After a quick catch-up, Jaci and Chelsey dive into the theme, mantra, anthem — whatever you want to call it — for 2026: the Year of the Horse. Known for bold, fast-moving energy, this year is all about confidence and momentum. The girls go even deeper into the fire element of the Horse, a combo famous for turning up the heat and pushing big risks, career pivots, and undeniable main-character decisions. Translation: trust your instincts, move with intention, and stop apologizing for wanting more. In true What We Said fashion, they'll break down what all of this actually looks like in real life (like ruthless screen time regiments) and how to ride the energy instead of fighting it.!!! My motivation for this episode is personal. One of my resolutions this year is to spend more time hosting and to make those gatherings more meaningful.I think a lot of us wish we had better social lives and a stronger feeling of community around us. But it's hard. We're busy, we're tired, and social planning and hosting can feel like just more work. So I asked Priya Parker on the show to help.Parker is the author of “The Art of Gathering: How We Meet and Why It Matters” and a wonderful Substack, Group Life. She's also a conflict resolution facilitator. And she just thinks about gathering and hosting in a different way from anyone else I've ever met. For her, it's about more than just throwing a great dinner party; it's about how we build community across differences, all the way up to how gathering can help create a better politics. The way Zohran Mamdani's mayoral campaign thought about community and built community among its volunteers was partly based on her work and advice. This episode is a bit of a break from politics — but also not. Because pulling the people we love closer and spending more time together rather than alone are as essential as any political or civic discipline could be right now. This conversation contains strong language.Mentioned:In Defense of Politics by Bernard CrickI And Thou by Martin BuberThe Loneliness of Sonia and Sunny by Kiran Desai“Adorable Little Detonators” by Allison P. Of course codewords are found in the Epstein Library on the DOJ website, as are news articles and all other bits of information found to be relevant to official investigations. But codewords about hotdogs, pizza, and ice cream do not prove “pizza gate” to be a real conspiracy, since the base of said theory is factually untrue. Interestingly, there is one document which notes how “pizza gate” was employed to discredit victims of human trafficking and sex slavery and to undermine the reality of “spirit cooking.” The use of words like “goyim” or “goyum” are found in approximately 50 searches in the DOJ archive, yet nearly all are part of the same chain of documents and most are found in news articles. They are not commonly employed by Epstein or anyone else in the files, with exception to Peggy Siegal. Peggy apparently didn't bother using code, asking in one email if someone desired a baby boy or girl. Another document details the Great Work of alchemy, a coven, pints of Mormon blood, and a fertility ritual. In another, one victim says they were raped by numerous presidents and witnessed a baby (babies) being killed, torn apart, and eaten on a yacht. They also witnessed blacks being forced to have sex with blonde girls who were being beaten until bloody. These are just a few of the details which reinforce the stereotypes and the historical accusations against Jewish elites. The kidnapping of children, the draining of their blood, the cannibalism, the running of interracialpornography, etc, and, as reported by the above witness, the eating a feces. If a child is the greatest gift from God and cleanliness is next to godliness, then the sacrifice of that child, and filth, is the greatest insult to God, and the closest thing to evil.*The is the FREE archive, which includes advertisements. When Henry VIII died at Whitehall Palace in January 1547, England faced a dangerous moment. His heir was nine years old, power was about to shift, and the death of a king had to be handled with extreme care. In this video, we follow Henry VIII from his deathbed through one of the most elaborate royal funerals of the sixteenth century. We look at how his body was prepared, why his burial was delayed, how the funeral procession moved from Whitehall to Windsor, and what those towering candle-filled hearses actually were. Along the way, we examine one of the most enduring stories associated with Henry's death - the claim that his coffin burst open at Syon Abbey - and why that story almost certainly isn't true. We also explore Henry's plans for a monumental tomb and a perpetual chantry at St George's Chapel, Windsor, and why neither was ever completed. Despite the scale of his funeral, Henry VIII ended up buried without a visible monument, his vault unmarked for centuries. In this episode, Ben Azadi reveals a simple 10-minute daily ritual that helps activate stem cells, support fat loss, improve energy, and slow biological aging. Instead of extreme workouts or stimulants, Ben explains how the body responds to precise biological signals that restore cellular repair. You'll learn why aging is not about getting older, but about being under-repaired, and how declining stem cell signaling, NAD+ levels, and mitochondrial function drive fatigue, fat gain, and brain fog, especially after age 35. Ben breaks down three easy daily rituals: A morning light and movement stack to activate fat-burning and stem cell repair A midday cellular reset that supports NAD+ levels, focus, and metabolic energy without caffeine crashes An evening fasted wind-down routine that enhances deep sleep, brain detox, and overnight repair He also explains why recovery, sleep, and cellular energy matter more than willpower, and how consistency with simple habits can dramatically improve metabolic health and longevity. What if the things we may tend to roll our eyes at—rituals, journaling, gratitude—are actually ancient technologies for healing? AND, they are now being backed by modern science!  