In this episode of Storage Wins, Alex Pardo challenges Dan Wentzel to confront one of the biggest hidden obstacles investors face: lack of intentional control over their calendar. After reviewing the previous week, it becomes clear that progress isn't just about knowing what actions to take—it's about protecting the time required to execute those actions. Alex explains why operating without a clear plan is like being a leaf in the wind—reacting to whatever comes your way instead of intentionally directing your week. Together, they unpack the importance of structuring your calendar, planning your work blocks, and protecting the activities that actually move deals forward. This episode becomes a powerful reminder that building a business isn't only about strategy or knowledge—it's about discipline, time ownership, and committing to the daily actions that create results. ⸻ You'll Learn How To: Take control of your calendar so your priorities don't get dictated by others Structure your week to create intentional time for deal-making activities Recognize when lack of planning is slowing your progress Turn vague goals into scheduled action blocks Protect focused time for conversations, underwriting, and follow-ups Build momentum by aligning daily habits with long-term goals ⸻ What You'll Learn in This Episode: [0:00] Why controlling your calendar is essential to success [1:37] Recap of the Season 2 coaching journey with Dan [2:30] Why resistance always shows up when you pursue meaningful goals [3:33] How momentum can disappear when life interrupts your routine [3:55] Alex challenges Dan to be honest about the past week [5:10] Why operating without a plan leads to lost time [7:15] The "leaf in the wind" analogy for unstructured schedules [10:02] Why intentional planning increases productivity [13:48] Structuring your calendar around meaningful actions [17:26] The difference between activity and progress [20:14] Aligning daily actions with the goal of buying your first storage facility ⸻ Who This Episode Is For: Investors who feel busy but struggle to make real progress Listeners who find their weeks slipping away without meaningful output Anyone trying to balance investing goals with work and family responsibilities Operators who want to become more intentional with their time and focus ⸻ Why You Should Listen: Many investors believe they need more knowledge, more resources, or more opportunities to succeed. In reality, they often just need better control over their time. This episode highlights how easily momentum can be lost when your calendar isn't aligned with your goals. By becoming more intentional with how you plan and protect your time, you create the space needed for meaningful conversations, deal analysis, and consistent follow-up. If you've ever felt like your week disappeared without moving you closer to your goals, this conversation will challenge you to take back control of your schedule—and your progress. ⸻ Follow Alex Pardo here: Alex Pardo Website: https://alexpardo.com/ Alex Pardo Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/alexpardo15 Alex Pardo Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/alexpardo25 Alex Pardo YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AlexPardo Storage Wins Website: https://storagewins.com/ ⸻ Have conversations with at least three storage owners, brokers, private lenders, or equity partners inside the Storage Wins Facebook Group. In this episode of the Experience Miracles podcast, Dr. Tony Ebel addresses one of the most emotionally loaded questions he receives: what happens to premature and NICU babies long-term — and what can families do about it? Drawing from both his clinical expertise and his deeply personal experience with his own son Oliver, Dr. Tony walks parents through the neuroscience of why NICU babies get stuck in survival mode, what steroids, vaccines, and medical interventions do to an already-stressed nervous system, and — most importantly — the drug-free, nervous-system-focused path to healing. This episode is equal parts heart, science, and actionable strategy for any family navigating life before, during, or long after a NICU stay.