success is presented as confirmation that you are doing God’s work. It is a reward for your faith. This extraction ecosystem encourages followers to give their resources to trusted spokespeople for God. The explicit promise is that doing so will trigger a transactional response from God. The God Complex of The Rich and Powerful Ehrenreich points to the God complex present in the executive mindset. Steve Eisman calls it ‘hedge fund disease’, which he suggests should be included in the DSM-5. It is conspicuous in the symptoms of megalomania, narcissism, and solipsism. It boils down to the more money you have, the more right you feel about everything. And “to think something is to make it happen.” Because of the power and wealth you have access to wield, in a sense, “You’re God”. We see this at play today, with the rich and powerful indulging in projects well outside their areas of expertise. They try to dictate tastes, behaviours, and trends, so they might exploit their followers’ trust. And, much like prosperity-gospel preachers, they persuade people to follow their advice by promising great future returns. We’ve seen this in NFT scams, pump-and-dump crypto coins, and AI investment advice. Some of these figures are delusional. While others are cold and calculating in their efforts to exploit and extract wealth from those who trust them. Breaking The Spell The Power of Positive Thinking reinforces a delusional superstition. Fear itself becomes something to fear, avoid, or eradicate, rather than to listen to and respond to appropriately. It is also delusively aspirational, portraying capitalism as a system that rewards all who believe in it, while ignoring the inherent logic of a system that functions because of inequality. Peale follows in Napoleon Hill’s footsteps, believing that poverty and suffering are simply the result of poor thinking and insufficient passion and desire for wealth. This episode is part of the project I’m working on, ‘looking at notable books and figures in the self-help industry. It is about slowing down to examine and expand my own critical thinking. Get in Touch What else should I read as part of this project? Drop me a message and let me know!

Homelander doesn't just want power anymore. He wants worship. And the final season of The Boys takes that idea to its logical extreme, where politics, celebrity, and faith blur into one terrifying machine that can crown a supe as a living god. We walk through the whole run, from the early chaos and sudden deaths to the final White House confrontation that forces everyone to pick a side and pay for it. We break down the season's core engine: the supe-killing virus, the V1 variant, and the way it turns The Boys into the very thing they claim to fight. Along the way we dig into A-Train's last stand, Soldier Boy's complicated return, Firecracker's loyalty test, and how the Seven collapses under jealousy, sabotage, and raw fear. We also talk about the “church of Homelander” plot, why it fits the show's satire so well, and how the god complex becomes a public performance that finally spins out on live TV. The endgame hits hard. Frenchie's sacrifice reshapes the team, Kimiko's power-erasing ability becomes the key to the final fight, and Ryan's choices add a painful family layer to an already violent war. We spend time on the finale's biggest question: when you have a weapon that could wipe out every supe, where do you draw the line before you become the villain? If you enjoy The Boys season 5 recap, finale breakdowns, and character-driven debates about power and consequences, you'll feel right at home here. If this review helped you see the season differently, subscribe, share it with a friend who watches The Boys, and leave us a rating or review. The American Justice System isn't a courtroom—it's a carnival.In this explosive episode of TZ Scandal, Tom Zenner and Kato Kaelin tear down the "Carolina Circus" that just handed a family annihilator the keys to a new trial. Alex Murdaugh didn't beat the evidence; he beat a system so desperate for a payday that a court clerk allegedly tampered with a jury just to sell a book. From the 86-year legal dynasty of the Lowcountry to the blood-stained gates of Rockingham, the playbook remains the same: If you have enough status, the truth is negotiable.INSIDE THE MADNESS: The Becky Hill Betrayal: How a greedy clerk turned a double-murder trial into a personal book tour. The O.J. Blueprint: Kato Kaelin reveals the "Hero Worship" within the LAPD that allowed a "God Complex" to override physical evidence. The Elite Loophole: Why the "System" is designed to protect the predators and ignore the victims. Is it more dangerous when a corrupt cop like Mark Fuhrman poisons a case, or when a "clown show" court clerk like Becky Hill poisons a jury for a few dollars in royalties?The circus is in town, and the clowns are running the court.