In this episode, I'm joined by my new friend, bestselling author and former Comedy Central executive Tara Schuster, to talk about her new book, This Journal F*cking Works: The Science, Ritual, and Art of Journaling, and the practices that quietly but profoundly change lives. Our conversation bridges science and spirit, skepticism and surrender, as Tara shares how journaling—something she once completely dismissed—became a lifeline, a ritual, and the road back to herself. We talk about reparenting ourselves, inner-child healing, and why grief and gratitude aren't opposites but companions. We explore how our culture's loss of ritual has left us overstimulated, disconnected, and dis-eased and why creating sacred pauses in your day can fundamentally change the way you experience your life. Tara also shares how burnout, success, and self-abandonment led her back to the simplest tools—and why science now supports what intuition and our ancestors have always known. From a SAND Community Gathering (December 2025), Francis Weller joins SAND co-founders Zaya and Maurizio Benazzo for a wide-ranging conversation on grief, initiation, and the sacred thresholds of a changing world. They speak of rough passages and necessary descents—of what must burn away, and what endures. With Francis's steady guidance, sorrow, longing, beauty, and vulnerability are reclaimed not as weaknesses, but as profound sources of strength, orientation, and soul knowledge. Rooted in the soulcraft teachings of his book In the Absence of the Ordinary, the dialogue unfolds in a spirit of reverence and remembrance. Together, they explore the unraveling of the familiar as an invitation into deeper belonging—grief as a living portal, and beauty as a practice of staying close to what is sacred, even in times of descent. Rhythm, ritual and reverie are interconnected. They are interwoven in a way that has invoked an experience of the sacred as long as humans have been around. Rhythm gives birth to cycles of becoming and ending. We can align ourselves to existence by paying attention to life's rhythms, which bring us to feel our connection and place in the weave of everything. In ordinary life, rhythm shows up in our routines. These can become portals, sacred doorways which help us to ground and self-regulate. Having a conscious relationship to fluid and creative routines is different than having a collection of mechanical habits that buffer us from reality. Awareness of our state is healing in itself. Ancient people answered big questions of life through communal ritual. The winter solstice is a threshold moment in the rhythm of the year. In times of craziness that come from woundedness, routine and ritual can make a difference. Little practical things can be anchored and ritualized. Rituals are a way we can invoke divine help. When we ask for help, it's the beginning of laying our burdens down. What burdens do we carry that are not ours to carry? What burdens are we meant to carry? Sometimes we must turn our burdens over to a power that is greater than us. There are three levels of symbols: practical, metaphorical and universal. Sometimes we carry each other when a burden is very great. Through presence we can experience wonder and awe, and court the possibility of reverie. In reverie, we lay our burdens down, open a doorway to revelation, and attune to our deepest Self without effort. For those of us who are ready, please me for another installment of our newly named series, ‘Survivor Stories'. We will provide a platform for any & all survivors who want to tell their story & have people listen. This is where we have a honest discussion & a hard look at the truth, directly from a survivor.Today's guest is Kaity, aka StellarFox16. Kaity is a true fighter, an inspiration. She is a true testament to the full strength & durability of the human spirit fighting for justice. Her refusal to stop fighting for what was right, has led here to this moment, with all of us. After lots of hard work, she has gained back her strength & her power, bit by bit, until it has once again, rightfully became hers. Her story begins with being exposed to SRA/Monarch style programming, which began at birth & lasted until she was 11 years old. Her bio-father was/is a project monarch/occult programmer & handler. When her dad's “activities” slowed down, he married Mena Suvari's mother. Up until this point, she was trafficked, passed around different cult(s) her dad was in contact with or worked for by programming and other favors. She was also used for CP, put in hunting parties, mansion parties, and many other things.Kaity's story is one of true darkness & pure evil, it is hard to write something about it… But her story is also about perseverance, healing, overcoming & adapting to circumstances only to come out the