-----Links & ResourcesHow to Best Advocate for Your Child in Medical Decision Making (And High Stress Hospital Visits) [Apple/Spotify]Free Articles on Developmental Delays: https://pxdocs.com/developmental-delays/-----Key Topics & Timestamps00:00 Introduction & What This Episode Covers 05:00 Why He Left the Statistics Out — And Why That Matters for You 08:00 The Three-Factor Perfect Storm Explained 11:00 Oliver's Story: Six Weeks, Two NICUs, Fighting for Every Decision 17:00 The Neuroscience of Fetal Development & the Vagus Nerve 27:00 Why Physical Separation in the NICU Is Neurological Separation 33:00 Chiropractic Adjustments in the NICU: What Dr. Tony Did for Oliver 41:00 Steroids & Vaccines: The Nervous System Science Behind the Concern 47:00 Developmental Milestones: Birthday Age vs. Brain Development Age 55:00 The Four-Step Action Plan for Getting Your Child Out of the Storm 01:02:00 The Closing Truth: Healing Is Possible at Any Age-- Follow us on Socials: Instagram: @pxdocs Facebook: Dr. Tony Ebel & The PX Docs Network Youtube: The PX Docs For more information, visit PXDocs.com to read informative articles about the power of Neurologically-Focused Chiropractic Care. If your content is getting likes, saves, and "this is gold" comments, but your calendar is still empty, you may not have a lead problem at all. In this episode, Jason reveals why most educational content actually trains audiences not to buy, and why the real issue lies in your prospects' beliefs, not your marketing volume. Instead of teaching more tips, the episode introduces the concept of belief-shifting content—a strategy that systematically changes the seven key beliefs prospects hold before they're willing to invest. By shifting how your audience sees their problem, the solution, urgency, and trust in you, your content can pre-sell leads so that by the time they book a call, they're already ready to buy. "The more educational content you post, the more you're actually psychologically training your audience not to buy from you." What You'll Walk Away With: Education doesn't always drive sales: Too much teaching can train your audience to solve the problem themselves. Buyers act based on beliefs: If key beliefs aren't aligned, prospects won't purchase. Influence matters more than information: Information is everywhere—what converts is making people feel understood. Seven beliefs drive buying decisions: Problem, doubt, urgency, money, method, help, and trust. Content should pre-sell prospects: Address objections in content before they reach a sales call. I didn't learn until I was 40 years old that my body moves through four distinct phases every single month — and that each one of those phases affects my mood, my energy, my patience, and my ability to connect with the people I love. Which means that the version of me who felt so present and empathetic last Tuesday wasn't just "having a good day." And the version of me who snapped at everyone before dinner on Friday wasn't failing. Both of those women were showing up exactly on schedule — I just didn't have the language for it yet. This episode is about what becomes possible when we finally have that language, and how empowering it is to understand our bodies well enough to show up the way we actually want to — and to have real grace for ourselves when that's harder. This week's guest is Shara Jackson Harper, a licensed mental health therapist, hormone and cycle guide, and mother of five who helps women understand how their internal rhythms shape the way they show up for the people they love most. In this episode, you'll learn: ✨ The golden conversation Shara had with her 15-year-old son — and the specific reason she believes the timing made all the difference ✨ Why most women are often carrying a "basket of shame" about their hard days, and what Shara says we can do with it instead ✨ The simple three-part formula Shara uses to talk to her own family about where she is in her cycle — and why her kids actually know what "lower bandwidth week" means So here's to understanding ourselves a little better, giving ourselves a little more grace, and showing up for our people in the ways we actually want to. In 2026, we're slowing down to soak in the story that invites us to believe. The Gospel of John doesn't just tell us what Jesus did—it reveals who He is. Through signs and stories, questions and conversations, light and life, John calls us again and again to “come and see.” Over the next year, we'll walk with Jesus from the opening words—“In the beginning”—to the empty tomb, discovering how encountering Christ shapes our faith, our hope, and our everyday lives. This is more than a study; it's an invitation to deeper belief and fuller life. Learn more with Pastor Young. When lifelong churchgoers Sean Walsh and Don Roth dug deep into Scripture, original languages, and biblical chronology, they became convinced that much of mainstream Christianity rests on three major errors. In this episode, they join Robert Plank to unpack their book The Three Pillars of False Doctrine and explain why they believe the traditional Friday death / Sunday resurrection, the popular