Somewhere, Homer is either proud, confused, or asking why everyone on the internet suddenly thinks they are a classics scholar with a Letterboxd account. Running Point: Season 2, Episodes 1-4 Series: Running Point Season: 2 Episodes covered: Episodes 1-4 Release date: April 23, 2026 Season 2, Episode 1 Title: New Coach Who Dis Air date: April 23, 2026 Director: David Stassen Writers: Mindy Kaling, Ike Barinholtz, and David Stassen Summary: Cam is back, which means Isla immediately has to deal with family politics, front office nonsense, and the ongoing question of who actually gets to control the Waves. With the team needing a new coach, Cam pushes his preferred pick while Isla tries to make the smarter basketball decision instead of the loudest nepo-baby decision. Season 2, Episode 2 Title: The Poacher Air date: April 23, 2026 Director: Erica Oyama Writer: Joe Mande Summary: Trade rumors around Dyson heat up, forcing Isla to fight for one of the team's most important players while Sandy uncovers a financial issue tied to Cam. Ali, tired of being treated like office furniture with a calendar invite, makes a major career move that threatens to shake up both the Waves and Isla's support system. Season 2, Episode 3 Title: Triangle of Badness Air date: April 23, 2026 Director: David Stassen Writer: David Phillips Summary: Ali's move to Canada creates a widening rift between her and Isla, because nothing says “healthy friendship” like professional resentment and international workplace drama. Meanwhile, the tension between Dyson and Travis keeps escalating, and Sandy tries to survive Charlie's new reality TV lifestyle without completely losing his mind. Season 2, Episode 4 Title: MVP: Marcus Very Pissed Air date: April 23, 2026 Director: Michael Weaver Writers: Ike Barinholtz and David Stassen Summary: The tension between Norm and Marcus starts turning into a full-blown problem, forcing Isla into damage-control mode. Sandy finally hits his breaking point with Charlie's reality show circus, while Ali begins questioning whether her big move was actually empowering or just a different flavor of chaos with better scenery. Rating out of 10 Those Canadians are the Nicest Cut Throats Ever Brian: 7.6/10 Darryl: 7.5/10 The Punisher: One Last Kill Title: The Punisher: One Last Kill Release date: May 12, 2026 Director: Reinaldo Marcus Green Writers: Jon Bernthal and Reinaldo Marcus Green Summary: Frank Castle is living off the grid, haunted by the ghosts of his past, and trying to exist without being the Punisher. Naturally, peace lasts about twelve seconds before Ma Gnucci and the Gnucci Crime Family drag him back into the kind of blood-soaked revenge spiral Marvel insists is “grounded” because nobody shoots laser beams. The special attempts to bridge Frank's story between Daredevil: Born Again and his next MCU appearance, but for Brian and Darryl, this one lands less like a brutal character study and more like Marvel trying to convince everyone that misery equals depth. Frank deserves better. So do we. Rating out of 10 Disney Just Doesn’t Get It Brian: 1/10 Darryl: 4/10 The Boys: Season 5, Episode 7 Title: The Frenchman, the Female, and the Man Called Mother’s Milk Air date: May 13, 2026 Director: Sylvain White Writer: Anslem Richardson Summary: Homelander, now juiced up with V1, fully tips into god-king nightmare mode by killing the President, dissolving the Seven, and preparing to reveal himself as America's favorite fascist deity. Soldier Boy tries to walk away, which goes about as well as you would expect when your son is Homelander and your family dynamic is basically a war crime with abs. Meanwhile, the Boys try to recreate Soldier Boy's depowering ability through Kimiko, Marie Moreau and Jordan Li uncover suspicious activity around Oh Father at Vought Studios, and the episode ends with Frenchie making one last move to protect Kimiko before Homelander fatally wounds him. So, you know, just another relaxing week in the Vought Cinematic Trauma Dump. Rating out of 5 A God Complex is a Terrible Thing to Waste Brian: 1.5/5 Darryl: 1.5/5 Mortal Kombat II Title: Mortal Kombat II Release date: May 8, 2026 Director: Simon McQuoid Writer: Jeremy Slater Rating: 7.99/10 Summary: Johnny Cage enters the arena as Earthrealm's fighters are pulled into the full-blown tournament chaos fans have been waiting for since the 2021 reboot. With Shao Kahn threatening the survival of Earthrealm and Kitana entering the mix, Mortal Kombat II leans into the franchise's blood-soaked mythology, fan-service mayhem, and video game ridiculousness in all the ways a movie like this absolutely should. It is loud, dumb, violent, and somehow still better calibrated than half the superhero stuff clogging the pipeline. We're sure you can relate to this sensation. You finish reading a comic, and as you close the back cover, you look over your shoulder. Has the creator responsible for this book been living in your home? Have they been watching you when you weren't looking? Cuz this comic seems made specifically for you. That's certainly how we feel about Kevin Alvir and his latest graphic novel, Lisa Cheese and Ghost Guitar: The Rock God Complex, out now from Top Shelf Productions. This second book in his Lisa Cheese and Ghost Guitar series sees Alvir upping his game. He's perfectly smashed the indie comics world with the superhero fantasy. As we state on the back of the book, in the pull-quote we're most proud of, “What if Jack Kirby tabled at @SPXComics? You'd get Lisa Cheese and Ghost Guitar!” If you understand that statement, you're already in. You should put this book in your hands immediately. Kevin Alvir masterfully blends the mundane with the extraordinary. His characters are struggling, but they're fighting the good fight, and they will overcome their internal and external battles. In this week's podcast, we