The theme for our July 16th show was MANIFEST- about all that we choose to create. Our June show was all about that sweet, sweet self care and was kicked off by DJ Energy (Alexius Diana) who brought ALL the healing crystals. Lauren wore her haunted purse and chatted with Fareeha Khan (artist/writer/comedian), heard music from Killy Dwyer (Mock Star), and then gabbed it up with Gabe Morales all while Erica Bradbury from Species by the Thousands showcased her witchy wares. On May 18th 2019 we gathered together under the full moon to discuss our past selves. DJ Energy (Alexius Diana) kicked off the show with a blessing and then Selena Coppock regaled us with tales of wandering the woods as a wee lass. Then we all vowed to bring back the bowl cut. Rosa Escadon discussed the joys of wearing a leotard while never learning to dance and Gabe Morales took us on a wig-filled walk down memory lane. Then we dished with DJ Sheila B about the magic of music and she played us out with a witch-tastic playlist. Recorded live at The Peoples Improv Theater. For our Love Magic episode we chat with musician/composer Michael Harren and he regales us with some entrancing ambient pieces. Poet/historian Ivan Lett dishes about dogs, his neighborhood, and reads from his upcoming project Haarlem Reborn. Then we sit down with Debbie Allen and Midge Blitz from Cult Party to gab about "the peddler circuit", how they cater to their customers' love magic requests, and the joy of "dick crystals". Mercury was in retrograde for this show... but we did it anyway. The theme was Animal Familiars and featured Animal Communicator Ilka Pinheiro and a panel of comedians who love their cats (Chelsea White, Rena Zager & Tarik Daniels). Plus a representative from For Animals, Inc. showed us cats available for adoption and Holy Crow showcased her witchy wares.