form of the Trinity doctrine, and the modern idea of church as a building or organization all fail the test of the Bible itself. Drawing on Don's work creating a day‑by‑day Biblical calendar from Genesis forward and Sean's “Unlock the Word” ministry, they walk through key passages on the Sabbath, the Godhead, and church, and show how translation choices and tradition have shaped what most believers assume is “just Christianity.” Rather than asking anyone to join a new denomination, Sean and Don challenge listeners to be Bereans checking every sermon, creed, and holiday against Scripture. They discuss why Christ's “three days and three nights” matters, how Ezekiel and Acts are commonly misread to support Sunday worship, and why knowing who the God of the Old Testament is changes how you read the entire Bible. If you've ever felt that certain doctrines didn't quite add up, this conversation and the resources at UnlockTheWord.com and BiblicalCalendarProof.com invite you to put your traditions on the table and let the Bible speak for itself. Quotes: “If your timeline for Christ doesn't fit three days and three nights, it's not the Scripture that needs to move it's your doctrine.” Don Roth “Church isn't a business or a building; Ecclesia is the people God has called out. If you think ‘church' is a place you go on Sunday, you've already missed the context.” Sean Walsh “When you finally read the Bible without defending your denomination, you discover how many ‘non‑negotiable' doctrines collapse under the weight of Scripture.” Sean Walsh Resources: Unlock the World THE 3 PILLARS OF FALSE DOCTRINE
What if you're not “bad at time management”… you're just leaking energy in places that don't matter? In Healthy Mind, Healthy Life hosted by Yusuf, executive coach Mark Briggs unpacks why high performers hit a wall—even when the calendar looks “managed.” This episode is for leaders, founders, and ambitious professionals who feel stretched thin but still want to lead with clarity. You'll walk away with small, realistic shifts—like the “top 3 goals” rule, calendar alignment, and a gentler way to use AI as a thought partner—so your impact grows without burning you out. About the Guest: Mark Briggs is an executive coach, author, keynote speaker, and founder of Empyrean Group. He helps leaders find their “next gear,” where effort decreases and impact accelerates. Episode Chapters: 00:01:41 — Energy is the real constraint, not time 00:03:37 — The pandemic shift: more time, less clarity 00:05:19 — The grind myth and the “top 3 goals” rule 00:07:49 — Broken promises to yourself = quiet anxiety 00:09:22 — Calendar color-coding: do priorities actually show up? 00:11:06 — Date night as a KPI for a well-led life 00:16:47 — Using AI to find space, summarize, and create focus Key Takeaways: Pick no more than 3 daily priorities; finish them before adding more. Run a weekly calendar test: do your stated goals appear on it? Treat “promises to self” as integrity—small follow-through reduces anxiety. Build a 15-minute morning routine (hydration, stretch, journal, gratitude, meditate). Use AI to brainstorm schedule gaps, summarize meetings, and surface next steps. If You're a FAN leave me a message :-)Your calendar is your real strategy, not the deck, not the talk, not the “Q2 priorities” slide. In this Executive Five episode, I show you how to read your last two weeks like evidence, where your time is going, what you're actually rewarding, and why your team aligns to what you attend, not what you announce. You'll walk away with three clean moves, run calendar forensics, pre book priority time first, and remove one status meeting that's just reporting theatre, so your week produces decisions, development, and real momentum.Support the showContact me:Daniel@the-success-blueprint.co.zawww.mindworx.bizdaniel@mindsworx.comInstagram: @Mindworx_Coaching

March has a way of making everything feel busier. Schedules shift. The clock moves forward. School events multiply. Work picks up. Travel increases. And suddenly, your home feels harder to manage. In Episode 200 of Organizing with Ease, we're breaking down why busy seasons often lead to clutter, stress, and decision fatigue — and how simple organizing systems can reduce overwhelm immediately. Because clutter is rarely about laziness. It's about friction. And friction happens when your home organization systems no longer match your current season of life. Why Your Home Feels More Overwhelming in March Research shows the average American home contains over 300,000 items. More physical clutter means more visual stimulation — and more cognitive load. Add busy family routines, calendar