Mandi, Yaneli (aka MissBeHelpful), and Chris Browning break down the newest updates to premium cards like the Chase Sapphire Reserve, Amex Platinum, and Capital One Venture X. If you’re thinking about upgrading your card or just want to travel smarter, this one’s for you.
Are you protecting the lead—or playing to win? In this conversation, I sit down with my brother, Brendon Burchard, and we hit on something that every single one of us wrestles with at some point: how to reignite that competitive fire when it starts to flicker. Maybe you've achieved some success—you got that promotion, built a business, or hit a financial goal—and suddenly you realize, I'm playing not to lose instead of playing to win. That's a dangerous place to be, and Brendon and I break down exactly why it happens and how to flip the switch back on. We get real about what it means to measure up—not against others, but against your own capacity. That's what separates those who keep rising from those who stall out. We talk about how greats like LeBron James keep their edge and how you can apply that same mindset. It's not about the external competition anymore—it's about expanding who you are and setting your own standard. And that, my friends, is where true fulfillment lives. Brendon and I also share the practical steps that have kept us driven—like setting up new challenges on purpose, so you're not just reacting to life but directing it. If you're coasting right now, if you've been going through the motions, this episode will remind you to swing for the fences. Key takeaways from this episode: Why success can actually zap your drive—and how to get it back The danger of playing not to lose instead of playing to win How to shift from competing against others to competing against your own potential The secret power of setting your own challenges to fuel your momentum Why surrounding yourself with the right people can reignite your ambition Let's stop settling. Let's take that big swing. Let's chase those God-sized dreams together. Max out. And hey—if you want to experience this energy in person, come join us in Napa this July or in Scottsdale this fall. Go to growthday.com/Ed and grab your spot while you still can.
Are you feeling utterly drained, believing it's just the relentless pace of life? What if your burnout isn't about working too hard, but about hiding—hiding your true self, your assertiveness, and your inherent worth? In this powerful episode, Brendon Burchard uncovers the subtle ways we diminish ourselves, leading to exhaustion that no amount of rest can truly fix. It's time to stop shrinking and start shining. Brendon shares how to reclaim your power, assert your true value, and build an unshakeable sense of self-worth. You'll discover: Why if you don't assert yourself, you can't see what you're worth. We'll dive into how speaking your truth and standing for your value isn't aggressive—it's essential for self-recognition. How to stop judging yourself on your circumstances instead of your character. Your external situation doesn't define your inner strength or capabilities. It's time to shift your internal compass. Why worthiness is not guaranteed 100% of the time unless you're working towards it. This isn't about being perfect; it's about consistent self-acknowledgment and intentional action to build and maintain your sense of deserving. _____________________________________ If you're ready to stop the cycle of hidden burnout and step into your full, asserted power, this episode is a must-listen. BA Fam! We’re back at the Brown Table with your faves—Yaneli (aka MissBeHelpful) and Chris Browning catching up on all the things. Mandi shares some big news: her dad got a kidney (!!) and the story behind it will have you in your feels and thinking hard about health in our communities. Then we get into the heavy stuff—yes, the U.S. bombed Iran and what that could mean for your wallet (gas, inflation, cyberattacks... fun times). Plus, why financial content during global messes can feel icky real quick. We wrap with some NYC political tea and why we keep picking trash mayors. It’s giving heart, humor, and hella perspective—like we do.
Are you holding yourself back from leading at your highest level? In this incredible conversation, I sit down with my good friend Craig Groeschel—someone I admire deeply, not just for what he's accomplished, but for the man he is at his core. We get real about leadership—what it means to empower others, to listen, to ask better questions, and to build a culture that thrives whether you're in the room or not. Craig shares candidly about the lessons he's learned over nearly 30 years leading one of the largest churches in the country and launching the YouVersion Bible App that's impacted millions. One of the things that really hit home in this episode is how Craig talks about the shift from thinking leadership is about you to realizing it's about what happens when you're not there. We break down how great leaders give authority, not just tasks, and how that's the key to developing other leaders rather than creating followers. And yes, we go into the hard stuff—the criticism, the self-doubt, the moments where you feel like playing it safe. Craig doesn't shy away from those moments, and neither do I in this conversation. We also talk about something that's been huge for me this year—surrender. Craig shares what it really means to give up control where it's not ours to begin with, and why trusting God with the things we can't shape frees us to lead with greater courage and faith. This episode isn't about theory—it's about real tools you can put into practice starting today. How to shift from controlling to empowering so you can build leaders, not just followers. Why your effectiveness as a leader is measured by what happens when you're absent, not present. The habits that anchor Craig's leadership and how to create your own keystone habits. A fresh approach to giving and receiving feedback that builds trust and fuels growth. The difference between showing love and showing belief—and why your team (and family) needs both. How to handle self-doubt and stop playing it safe in your vision and leadership. What true surrender looks like in your leadership and life. Here's what you'll take away from this episode:If this conversation moves you the way it did me, do yourself a favor—share it, take action on it, and let it change the way you lead. Max out your life, my friends!