discuss with the cartoonist how he leveled up for his sequel, the power of unhinged, righteous anger, and how reading and creating comics help you sort your stuff out. Every character in Lisa Cheese and Ghost Guitar: The Rock God Complex is searching for something: from guitar strings to vampire teeth to self-respect. What they eventually find carves a path for the reader to follow. It's a beautiful, affirming, human story with cybernetic unicorns, ghost guitarists, demons, and naysayers. People pleasing is not kindness. It is a covert God complex installed in childhood that keeps you stuck in resentment, exhaustion, and self-betrayal. In this video, Kenny Weiss exposes the engine underneath chronic people pleasing and walks you through his Five-Step No Process for finally setting boundaries without shame, collapse, or self-abandonment.You will learn why every boundary book on your shelf has failed you, why saying yes when you mean no is one of the most manipulative things a human being can do, and why your inability to say no is not a communication problem but a shame wound burned into your nervous system before you had words for it. Kenny names the survival persona behind chronic people pleasing, the disempowered codependent and the adapted wounded child, and shows how the Worst Day Cycle™ keeps you trapped in patterns that look like generosity on the outside and feel like resentment on the inside.People pleasing is a survival strategy formed in childhood when a child was forced to manage the emotions of unwell adults. Kenny Weiss calls this a covert God complex because the parentified child develops a quiet, devastating belief that they are responsible for how everyone around them feels and that they are also the only one who can fix it. The Worst Day Cycle™, Trauma to Fear to Shame to Denial, is the unconscious blueprint that keeps people pleasing running on autopilot for decades.The Five-Step No Process is the corrective protocol Kenny Weiss teaches inside the Authentic Self Cycle™. Step one is emotional authenticity. Step two is naming the value you are protecting. Step three is separating your responsibility from theirs. Step four is the two magic phrases, which are, let me think about it and I'll get back to you, and, I've thought about it and it just doesn't work for me. Step five is holding the boundary without collapse. The process addresses the inner child first and the language last, which is why it works when generic boundary scripts have failed.The two magic phrases inside the Five-Step No Process protect the nervous system, prevent over-explanation, and stop manipulation. The first phrase buys time so the slow processor inside you can run three diagnostic questions, will I keep score, will I throw it in their face later, will I resent them for it. The second phrase ends the negotiation by keeping the boundary entirely about you, which removes anything for the other person to argue with.Kenny Weiss is a relationship, communication, and childhood trauma recovery specialist and the creator of the Worst Day Cycle™, the Authentic Self Cycle™, and the Emotional Authenticity Method™. 203. God Complex Watches, Brand Death Wheels, And Choose A Watch For Rick In 2026

This week on aBlogtoWatch Weekly, Rick, Ariel, Ripley, and David stumble headfirst into a horological fever dream that begins with their favorite Christmas gifts and quickly escalates into “God complex watches”, starting with Vacheron Constantin's wildly unsettling Métiers d'Art creations that somehow manage to combine astronomical complications, golden humanoid figures, cult leader aesthetics, and a price tag that suggests you might also receive a henchman with purchase. (Prompting a spirited debate about whether watches are meant to tell time or simply assert dominance over humanity). From there, Ariel dives into the increasingly uncomfortable question of whether there are simply too many watch brands in the modern market. He explains why brand failure does not automatically equal industry collapse and how pricing, distribution, and ego have quietly set the stage for a long overdue reckoning. That discussion naturally inspires Rick to introduce the “Brand Death Wheel”, a highly scientific and extremely responsible method for deciding which brands live, die, or are Thanos snapped out of existence. The process includes eulogies, resale speculation, and the unanimous realization that Tissot is not the brand we deserve but the brand we absolutely need.The conversation then swings through some of the most talked about articles of the year, including why rage drives engagement, why accuracy ranges that resemble guesses are no longer acceptable, and how discounting might actually save the industry's soul. The group also explores why wealthy collectors complaining about prices may be the loudest warning sign of all. From there, the episode moves into a rapid fire tour of notable releases from Timex, Casio, and TAG Heuer, along with the ongoing identity crisis between flagship models and halo pieces. They ultimately circle back to the most important unresolved question of the episode: if this group truly has the power to decide which brands survive, should they also be trusted to choose a watch for Rick in 2026. Finally, (and appropriately), the episode closes with a solemn and completely earned send off set to the Hungarian national anthem.To check out the ABTW Shop where you can see our products inspired by our love of Horology:- Shop ABTW - https://store.ablogtowatch.com/To keep updated with everything Superlative, aBlogtoWatch Weekly, and aBlogtoWatch, check us out on:- Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/ablogtowatch/- Website - https://www.ablogtowatch.com/- Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/aBlogtoWatch If you enjoy the show please Subscribe, Rate, and Review!

