Communication or the Lack of it, is a huge component in relationships or marriage. Many of us understand this, but continue to suffer in our marriages simply because we don't study and practice the game of communication. In this episode, Alycia points out that while the lack of communication is a big problem..., shutting down and allowing hours, days or even weeks to go by without interacting with your mate is poisonous to the relationship.JOIN THE DISCUSSION in our private Facebook Group > https://www.facebook.com/groups/858673505063906/

We celebrate 23 years of marriage in the city where we met close to 28 years ago. The bonus is that we spend it with our great friends Glenn P. and Sheri Brooks Jr.. We discuss many things but particularly the synchronicities in life and relationships. Synchronicity is a concept, first introduced by analytical psychologist Carl Jung, which holds that events are "meaningful coincidences" if they occur with no causal relationship yet seem to be meaningfully related. We've come across many of the years..., and share a few in this episode.
In this early morning episode, We discuss the process, it's many obstacles and how in many instances a slight mental adjustment can smooth out all the perceived pains.
In this Episode, we talk about our extra long road trip this past weekend and how the inner me wanted to complain about the fact that it was taking forever and that traffic was horrendous. We also discussed how my uncle has been a great example of why complaining only worsens the situation.
In this episode, Alycia & I share some of our small success and activities of the weekend and a short conversation on "finishing what we start" or in our case "finishing what we've started" over the years in marriage & life.
In our very first episode, we discuss the realities of life, the process of building a business and the importance of being super honest with yourself along the way.