Are you letting indecision rob you of your destiny? In this episode, I'm getting real about something every one of us faces—but few of us feel truly prepared for: making difficult decisions. I walk you through the exact strategies that have helped me choose clarity over chaos in my life, even when the stakes were high and the path ahead was uncertain. Whether you're wrestling with a career move, a relationship choice, or any other major crossroad, this conversation will help you stop hesitating and start calling your shots. I share personal stories—like the time I chose to stay in California for my family's well-being, sacrificing millions financially, and later, why I made the move to Florida when life's conditions shifted. These weren't easy calls, but they taught me that not choosing is a choice in itself—one that can quietly steal your future. You'll hear how I separate emotion from logic, why stillness is key, and how to stop letting fear, ego, or the opinions of others dictate your path. This episode is all about owning your choices, even when you're unsure of the outcome. I give you practical tools like the “10-10-10” rule, values-based decision making, and the importance of internal alignment over external pressure. And if you're struggling right now, let me remind you: everything's going to be okay. Trust yourself, trust in God's guidance, and know that your destiny is shaped by the decisions you make today. Key takeaways from this episode: Why clarity comes from action, not endless thinking How to separate emotion from true inner guidance when making decisions The importance of aligning choices with your highest values, not ego or external validation Why it's okay—and smart—to change your mind as new information arises How to live with your decisions, learn from them, and move forward with confidence If this resonates with you, I ask just one thing: share this episode. Help someone else take that next step toward the life they deserve.
If you constantly feel overwhelmed, scattered, or like you're running in circles without real progress… it's not because you're broken—it's because you're reactive instead of intentional. In this powerful episode, Brendon Burchard calls out the silent trap that keeps high achievers stuck: getting too comfortable. When we settle, we stop striving. When we avoid discomfort, we disconnect from alignment, service, and true fulfillment. It's time to break free from the ease that's keeping you small—and reawaken the purpose that pulls you forward. Brendon shares how to realign with what matters, reignite your internal drive, and stop chasing tasks—and start chasing impact. You'll discover: How resentment quietly derails your dreams—and how to release it for good Why hope isn't naive—it's a decision that creates forward momentum How taking aligned risks reignites your purpose and positions you for long-term success _____________________________________ If you're ready to stop looking backward and start living forward, this episode will help you realign with your best self and your biggest vision. Listen now and take back your power from the past—your future depends on it. _____________________________________ Life-Changing Resources: Become a GrowthDay member to unlock daily motivational audio from Brendon, weekly training from the world's top coaches and experts, exclusive Monday Motivation from Ed Mylett, Brendon AI, and over $5,000 of courses! https://growthday.go.link/hsAqg Download Brendon's famous 1-Page Productivity Guide: https://www.growthday.com/pdf-g ✨ Subscribe now and start your journey to a more fulfilling life! _____________________________________ Follow for more motivation: Instagram: @brendonburchard / @growthday YouTube: @BrendonBurchard / @GrowthDayMotivation Facebook: Brendon Burchard / GrowthDay _____________________________________ Don't forget to leave a review and share this episode with someone who needs to hear this!
