Today we are joined by Justin Chandler and Liam Lancaster to talk about the first ever NAGA comp in Hickory NC. We had a ton of participation and support from the Fenix team and we wanted to share our thoughts. We had so many students compete that we relied heavily on Chan and Liam to cover the matches that we couldn't. Overall we had a great time and hope to welcome many more grappling tournaments to Hickory.
Join us on our journey to life, liberty, drinking beer, and the pursuit of choking neck and collecting checks.
We had an excellent time talking with Kim and our new co-host Nicole. Kim is a very active and successful Jiu-Jitsu competitor. She is also a Physical Therapist and mother, which are both very time consuming jobs. So all of you "I don't have time" people should take notes. Hope to have her back on soon.
Dr. Henderson is a Chiropractor and a Martial Arts Historian. He has trained in multiple disciplines and studied many more. We have him teach seminars from time to time, hopefully more regularly, and he is an excellent Instructor as well. Scully is a Blue Belt and OG of Fenix. He is a former Ranger and former aid to the Catawba County Democratic party. We wanted to have him on to discuss how local politics work and how we could be more influential and supportive to various candidates and parties, but Bebber would not shut the hell up. So enjoy.....or whatever.
On this podcast we had the pleasure of sitting down with a local legend in Jiu-Jitsu, Catch Wrassin', and MMA. Michael Allen is a second degree Black Belt and Owner of Checkmat Charlotte.