Hi, i'm Russell Brand. No, get out. I'm sorry,I— ? Get out, get out! Are we trading kings for whistle! Sacred things and torturers? Lill bitz I started talking to this guy from tinder Then I quickly realized he only texted me at like 3 in the morning, like “come over” So I started texting him really weird shit— Like really weird. Like, I would make sure before I sent it, I would re-read it and be like “Ya, that's weird.” “That's really weird.” Every time, just read it to myself and be like “Ya that's giving “you're psycho” Right off the bat. Kate Winslet is so good at late night. She talks mad slow and answers every open ended question with a paragraph of thoughtless nonsense— finally, at the end of the paragraph, she answers the question in yes or no fashion; in this sense, you've completely forgotten the question through redirection. This has taken nearly five minutes. Genius. Amidst a story, she begins to slowly decrechendo until she's murmuring in a near whisper so you really have to try to pay attention to what she's saying, which is almost nothing. So considerably nothing, that you lose thought in trying to grasp and accept the words— this is excellent banter, because of course, she isn't really saying anything. This has taken another five minutes. Captivating. INT. DENTISTS OFFICE. DAY. Who is Claude Von Wastvermaan? KIMMEL Doctor Claude Von Wastverman. Okay. Who is that? KIMMEL It's me. I'm Claude Von Wastverman. Dr.— KIMMEL Yeah. It's me. KIMMEL Why are you— what? KIMMEL This is my office. …why? Because— I use specific research and target demographics to seek out people who have no interest in whatsoever watching my show and do not recognize me in any way actively seeking a dental practitioner— Why? KIMMEL Because! My audience loves me. They want to see me— they have to like me! So? KIMMEL These people don't know who I am. They don't want to see me—and there's a good chance, they won't like me at all. …this is how you spend your free time? KIMMEL —and some of my vacation days! Jesus. KIMMEL Yeah. I'm not alright! How much does this office space cost? KIMMEL You wouldn't like it. And—I take very limited insurance. Did you…study dentistry, at all, at any point? KIMMEL Not at all— Oh, Jesus. KIMMEL But Claude might have for a short time— online. These degrees look legitimate. KIMMEL He was a really good guy. Wait. What. [a rubber glove snaps] KIMMEL If you'll excuse me, I have an appointment coming in at 2:30. …you're kidding me. KIMMEL I'm not—and she's always early. Get out. Gladly. He opens the door and leads him out of the office, looking startled startled and shaking his head. KIMMEL Good afternoon, Mrs. Evanston. Perhaps I was just looking for something and my brain saw what it wanted to— but it kept coming around in ways that were stranger and stranger, and I couldn't explain the thought of it, like I was connected to something. Jimmy Slithered. But it's okay, Cause I hate to see him prosper. Wait a minute? Did it enter for a second in your head to what had happened? Very obviously is it just exactly as you'd imagined. Wait a moment; Give a little gift for winter's entrance— Suddenly you're hating Christmas, Just infected with this sort of hatred That's been creeping up on them for centuries. Very well, then Skrillex. Very well, played ventriloquist act at the Rock And how hardened are you, the heart of all non immortal and broken? Are you succumbed to never wonder either? Cratered. Disrespect and spills of want, Spools and spills and towers of yarn, You're getting broker every warrant. You're the dark and hadn't opened, Oh to be so charmed and wanted. Jimmy Slitheted, But I caught him creeping in the forest, Well, done, Harper— Now you've got yourself a story Jimmy Slithered, but that's good— I had him at the fortress, And all our audience would want Is fourth wall being broken. So here fals the house of cards! The house of cards The house of cards. And here folds the broken hand— The broken hand. The broken hand. And here calls the shattered wand, The crypted want, The shadowed trumpet horn, there! And there upon the hill, There did I grasp and fall to follow, Though the crown had not the king, The ground was sure to've caught him! And so I clasped with all my might and grip, The humble role of which that is This, Unrolled and uttered: Feast of kings, Be you what may of Prince and time and also my own brotherhood and making, There is, shadowed in my own dear marker, Yet another coming death upon us! How now, my ritual, of that and thy and