Happy Wednesday Guys! I give you guys a really deep insight on how post-gymnast life has been for me. I talk about what I mainly struggle with now and the experiences and abuse I endured during my time as an athlete that cause these struggles to still be present. I know there are a lot of us who struggle with these aspects of being a former athlete, or even some who struggle with them an a current athlete. This episode is definitely one that hits very close to home for me and I hope it will help those of you also struggling with the same issues. Happy Friday Guys!! Another week down in quarantine and before my husband, DJ, had to go back to work this week, I was able to have him sit down with me for this episode. We discuss our struggles we have had with mental illness being present in our relationship and what we have learned in the past 6 years on how to become a stronger couple because of it. I am so thankful for such an amazing guy in my life who has worked so hard to understand these flaws of mine and ultimately made me realize how worthy I am when it comes to my doubts and negative thoughts about myself.