At the Brown Table this week, Mandi invites two brilliant voices: Elizabeth Ayoola, host of Smart Money by NerdWallet, and Haniyah Philogene, lifestyle reporter at TheGrio. They dive into the chaotic beauty of career pivots, being Black women in media, and the emotional labor of storytelling. We talk motherhood, dating, the cost of protective styles (spoiler: $400 braids are wild), and the complex feelings around Tyler Perry’s latest Netflix hit. The convo gets real on how Black trauma is marketed—and why we need more diverse storytelling for us, by us. We also chat about: What it really means to be "financially free" in your 30s The evolving landscape of Black journalism in a post-DEI world How social media impacts our timelines—literal and emotional Why storytelling is political, and who gets to shape the narrative Plus, Elizabeth breaks down how she got into personal finance with no journalism degree—and why she wants you to start investing (even if it’s just $5). And Haniyah gives us the inside scoop on Black consumer power, boycotts, and making sense of it all in your group chat. New here?Join us three times a week:
How Do You Turn Tragedy Into Triumph? In this unforgettable conversation, I sit down with Elizabeth Smart—a woman whose strength and grace have inspired millions. Elizabeth was kidnapped at knifepoint from her home at just 14 years old and endured nine months of unspeakable abuse. But what truly amazes me isn't just her survival—it's the extraordinary life she's built in the aftermath. In this episode, Elizabeth shares what it means to reclaim your life, how she's become a fierce protector of others, and the mindset that helped her move forward instead of staying trapped by trauma. Elizabeth opens up about those terrifying moments of captivity and the choice she made every day: don't give up. She shares what it took to move past fear and anger—not to excuse what was done to her—but to love herself enough to not let that pain define her life. We talk about forgiveness, and she explains it in a way that will stop you in your tracks: “Forgiveness is the greatest form of self-love because it allows you to leave the anger behind and move forward.” We also dive into how trauma leaves a mark—not just on your heart, but on your brain. Elizabeth reveals how she's worked to take her power back, from building a loving marriage to creating the Elizabeth Smart Foundation and Smart Defense, where women (and men) learn that they are stronger than they ever imagined. I loved how she said, “You are so powerful. You are much stronger than you think you are.” This episode isn't just about Elizabeth's story—it's about all of us. Whether you've faced your own trauma, or you're standing with someone who has, there's so much here about resilience, purpose, and hope. Elizabeth's courage will change the way you see your own challenges—and your ability to rise above them. Key takeaways from this episode: The real meaning of forgiveness and why it's a gift you give yourself. How to reclaim your power when trauma makes you feel powerless. Why open communication and unconditional love are the most important things you can offer your children. The importance of learning self-defense not just for protection, but for confidence. How to be the kind of person who says, “I believe you. I'm here for you,” when someone shares their pain. Let this conversation remind you that no matter what you've been through, your future can be brighter than your past. Share this episode with someone who needs it. Let's make a difference together. Three key takeaways you can expect from this episode: How to define what "living on your terms" truly means for you — not based on society, family, or social media. The power of micro-adjustments: how small daily choices lead to big transformations. Why investing in support, tools, and community can accelerate your journey toward freedom. Listen in and discover how even one small action today can bring you closer to your dream life — however you define it. Brace yourselves, BA fam—this week’s Brown Table gets deep into the dollars and the drama. Mandi is joined by not one, not two, but three first-time Brown Table guests: Alexa Claire from The Financial Diet, JQ (aka Jonquilyn Hill) from Vox’s Explain It To Me podcast, and Yvie Saint-Louis from Blavity. They’re diving into the news, the nonsense, and the real-life mess of navigating finances, friendships, and fairness—especially when rent’s due and tensions are high.
Are You Thinking Your Own Thoughts… Or Someone Else's? Let me ask you something—have you ever stopped to wonder if the thoughts you're thinking are actually yours? In this conversation, I sat down with Rebecca Lemov, a Harvard professor and author of The Instability of Truth, and what unfolded was a real eye-opener. We didn't just scratch the surface—we went into the guts of how we get conditioned to believe things about the world… and about ourselves… without even realizing it. Rebecca laid out something that really hit me: brainwashing doesn't start with someone else taking control of your mind—it begins when you stop asking questions. That moment when you stop challenging your beliefs, when you're scrolling, liking, agreeing without even knowing why—that's where it starts. She walked me through a chilling example: a Facebook study where they manipulated nearly 700,000 users' moods without their knowledge. That's real. That happened. And if that doesn't wake you up, I don't know what will. We also got personal. I shared how trauma—whether from rejection, heartbreak, or failure—can create space for a mind virus to take root. That voice in your head saying, “You're not good enough,” “You'll never succeed,”—that's not truth. That's programming. And unless you confront it, question it, and replace it, it'll trap you in a version of your life that's far smaller than what you were made for. Rebecca made it clear: being educated or intelligent doesn't make you immune—it might even make you more vulnerable. This episode isn't about conspiracy theories or pointing fingers—it's about ownership. About reclaiming your identity, your voice, your individuality. Don't go through life unknowingly living in someone else's version of who you're supposed to be. Don't meet God at the end and realize you lived someone else's life because you never questioned your own thoughts. You want to change your life? Start by challenging what you assume to be true. Start asking better questions. Key Takeaways: Brainwashing often starts from within—when you stop questioning your own thoughts. Trauma can open the door for limiting beliefs to become your internal truth. Social media algorithms are designed to manipulate your mood and feed confirmation bias. There are 8 classic signs of brainwashing, but the key one? Control over your environment. Intelligence doesn't protect you from mind control—it can deepen the illusion. Challenge your assumptions, and you can change your entire life trajectory. Let this be your wake-up call. You don't have to be part of a group to have value. You're not your past. You're not your trauma. You're an individual—and your thoughts matter.