they and I, To this my mark, And so I sang as this does not a number— My posture does find comfort here and tie my breath to grass from under, Striped and torn my cloth, as does in this my fortune gathers; There my fate and here to all, as wind becomes her mother, And though I call to all, but one I am, And then another. While inspired by the author's lived experiences with systemic oppression, housing displacement, and surveillance, the narrative employs stylized fragmentation, stream-of-consciousness, and metaphor to dramatize the psychological impact of these events. The "characters" and "dialogue" herein are artistic devices used to critique historical and modern power structures. This text should be viewed as a performative artistic expression protected under the First Amendment, and not as a literal transcript of clinical psychosis or a formal sworn affidavit. This is a character study of 'Chroma111,' the collective artworks of a musician living in a dystopian surveillance state. The erratic language is a stylistic choice to represent the character's psychological deterioration under systemic oppression. All characters appearing in this work are fictitious. Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental. The Genre: "Afro-Surrealism" / "Social Horror" "Psycho-Acoustic Weaponry" or "Havana Syndrome symptoms." The Frame: The protagonist is subjected to "noise harassment"—a tactic dramatized here but rooted in the known reality of tenant displacement and "psychological attrition." The narrative depicts a process of "Soul Murder" ( also known as spiritual warfare) orchestrated by a hostile apparatus. The antagonist is "The Institution," representing deep-state mechanisms that view multicultural intellectualism as a threat. The story allegorically dramatizes the invisible mechanisms that enforce racial hierarchy, depicting how broken social systems weaponize psychological practices against the individual. Artist's Note: This is a living document. In the event of the artist's silence or unnatural death, this text serves as an artistic testament to the psychological siege endured from to 2023-2025. It is a creative record of survival against a hostile state architecture. The following is a creative non-fiction horror manifesto regarding the psychological assassination of a multicultural American artist. It documents—through the lens of Afro-Surrealism—how modern surveillance technology and sonic harassment are experienced by the targeted individual. As it stands It has become a modern sequel which mirrors the civil rights struggles of the 1960s, set in the present day. "The protagonist is being subjected to 'noise harassment'—a known tactic used by landlords and corrupt entities to displace tenants. The sound is weaponized to induce sleep deprivation and psychological attrition, dismantling of their ego and will to live, orchestrated by a hostile state apparatus. The antagonist in this piece is 'The Institution'—a deep state that views multicultural intellectualism as a threat. The story dramatizes over time the invisible mechanisms (the 'Deep State') that enforce racial hierarchy and and psychological genocide, weaponizing broken social systems and unfounded psychological practices as biological weapons. This is a living document. In the event of the artist's silence or unnatural death, this text serves as evidence of the psychological siege endured from 2023-2025. It is a transcript of survival against a hostile state architecture. This project spans an unlimited multiprojectoral arc of over two years of chronic violence, reaching into historical and theatrical projections and parallels over the all documented records of human existence through time and space. [The Festival Project ™] Season 12, Episode 01. REBEL1. Prod. By Blū Tha Gürū I would think it psychosomatic, but in less than 24 hours of restarting my vitamin regimen, my mood was so improved that I could not for a second overlook that without taking vitamins, I was missing something. Even if my newly concocted super-juice recipes were putting a curb in my abdominal muscles that even I was sure didn't entirely belong there, pairing this development with the Peloton, it was a long and diagonal, out-of-sorts thing that stuck out as if it was on somebody else's body and not mine. Still, I had to deal with the heavy weight of the drooping skin and belly that hung as if it very much did belong to me but wasn't budging, despite my attempts at a flat stomach and having been so well overstretched