pressure, and daily decision fatigue, and your home can quickly feel chaotic. In this episode, we explore how to: Reduce stress at home during busy seasonsIdentify hidden friction points in your daily routinesCreate sustainable organizing systems that support real lifeClose open loops that drain mental energyBuild a structure that works even when motivation fadesThe 5 Most Common Home Friction Points If your home feels overwhelming, one of these areas is usually the root cause: 1️⃣ Morning routine systems 2️⃣ Paper and mail organization 3️⃣ Laundry completion habits 4️⃣ Kitchen and meal planning structure 5️⃣ Calendar and schedule management When these systems are unclear, decision fatigue increases — and so does stress. When these systems are aligned, your home feels steady. Key Takeaway You don't need more motivation. You need better systems. Sustainable home organization isn't about perfection — it's about structure that supports your real life. Busy seasons don't create chaos. They expose where your systems need refinement. Thank You for 200 Episodes The first 100 episodes of Organizing with Ease began as shared conversations, laying the groundwork for this community. The next 100 evolved into deeper conversations about decluttering strategies, productivity at home, and sustainable systems. Thank you for being here. There is no Episode 200 without you. Send a textWhat if the quickest path from stress to peace is already in your body and your spirit? We open with the breath, why shallow chest breathing keeps you stuck in survival mode, and how diaphragmatic, nasal breaths boost nitric oxide, widen vessels, and deliver oxygen to the mitochondria that power your energy. Then we connect the science to worship: long, sustained exhales and diaphragmatic support mimic breathwork, while singing with others sparks oxytocin and a sense of safety that can quiet cortisol. It's a whole-body reset hiding in plain sight. We get candid about overload, from year-end hustle to the invisible weight of always saying yes. One five-minute moment of guided breathing dropped blood pressure from 133/101 to 115/83—proof that physiology responds when given space. We also name the hard truth most helpers avoid: every yes comes at a cost. Boundaries are not cold; they're caring. The sacred no is usually just “not today,” and it protects the joy of serving, so it stays a gift rather than a grind. Sabbath is a design pattern for modern nervous systems. You'll leave with simple, actionable tools: deep nasal breathing with longer exhales, worship as a nervous system practice, asking a friend to co-regulate through prayer and breath, and a small menu of quiet resets - tea, a psalm, a walk, a moment of beauty. We talk about honoring limits in small communities, inviting help, and listening to your body's cues before burnout steals your clarity. Peace is not the absence of chaos; it's the Presence that steadies you right in the middle of it.If this resonated, follow the show, share it with someone who needs a reset, and leave a review so more women can find soul-deep calm and spirit-led strength.Support the showConnect with Melissa: Lemon Balm Coaching or Women Connected FB Community Connect with Stephanie: SJP Health and Wellness or Be the BOSS, Be Well FB Community Music by Adipsia
Patrick takes heartfelt calls on everything from Reiki and spiritual risks to concerns about finding authentically Catholic therapists for kids. He responds with straightforward advice on Mass etiquette, the practical and spiritual side effects of sin, and the challenges of Catholic-Orthodox unity, sprinkling in stories about the impact of bumper stickers and the joy of Taco Tuesday. Jen - My mother-in-law is trained in reiki and now hears angel voices and lives by what they tell her to do. (00:49) Eric - What is the proper thing to do at Mass after Communion while we wait for the priest to finish putting away the supplies? (06:39) Nicole - My son may have autism and ADHD. Do you know of any neurological psychologists who are Catholic and not LGBTQ? (09:51) Fred - My old missal says sinners who are forgiven still have to expiate these sins. What are these penalties that this is referring to? (12:33) Chris - How did the Church establish the liturgical years (A, B and C)? (22:47) Lyal - I am Greek Orthodox. We celebrate Easter on a different Calendar, and you celebrate on a Gregorian Calendar. Does this contradict the 3rd Ecumenical Council, and could we celebrate on the same date? (25:38) Thomas - I was posting a comment on Substack, and someone told me that I didn't have a right to say 'God bless you' because I don't have the authority. (35:52)
