Woman of the Hour (2023) is the directorial debut from Anna Kendrick and is based on the true crime story of serial killer and sex offender Rodney Alcala. The plot alternates between aspiring actress Sheryl (Anna Kendrick) as she navigates sexism and harassment in 1978 while trying to secure acting roles and Alcala's known murders from 1971 to 1979. On her agents advice she takes up the opportunity to be a contestant on The Dating Game, also a contestant is Rodney Alcala, a serial killer hiding in plain sight. Woman of the Hour is a confident debut from Anna Kendrick, she sensitively handles the rape and extreme violence that Alcala inflicted on his victims. Recommendability scores for Woman of the Hour were very high, however, despite its 94 minutes runtime it scored low on repeat viewing to give an overall rating of 3.81. Despite any gripes with Xbox this year, there's no denying that 2026 presents a fun challenge for them. Fable, Forza Horizon 6, Halo, and Gears Of War E-Day are all slated to drop next year. However, a new wrinkle has been introduced in the ambitious RPG, Clockwork Revolution, which hails from inXile Entertainment. After a seven minute trailer from this summer's showcase, we felt this thing had to be ready to go soon. Sadly, the RPG titan tempered our expectations when the trailer ended with the familiar statement from its initial reveal: "Coming in due time." Well, if a LinkedIn profile is to be believed, Clockwork Revolution may join the fray of a busy year for the "biggest publisher in gaming." Naturally, we hone in on GTA 6 which creates a splash radius so large that every publisher will be avoiding them for the fall. Lindsay Shiver, the former Alabama beauty queen accused of plotting to murder her estranged husband Robert Shiver, has filed a new petition with the Nassau Supreme Court in the Bahamas. Her request: remove the GPS ankle monitor she's been wearing for over two years while awaiting trial on conspiracy to commit murder charges. Her reasoning? The ankle monitor is "embarrassing." It causes bruises and disrupts her sleep. It traumatizes her three children. It can't get wet, so she can't go to the beach or take her kids swimming. And most notably — she claims she has job offers for modeling and influencer work that she can't accept while wearing the device. Lindsay Shiver was arrested in July 2023 alongside her alleged lover Terrence Bethel and suspected hitman Faron Newbold Jr. after Bahamian police discovered WhatsApp messages allegedly showing a photo of Robert Shiver with the words "kill him." Prosecutors say the messages reveal a murder-for-hire plot against her husband, a former Auburn football player and ex-NFL long snapper for the Atlanta Falcons. All three defendants have pleaded not guilty. This video covers the full history of the Lindsay Shiver case, including her original arrest, her release on $100,000 bail, the strict conditions of her release including the ankle monitor and travel restrictions, and how she violated those conditions by appearing on Good Morning America and Inside Edition in October 2024 — which resulted in the judge revoking her bail and sending her back to Fox Hill Prison in Nassau for four months. The video also examines what this latest ankle monitor removal request reveals about Lindsay Shiver's apparent disconnect from reality, her pattern of prioritizing attention over compliance, and how her actions continue to shape public perception of her case. Lindsay Shiver, the former Alabama beauty queen accused of plotting to murder her estranged husband Robert Shiver, has filed a new petition with the Nassau Supreme Court in the Bahamas. Her request: remove the GPS ankle monitor she's been wearing for over two years while awaiting trial on conspiracy to commit murder charges. Her reasoning? The ankle monitor is "embarrassing." It causes bruises and disrupts her sleep. It traumatizes her three children. It can't get wet, so she can't go to the beach or take her kids swimming. And most notably — she claims she has job offers for modeling and influencer work that she can't accept while wearing the device. Lindsay Shiver was arrested in July 2023 alongside her alleged lover Terrence Bethel and suspected hitman Faron Newbold Jr. after Bahamian police discovered WhatsApp messages allegedly showing a photo of Robert Shiver with the words "kill him." Prosecutors say the messages reveal a murder-for-hire plot against her husband, a former Auburn football player and ex-NFL long snapper for the Atlanta Falcons. All three defendants have pleaded not guilty. The instructions were very clear: Walk over to the hit car. Open the front passenger door and get in. Do not look around. Keep your head facing forward. Act normal. Angie Solomon does just that, slides in and stares at the dashboard. “Have you done this before?” A male voice answers from the backseat behind her to let her know that she's asking one too many questions. Angie nervously laughs then continues. Angie tells the hitman in the backseat of the car about her youngest child. A daughter named Gracie, whom Angie claims, was abused by her ex-husband and Gracie's father Aaron. Angie continues. She tells the hitman about Aaron's schedule, his address, how his gate has a hole in the back that the hitman can get through. The hitman finally speaks, “You understand that I'm not going to see you again. You understand that right? He'll be dead and disappear…” But the morning after Angie plotted to kill her ex-husband, Aaron would not be dead.And the two them, Mr. Backseat man and Angie, they would see each other again… In a courtroom full of people while the recording of Angie in the hit car plays in open court. Mr. Backseat Man is an undercover FBI agent. By 2025 Angie will be arrested for murder for hire.