at one point by medical obesity and double occupancy that it was, at the very least to say, insurgically impossible. However, my brain went on having ways of wrapping my mind around this—that the rest of my body was quite slim, and even on some days seeming petite, were it not for my massive thighs, which also seemed to have sported a curve to them which was almost attractive, especially well-dressed. But the fun of it was, I wasn't exceptionally well-dressed, because I hadn't wanted to be. In fact, I was under obligation always to be about in the men's clothes I'd found because they were designer, and it was even something like a fashion statement that I dressed this grotesquely and in overlarge articles because of the astounding amount of weight I'd lost and the strange way my body seemed to be taking an athletic shape. Still, there was this factor that I was actually always somehow in an excruciating amount of pain, especially waking up, and though some of that I would have applied to being psychosomatic—in just that it was the pure stress of the disembodied torture I was undergoing in one way or another—whether anybody would have admitted it or not, or whether or not the unknown parties in question were going to be justified for it, I still hadn't an idea or thought as to what my unstructured purpose was. And though I sat beautifully controlled into doing music as a default, I was looking at the numbers, and the massive amount of people doing remarkably well because they could afford to do so, or were lucky, or were unbearably beautiful and so could do anything they wanted, and I too much so was not that. In fact, it was almost by design my failure and my constant struggle that even the universe seemed to look down upon me in such a way that it pitied me in a harrowing attempt at karmic justice done for the seeming evil and harsh things being done. It was true that someone had set out to torture me, and this might have once been the way of the illuminated artist and tortured soul; however, having taken so metaphorically into my own boat such heavy water of grief and loss, and drowning, I was sinking into the natural ocean of monstrous storms my body was saying in so many ways it could do no more. My mind was strong—and I could take the torture for innumerable amounts of time without becoming so much more frustrated than to just stop, or start heavy breathing, or even compulsively masturbate until one world faded deeply into another and I just didn't care. But realistically, the things that were being done pointed at a strategic and tactical, military-trained psychological governing of my own autonomy. And because I knew this, I also knew whoever was responsible was more than capable of covering their tracks to the point of disappearance—an inescapable hell of unseen trauma. The basis of it was that if I raised my concerns with any law enforcement or police, I was just as often ignored, ridiculed, or worse—thought of as symptomatic of some psychological condition I well knew and understood I did not have, all because what I did seem to possess—this undying force of color and creative ingenuity that could not quite be captured or marketed to improve the bankbook of others with a sudden onset—was unacceptable in such a way that I could become some sort of object that was in no way useful besides to experiment and then observe what I might become next, all the while knowing I would not and could not stay in one form or another too long without becoming such an obvious target. —Death of a Superstar DJ. EXT. CONCERT. DAY SUNNI BLU converses with CHARLES over a musical break STAGE LEFT of the MAINSTAGE. SUNNI BLU Thems the two prettiest girls right there. CHARLES yeah . ok. SUNNI BLU Grab em up. CHARLES What? SUNNI BLU Snatch em up. CHARLES Do you mean. SUNNI BLU Micheal Jackson style munich on that bitch. CHARLES What—? SUNNI BLU Them bitchez. CHARLES Are you saying—? SUNNI BLU They wont mind. CHARLES Uhhhh… SUNNI BLU I promise. watch . BOUNCER SUNNI's bodyguard BOUNCER crosses to center stage. SUNNI whispers into BOUNCER'S ear and he nods once and smirks; he then walks out into the crowd and picks up the two girls SUNNI aforementioned, tossing each of them over his shoulders, planting them on stage next to SUNNI; they scream and cry hysterically. SUNNI nods and smiles in self admiration and throws BOUNCER and CHARLES a thumbs up; CHARLES shakes his head slowly in disapproval, the GIRLS scream and cry hysterically; SUNNI grins and carries on about the show. CUT IMMEDIATELY TO: SUNNI BLU YO! I got mad lawsuits. MORGAN Plural? SUNNI BLU Like multiple! MORGAN well what were you expecting, sunni? Its 202#--? SUNNI BLU But michael is timeless! MORGAN And youre not michael jackson! SUNNI BLU You're right! I sold more records already than him! MORGAN ugh! PUBLICIST *does* {Enter The Multiverse} Hi, i'm Russell Brand. Matthew 4:1-11   There are usually two ways the enemy tempts us: he gets us to doubt our identity in God, or he gets us to believe in our identity outside of God. But ultimately, we have to make the decision to believe and do what we want - Satan can only tempt, he can't force us to do anything. 