So this is it. This is how another sad Toronto Maple Leafs Season ends. I can't even bother to write a full writeup. If this team puts in efforts like that, then why the hell should we put in a big effort to follow them. Man oh man. Stop me if you've heard this one before but.....there's always next year. The story of our lives. F**k
This podcast episode is recorded on a very sweet day. The day the beloved Toronto Maple Leafs came back from 3-0 deficit with less than 4 minutes left to play. Listen as Skip and Stu relive the emotion of the game and discuss what could be a turning point for the Leafs.
Well, it has happened. After an abysmal Game 1, the Leafs circled their wagons and played perhaps their most complete 60 minutes in years. At just the right time. In this podcast episode, Skip and Stu will discuss games 1 + 2 of the Columbus play-in series. Tune in, and then write us with your thoughts on anything Leaf related at leaftalkinternational@gmail.com. Cheers!

In perhaps the strangest week in the history of the NHL, and the strangest week on earth in modern times, the sports world has ground to a halt. Skip and Stu discuss the final Leaf game that was, the state of things under the coronavirus reality we are all living, and where things could go from here. Please write to us at leaftalkinternational@gmail.com and let us know if you'd like us to continue releasing weekly episodes and if so, what would like to hear us talk about? All suggestions are welcome, or we too could go on hiatus along with the NHL. Stay safe, be strong, and take care of whoever you find yourself next to in the coming weeks.
Well, the ups and downs this season are back to the downs. With a chance to grab firm hold of a playoff spot the lads manage to get 1 point in the California trip. Piss poor. The championship is set and on March 14 at 7:15pm Bangkok time will be broadcast live on Facebook under the handle @thailandtv.tv so check it out! 1

It's never easy being a Leafs fan, but this week it's downright excruciating. Stu and Skip dissect the back-to-back vs. Pittsburgh and then delve into what very well be the worst loss in the history of the sport. We lost to a tired team, while playing at home, and they had our zamboni driver in net, who only has one kidney. It sounds unbelievable, but sadly it is true. Join us as we continue to be the conscience of this unconscionable team. And tell your friends....if you dare.
In this episode, Swearin' Scott joins Skip and Stu live! We review the 4 Maple Leafs games that took place this week, ending with the dreadful loss to Buffalo. Also, the listener email bag was full this week and we get to all of that so tune in, and tell your friends.
The season marches on, and Kyle Dubas finally pulls the trigger an acquires backup goalie Jack Campbell. Skip and Stu dissect this trade, and get into the week's games that were. Why can't this team hold a 3rd period lead any more?? Listen in, and hear what we have to say. Don't forget to email us at leaftalkinternational@gmail.com and tell us what you think.....will the Leafs make the playoffs??
With the all-star break done, the Leafs enter the home stretch in a horse race for a playoff spot. With nothing guaranteed, they need to come out strong and keep the train rolling along. Skip and Stu go over the first 3 games back, vs. Nashville, Dallas, and Ottawa. Have a listen and write us at leaftalkinternational@gmail.com and let us know if you think the Boys in Blue are gonna make the playoffs or not.
It's the all-star and there's no Leaf games to talk about. So Skip and Stu are taking the week off but don't fret, because we're delivering you a very special piece of archive footage during this Leaf Talk International 'bye week'. We will take you all the way back to the last game ever played at The Maple Leaf Gardens. LTI has gained exclusive access to perhaps the only on-the-street account of what went on that night....one of the biggest nights in Toronto's history. So give a listen to this unique and zany 12 minute report.
In the last episode before the All-Star break, Stu and Skip provide some hard hitting journalism as they answer the burning question from last week's episode....do Danish people really eat a lot of Danishes? Meanwhile, Skip is on the scene as Tim Horton's opens their first ever outpost in Thailand. The Toronto Maple Leafs limp and sputter into the break and now find themselves on the outside of the playoff seeds. Ouch. Enjoy this episode and see you after the break!
Well it wasn't a great week for the Toronto Maple Leafs. Skip and Stu dissect the week that was, and look at how the team is now back on the bubble and fighting for a playoff position. To lighten things up, Stu has another great interview with The Italian Chef, and Swearin' Scott from Samui reports as to why the glass is actually half full. Join us as we ride the roller coaster all season long. And please, for the love of god, would you email us at leaftalkinternational@gmail.com and tell us if Danes really eat a lot of Danishes.

If you want to hear some words of wisdom, wait to you hear the interview with Irish Pat! Excitement is at a high as the roller coaster of a season continues. Join hosts Skip and Stu for the ride! Share with your friends and subscribe to get each new episode, posted weekly!
The Leafs did what they needed to do on the West Coast Road Trip through Canada. Picked up 3 out or 4 wins to keep the early playoff hopes alive. Meanwhile, Skip was on the road in Nepal and searches for Morgan Rielly in the Himalayas. Stu provides great insight into the week that was in Leafland. All in all, a great episode so sit back, enjoy and share with your friends. A slightly hungover and tired Skip and Stu discuss a week where the Maple Leafs won 2 out of 3 games. They also run through the Bill Peters firing. And The Italian Chef Returns!
What a week in Leafland! As called for just last week on Leaf Talk International, Mike Babcock is fired and Sheldon Keefe is named coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs. So how did the team respond? Perfectly! In this week's episode, Skip and Stu can't contain their excitement for their new move, and let out some pent up frustration about Babcock. The season has officially begun. Don't forget to email us at leaftalkinternational@gmail.com with any comments, thoughts or suggestions on how to make the show better.
This is a sad, depressing episode. Skip and Stu give their unfiltered thoughts on the firing of Don Cherry. They also discuss what could be the worst week for The Toronto Maple Leafs in the Auston Matthews era. Does Mike Babcock have to go? Email us your thoughts at leaftalkinternational@gmail.com and we'll read your opinion on next week's episode.
This week's episode is ram jammed with guests. Skip interviews Shawn from Osaka, a Canadian living abroad for the past 20 years who has found a hockey league in Osaka and is here to tell LTI all about it. Swearin' Scott checks in with his usual Leaf wisdom and Stu goes deep on The Italian Chef. Wait, that didn't sound right. Oh yeah, and there's a whole lotta Leaf talk as well!! Enjoy!
A slow week for the Toronto Maple Leafs, but a busy week for Leaf Talk International. Skip and Stu review the Leafs' 3rd week of the season. We beat Boston. 'nuff said.
Week 2 of the season is in the books, and an up and down week it was for the Maple Leafs. Kind of like the weather in Japan with a Typhoon rolling through. This episode also marks the first ever contribution from Scotty on Samui who left some candid thoughts on the games vs. St. Louis and Detroit.