other side doing so well in fact, that she has decided to expose these forces by highlighting what she experienced first hand. This is a mission we share mutually. So let's expose the truth by shining a purifying light on all of it. Let's leave no dark corner for the rats to hide in. Her latest book, This Journal F*cking Works, offers a science-backed and historical look at why journaling is so powerful, woven together with humor and Tara's own journey of rewriting internal narratives to break free from toxic, repetitive thought loops. It's an invitation to start “DMing with your soul” and to open up neural pathways of self-understanding, emotional processing, and healing.Jessica and Tara unpack why ritual matters. Not everything is about maximizing habits, productivity, or “doing it right.” Real transformation often comes from giving your brain space to process lived experience: to be honest, imperfect, and fully human. With this outlook, journaling becomes a bridge between science and intuition, seamlessly supporting your own TBM and personal growth practice. This conversation is for anyone who feels stuck in mental loops, wants a grounded and research-backed way to connect more deeply with intuition, and yearns to understand who they are at their core.**Trigger warning: Discussion of self-harm and abusive family dynamics at 00:07:10 through 00:09:28**Find the complete show notes here -> https://tobemagnetic.com/expanded-podcast Resources: Return to Magic - 15 Day Manifestation ChallengeA 15-day guided journey to reparent your inner child, reconnect with your magic, and step into this new year as your most confident, regulated, and magnetic self yet. Why a ballgame can become a ritual and how shared attention carries meaning across generations. In this solo episode, Corey reflects on a conversation with his oldest child that began with skepticism about sports and opened into something deeper. Being a fan of the New York Mets becomes a case study in disciplined hope, inherited memory, and the quiet work of staying present with one another. Not because anyone is convinced. But because something is shared. This episode also offers a window into why Corey co-hosts East Meets West Sports with Rick Garcia and why sports, at their best, are not an escape from the world but another way of understanding it. Blair Horton Blair Horton is a holistic nutritionist, natural chef, and author of the new book: Everyday Elixirs. Her love for nourishing the body met her desire to create drinks that feel special. Our beloved listeners and wayward souls, we write to you from the glittery halls of memory, where two hundred and fifty episodes now flutter like sequined gowns on a brightly-lit stage of times past. Our hearts are heavy with laughter, saturated with love, and perfumed by a joyous feeling so thick you could spread it like Marmite on toast. Each episode was a bejeweled hour of gossip and grace, where movie reviews unfurled like velvet curtains in a grand cinema of the mind, and our voices learned, again and again, how to harmonize bite with tenderness, snark with sincerity, and spectacle with soul. Yet betwixt the comedy, there were seasons of rain tapping their impatient nails against the chalkboard of our lives, a recurring guest star who refused to be written out, summoning with it an evil chorus of black mold. Through spores silently multiplying, dehumidifiers humming like a Viennese choir, and the sound of us constantly googling mold remediation companies in the greater Los Angeles area, we loved, we laughed, and we proved that fun can be had regardless of the state of one's drywall and keepsakes. Let these past 250 episodes serve as weathered love letters to you all, damp at the edges but radiant at the center; forever echoing with the sound of two queens dancing in the rain like everyone is watching. Thanks for the past 250, and we can't wait for the next 250. This week, I'm sitting down with one of my favorites, Rachel Bilson, for a fun, honest, girl chat. From growing up in L.A. and sneaking into Hollywood clubs as a teenager to getting into trouble, Rachel shares how she somehow managed to stay grounded through it all. She talks about getting the partying out of her system early — long before the job that turned her into an early-2000s icon.We dive into that whole era of fame, including the harder parts: the public relationships, the headlines, and how they've made her censor herself today. Rachel opens up about dating now and what she's genuinely looking for — including whether marriage or more kids are still on the table. We break down co-parenting, her relationship patterns, and the surprising peace that comes from being completely content on your own. Rachel also shares the mindset she wishes she'd had in her 20s (and what she hopes younger women hear today).Plus, Rachel on Broadway, Dancing With the Stars, and the mom conversations we all have: wanting our kids to actually come to us in high school, and why she's holding off on giving her daughter a phone for as long as possible.A word from my sponsors:Armra - Go to armra.com/HONEST or enter HONEST to get 30% off your first subscription order.Bon Charge - Go to boncharge.com/HONEST and use coupon code HONEST to save 15%.Skims - Shop my favorite bras and underwear at http://www.skims.com/honest #skimspartnerRitual - For a limited time, save 40% on your first month at Ritual.com/BEHONEST.Hiya - Receive 50% off your first order.