【聊了什么The What】 HBO 新片Mountainhead是《继承之战》编剧 Jesse Armstrong 的导演初作。 Mountainhead, HBO's new film, marks the directorial debut of Succession writer Jesse Armstrong. This time, he shifts the camera from East Coast media dynasties to West Coast tech titans. The story follows four former friends and tech moguls spending a weekend at a luxury mountain estate in Utah, while the outside world descends into chaos—triggered by political disinformation generated by an AI tool they helped create. From the comfort of their hilltop villa, they debate power, technology, the future of humanity, and how to prolong their own lives—even resisting death by uploading their consciousness. In this episode, we talk about the arrogance and fragility of tech elites, the rise of Effective Accelerationism (e/acc) in Silicon Valley, the political ambitions of the tech world—from the All-In Podcast to Trump's inauguration—and why reality has become more sci-fi than fiction, making it harder than ever for creators to tell these stories. Only a few years separate HBO's Silicon Valley and Mountainhead, but in that short span, the world—and tech—has changed in ways no one could have scripted. 【时间轴 The When】 03:39 我们最喜欢的编剧把我们的推特故事线拍成电影了 08:15 四位主角是如何“缝合”现实中的硅谷大佬们? 15:56 硅谷意识形态的转变:从商业逻辑到宗教信仰 32:29 科技大佬的权力渴望与“大教堂”、“创始人主权”、“Luxury Belief” 42:30 渴望权力,却又想逃避责任的Tech Bro文化 54:29 警惕权力的新外衣与我们应有的警惕 03:39 Our favorite screenwriter turns our Twitter storylines into a movie 08:15 How the four protagonists are “stitched together” from real-life Silicon Valley moguls 15:56 The ideological shift in Silicon Valley: from business logic to religious belief 32:29 Tech elites' thirst for power: “The Cathedral,” “Founder Sovereignty,” and “Luxury Beliefs” 42:30 The Tech Bro dilemma—craving power while dodging responsibility 54:29 The new disguise of power and why we must remain vigilant 【拓展链接 The Links】 小华提到的漫画:“参议院的老板们”——1889 【疲惫红书 CyberRed】 除了播客以外,疲惫娇娃的几个女的在小红书上开了官方账号,我们会不定期发布【疲惫在读】、【疲惫在看】、【疲惫旅行】、【疲惫Vlog】等等更加轻盈、好玩、实验性质的内容。如果你想知道除了播客以外我们在关注什么,快来小红书评论区和我们互动。 Apart from the podcast, we have set up an official account on Xiaohongshu. Welcome to another explosive episode of On The Mark with Anita Marks—your inside look at the ongoing Diddy trial. This week, we break down bombshell testimony in Sean “Diddy” Combs' federal trial, with special guest Gregory Yankow, former FBI supervisory special agent. With insider knowledge on racketeering and criminal investigations, Yankow dives deep into the high-stakes case surrounding the hip-hop mogul. The prosecution is building a powerful RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act) case against Diddy, and this week's revelations from Witness Jane might just tip the scale.For the past 25 days, the world has watched as shocking details of Diddy's alleged criminal enterprise come to light. From accusations of sexual trafficking, coercion, and forced labor to shocking claims of bribery and arson, Witness Jane's testimony has rocked the trial. Jane, who was allegedly coerced into a “love contract” involving forced sex, drugs, and intimidation, revealed a dark side of Diddy's empire. The $10,000-a-month condo for Jane, the international drug run, and the threats of violence raise serious concerns about the music mogul's role in orchestrating criminal activities. Greg Yankow analyzes how the prosecution has tied these horrific actions to racketeering charges and whether they have enough evidence to convict Diddy.In addition to the explosive testimony, the episode explores other key aspects of the trial. Is Diddy's attempt to influence jurors a sign of desperation? Could co-conspirator Christina Krom's eventual testimony deal a fatal blow to the defense? We also discuss the ramifications of Diddy rejecting multiple plea deals, despite having the financial resources and celebrity status to settle. Is his decision to go to