This week, in Roebuck, South Carolina, police are called to beauty salon, to find the owner, horribly attacked & murdered, hanging from a duffle bag strap. There are several suspects, including her husband, a prisoner who confessed, and a young man, who told everyone that he wanted to date the dead woman. Even with DNA, it's a mystery, until a chance meeting causes a witness to come forward, unraveling the killer's whole world. Was this the only time he's killed?Along the way, we find out that you just can't stop the kids from writing with quill pens, that there's nothing worse than having to cut an annoying person's hair, and that even if someone confesses, there may be someone much guiltier, out there!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! This week, in Sunnyside, California, a slaughter of three people, in an upscale suburban home, makes the area fear for their lives, but this turns out to be anything but random. It's actually a very calculated plan, concocted by a young man who idolized jailed stock swindlers, and murderous members of "The Billionaire Boys Club". This ruthless act allows him access to millions of dollars, and spend cash like the Menendez brothers!! Will he ever pay??Along the way, we find out Ludacris is inescapable, that greediness can form in childhood, and that if you murder your parents, you may want to hire a professional!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! Two weeks ago, I drove across the country to turn myself in on an arrest warrant out of Walton County, Florida. I am facing two third degree felony charges related to carrying out my duties as the assistant county administrator. Though I am innocent until proven guilty and I am confident that I will prevail in court -- I also recognize that in the court of public opinion one is often seen as guilty until proven innocent. As someone who prides himself on being transparent and unafraid of facing difficult circumstances and challenges head on -- I wanted to give those who follow me more information and greater context about the circumstances that have brought me and my former boss, who is also facing the same charges, to this point in time. Make no mistake -- we were two outsiders who posed as an existential threat to the status quo in Walton County. In December 2023, we blew the whistle and asked the Walton County Sheriff's Office to investigate various matters. Unfortunately, the justice system has been weaponized against us and we are now the victims of political lawfare. AP correspondent Charles de Ledesma reports Turkish police have arrested Istanbul's mayor, part of a series of probes into alleged corruption and terror links.
As grotesque and troubled a story as it is - the arrest of Justin Eichorn for allegedly soliciting sex with a 17 year old which evidently was a sting operation where an law enforcement agent posed as the “teenager” and there is a lot to unpack from it but also it is pretty straightforward. We talked to former Representative Pat Garofalo about the arrest, how this compares to Sen. Mitchell committing felony burglary, federal accountability with crimes as well. Also asked him about the effectiveness of townhalls, inflation and more!

In this gripping episode of Crime Time, Inc., we delve into the harrowing 1984 murder of Mary McLaughlin, a beloved mother of 11 from Glasgow. Mary was found strangled in her flat, a crime that left her community and police baffled as initial investigations hit numerous roadblocks. Limited forensic technology and a reluctant community hindered the search for her killer, making the case grow cold. Decades later, advancements in DNA technology breathed new life into the investigation. The pivotal breakthrough came when forensic scientists re-examined the dressing gown cord used to strangle Mary, extracting a DNA profile that led them to a man named Graham McGill. McGill, who was already a convicted criminal, had been on temporary release from prison at the time of the murder. Additional damning evidence emerged when his ex-wife revealed that McGill had confessed to her years earlier. In 2019, McGill was arrested and, despite the emotional and logistical challenges caused by the pandemic-related delays, was finally brought to trial in 2021. He was found guilty and sentenced to life in prison. This episode underscores the power of forensic science and the relentless pursuit of justice, providing hope to other families with unsolved cases.00:00 Introduction to the Case00:31 The Night of the Crime00:57 Initial Investigation Challenges02:14 Family's Struggle for Justice03:11 Breakthrough in the Cold Case06:17 The Arrest of Graham McGill08:31 The Trial and Verdict10:50 Reflections and Conclusion Hosted on Acast. This week, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, there seems to be multiple people with motives for murder, when a brutally murdered man is found, on a dirt road, seemingly murdered while changing a tire. His wife & her best friend are suspects, along with the woman he's having an affair with & that woman's husband, and possibly a few others. Will cell tower data, and some statements to detectives that don't quite add up, convict someone for murder?? Did the right people even get arrested?Along the way, we find out that you can't tow a big boat with Honda Accord, that six adults should never live together in one trailer, and that going to prison for the rest of your life is a lot to ask of a friend!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports! Through the eyes of one pastor in Phoenix, WHEN THE WOLVES CAME shows how some evangelicals are banding together to fight back – and how their efforts can fit into a bigger movement to defend democracy in the U.S. Links Apple Spotify Brad and Dan discuss the recent arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a pro-Palestinian activist and green card holder, by the Trump administration. They dissect comments by Speaker of the House Mike Johnson and delve into the Christian nationalist connections to Khalil's arrest, notably through Project Esther by the Heritage Foundation. The discussion expands to related educational issues, focusing on actions by the Trump administration to undermine the Department of Education and how these moves align with broader Christian nationalist agendas. Additionally, there's an analysis of Democratic responses to recent events and what they signify for the future political landscape. This week, in Lenexa, Kansas, a lifelong con man slowly evolves into a prolific serial killer, luring women in with promises of jobs, money, and kinky sex, but all they ended up getting, was murdered. All of this, while maintaining the image of an upstanding father, husband, kid's sports coach & Sunday school teacher, but also running a residential brothel, and recruiting sex partners, under the screen name "Slavemaster"!!Along the way, we find out that BBQ, or spinach are apparently the only foods available in Kansas, that if someone offers you a job, that includes strange sex, that might be the best job, and that just because someone wears a tie, and combs their hair, it doesn't mean they don't have several bodies, rotting in oil drums!!New episodes every Thursday!Donate at: patreon.com/crimeinsports or go to paypal.com and use our email: crimeinsports@gmail.comGo to shutupandgivememurder.com for all things Small Town Murder & Crime In Sports!Follow us on...twitter.com/@murdersmallfacebook.com/smalltownpodinstagram.com/smalltownmurderAlso, check out James & Jimmie's other show, Crime In Sports!
