Some quick thoughts on a pivotal scene from Goethe's Faust. As Faust contemplates ending it all, a few simple pleasures—like Easter hymns and a spontaneous dance—pull him back from the brink. I also touch on how Nietzsche might view this moment in terms of finding meaning in life's everyday experiences.Just testing the waters with this one—let me know what you think!#Goethe #Faust #Nietzsche #QuickThoughts #Philosophy
Social media is a dating app. Modern women, have newfound agency and autonomy in matters of dating. Their choices are myriad, their desires paramount. If she uses social media regularly, remember it is not an atom closer to a relationship until she gives transparency or logins. Our modern women are normalizing polygamy in our culture, while liberating in some aspects, this will is becoming the new norm.
Basically, when a women you are dating a couple months beyond the point of exclusivity consistently uses social media and you're not in it, not only is she disrespecting you but you are disrespecting yourself by allowing such behavior from your partner. After you decide you want to be serious, you must establish ground rules on this moving forward. Must be willing to walk away.
The prodigal sin is to have no Solar vision in your own life. Life changes, people change, and perhaps your mission/purpose changes, but the masculine energy requires the North Star throughout his entire life. The earth revolves and orbits the sun, so the masculine psychology needs a sun to stay grounded, true to oneself, and ultimately strive towards a goal that is transcendent.
These 6 habits have been an absolute bane in my existence. It's been normalized, it is perpetuated daily, but even so to be our best self they must absolutely become a minimal part of our Iives.
The temptations of Buddha and Christ What were the three temptations of Buddha? Lust, Folly, and Envy, came to entice him back to a wordly life by attempts at flattering his vanity and appealing to egotistic satisfaction. What are the 3 temptations of Christ? After Jesus was baptized, he journeyed into the wilderness for forty days and was tempted by the Devil. Turning stones into bread, bowing to Satan, and putting God to the test were the three temptations with which the Evil One thought he could win over Jesus