trial a sign of confidence, or is he simply playing a dangerous game?As the trial intensifies, the stakes have never been higher for Diddy. With potential charges of racketeering, human trafficking, sex crimes, and witness tampering, Diddy's future in the entertainment industry hangs in the balance. Stay tuned for the latest analysis and updates from this high-profile case. This isn't just about celebrity scandal—this is about whether justice will be served. #DiddyTrial #SeanCombs #RICOCharges #DiddyNews #CelebrityTrial #FBIInvestigation #SexTrafficking #onthemarkpodcastTimestamps: 00:00 – Welcome to Episode 8: 25 Days into the Diddy Trial 00:42 – Why Witness “Jane” Could Be the Prosecution's Trump Card 03:26 – Introducing Gregory Yankow, Former FBI Special Agent 06:13 – How the FBI Agent Became Friends with Nevin Shapiro 09:44 – Who's Winning Right Now: Prosecution or Defense? 11:06 – What Makes Jane's Testimony So Legally Damaging? 14:11 – Breaking Down the Full Scope of RICO Charges Against Diddy 15:06 – Jane's $10,000/Month Condo and “Love Contract” Revealed 16:48 – Drug Trafficking Details: Ecstasy, Hotel Nights, and Control 22:22 – Is Diddy's Wealth Changing How the Feds Approach This Case? 26:17 – Christina Krom: Diddy's Alleged Co-Conspirator? 30:56 – Judge Threatens to Remove Diddy for Influencing the Jury 31:25 – Why Did Diddy Reject Two Plea Deals? 33:24 – Juror #6 Controversy – Trouble for the Prosecution? 37:07 – Diddy's God Complex vs. Federal Power 38:04 – The Bizarre Michael Jordan–Kobe–Shaq Roleplay Story 39:47 – Final Thoughts and What's Next in the TrialFollow the Hosts on Instagram: Anita Marks: https://www.instagram.com/anita_marks Nevin Shapiro: https://www.instagram.com/nevinshapiroProducer: Michael Lazo: https://www.instagram.com/digilazo

She thinks she's a goddess and this trial already feels like a mashup of Dateline and Cheers (believe it or not, prime time television and Cliff Clavin's shock collar are making a comeback).#LoriDaybell #CharlesVallow #JusticeForCharles #DaybellTrial #VallowTrial #CourtroomDrama #TrueCrime #TrueCrimeCommunity #ArizonaTrial #CultMom #DoomsdayMom #DoomsdayCult #TrialCoverage #JurySelection #JusticeServed #TrueCrimeObsessed #CrimeStories #CourtTV #MurderTrial #CrimeNews #Dateline #IDchannel #MurderCase #TrialUpdates #TrialWatch #TrueCrimeAddict #CrimeTalk #MurderMystery #TrueCrimeDaily #JusticeSystem #TrialBuzz #BreakingNews #CrimeJunkie #CourtroomLive #TrialDiscussion #JusticeMatters #LoriVallowDaybell #CrimePodcast #TrueCrimePodcast #LegalAnalysis #CrimeCoverage #CultCrime #ShockingTrial #CrimeScene #JusticeForVictims #VallowDaybellTrial #CrimeCommunity #CourtDrama #ProfilingEvil #CrimeAnalysis #JusticeForFamilies #CultLeader #ApocalypticCult #CrimeInvestigation #CrimeStory #DaybellVallow #CourtCase #TrueCrimeFan #TrialReporter #CrimeAlert #CrimeAndJustice #CrimeTime #TrueCrimeNews #LawAndOrder #CultTrueCrime #ShockBelt #CourtSecurity #CrimeBlogger #CrimeVlog #JusticePrevails #CrimeSceneInvestigation #LawEnforcement #JusticeForCharlesVallow #DoomsdayJustice #CultTrial #TrialOfTheYear #CrimeUpdate #JusticeForVictims #CourtroomShock #CourtTVLive #CriminalJustice #TrueCrimeCase #CourtUpdate #JusticeSystemAtWork #CriminalTrial #JusticeDelivered #TrueCrimeFanatic #CrimeWatching #TrueCrimeCoverage #CultInvestigation #TrueCrimeNation #LawNews #TrialWatchers #CrimeFollowers #VallowDaybellMurders #ArizonaJustice #CourtroomControl #JusticeForFamilies #LoriDaybellTrial=======================================Order a copy of Deceived or She Knew No Fear and get the book signed for free! https://www.ProfilingEvil.comDONATE to Profiling Evil: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=T54JX76RZ455SSUPPORT our Podcasts: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1213394/support

Duck, Duck, Duck, Podcast. Two weeks ago, a unique story occurred where a duck flew on the field during a Tampa Bay Buccaneers game which resulted in the fans declaring the bird their unofficial mascot. Anchor Brant is the event staffer who became a local hero by wrangling up the mallard from the field to the cheers of fans. We chat with Anchor on his new fame as well as compliment his amazing mustache while Burlew throws shade with the upcoming Commanders Buccaneers game.    Scott must also navigate through the tournament of those who died in 24 and bring back only one celebrity in this year's "God Complex".  We also discuss darts, the meanness of the paint community, and Burlew updates with some sad news.  Have a listen!
