    A second-generation South Asian American daughter reflects on her relationship with her father five years after his death and explores his distant demeanor. She reflects on the impacts it had on her relationship with her older brother. After learning new pieces of her father’s youth, she examines the space he created between himself and his wife and their children. It pushes her to realize she will always let those she values know that they are appreciated and loved. -Today’s Challenge: Reflect on the relationships you have with siblings or sibling-like-figures.     A young Muslim Indian American man recalls his journey of interfaith work with his Hindu peers growing up. Due to his childhood, he learned and valued the importance of religious diversity within his own ethnic community.     An anonymous woman shares the story of how she and her family experienced ostracization from their Bengali community. The community was focused too focused on assimilation but also traditional upkeep that they neglected to provide communal support to a family that began to fall apart. Constant pressures, both external and internal, to make the community and family proud led to a decline in her family’s health and her overall well-being.
