During the golden age of radio, many detective programs. aired. While some built cult followings that survive to this day, others faded into the mists of history, forgotten, leaving only a few episodes to prove their existence. All the programs featured here have three-nine episodes in circulation and are not in any of the other Great Detective group feeds other than the Lady Sleuths feed. Some programs like T-man aired only for a Summer, while others such as the Crime Files of Flammond aired hundreds of episodes that have been lost to the ages. There's a wide variety of programs. The Big Guy follows the adventures of a widowertrying to raise two children while being a two-fisted private eye. The Air Mail Mystery features courageous Irene Delroy in 1932 trying to solve a series of airborne mail robberies. Meanwhile, boys school headmaster and Shakespeare look-alike Leonidas Witherall finds himself constantly involved mysteries. We featured a bit of everything: defense lawyers, a clarinet players, police officers, federal agents, and a hard boiled private eye or two. Your host Adam Graham is your guide and will introduce you to each of these interesting but forgotten crimefighters.