If you've been feeling unmotivated, unfocused, or like you're just going through the motions… it might be because comfort has quietly replaced your purpose. You'll discover: Why comfort leads to misalignment—and how to get your focus and motive back How to stop task-chasing and shift into a mindset of meaningful service How saying goodbye to avoidance can unlock the momentum and clarity you've been missing _____________________________________ If you're ready to shake off the comfort zone and step back into the meaningful pursuit of your purpose, this episode is your wake-up call. Listen now to reignite your clarity, courage, and calling.
Whew… this week’s Brown Table is packed, y’all. Mandi is joined by not one, not two, but three first-time Brown Table guests: Alexa Claire from The Financial Diet, JQ (aka Jonquilyn Hill) from Vox’s "Explain It To Me" podcast, and Yvie Saint-Louis from Blavity. We dive into the news, the nonsense, and everything in between from pop culture and politics to the real-life messiness of being Black, brilliant, and bold in America. This week, we get into: -Beyoncé in London: the rain, the glow, and yes, ugly tears were shed. -Trump and Elon’s billionaire beef… is it all just a stunt? -ICE raids, National Guard in LA, and why peaceful protests keep being met with force. -Why Black women are *still* expected to be the mature ones and what happens when we just want to clap back. -From Coco Gauff to Simone Biles to a teenage track star with flaming feet (literally): why the world can’t handle confident Black girls. Plus: The Tonys, the audacity of Patti LuPone, and whether Hamilton still goes hard (spoiler: it does). New here? BA fam, don’t forget—we’ve got three shows a week now:
What if the secret to longevity isn't luck—but how you show up? In this episode, I sit down with someone I've been wanting to interview for a long time—actor and now wellness entrepreneur, Josh Duhamel. You've seen him in everything from Transformers to Las Vegas to his latest hit Ransom Canyon. But this conversation goes beyond the screen. It's about the truth behind staying relevant, thriving in your 40s and 50s, and what it really means to lead—whether that's in your home, on set, or in your company. Josh opens up about the moments of self-doubt early in his career, the grind he still embraces, and how testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) helped him regain not just his energy, but his edge. We got real about aging, fatherhood, emotional strength, and the quiet confidence that comes from people believing in you—not just loving you. There's a big difference between the two. And whether you're leading a team or raising a family, that distinction can change everything. We also talk about masculinity in today's world—the evolving definition of what it means to be a man, and how important it is to stay grounded in spiritual connection. Josh talked about his circle of men who hold space for honest, vulnerable conversation and how that's shaped the way he leads and lives. He's not afraid to let people know he needs them, and that simple truth might just be the unlock for building loyalty, excellence, and connection in your team. This episode isn't just about fame or fitness—it's about the values that sustain you: humility, work ethic, emotional intelligence, and the courage to evolve. Josh proves that longevity in any field is earned through consistency, intention, and the willingness to stay coachable—even when you've “made it.” Key Takeaways: Why being emotionally accessible is a strength, not a weakness How testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) helped Josh reclaim his drive The importance of belief—how it's more powerful than love in leadership Creating a work environment where everyone feels needed and valued Josh's definition of masculinity and the role spiritual connection plays in his life How leaders like Steve Jobs and Mark Wahlberg modeled greatness through humility and discipline Don't just listen—share this one with someone who needs to remember what showing up with purpose really looks like. MAX OUT.
If you feel like giving up because the journey is hard, remember: you're not stuck—you're being shaped. In this empowering episode, Brendon Burchard shares how the power of never giving up isn't just about grit—it's about having clear aim, the resolve to evolve, and the mental toughness to honor the struggle. When things go sideways, most people quit. But those who win in life are the ones who shift, pivot, adapt—and still press on. You'll discover: Why Strong resolve + clear outcomes are the foundation of your perseverance. How to shit, not shut down - pivoting isn't quitting, it's strategy. How amplifying your (and owning your weaknesses) leads to momentum and mastery. _____________________________________ If you're ready to stop flirting with defeat and start leaning fully into your power, this episode is your mindset reset. Listen now and stop letting the wrong habits limit your future.

A FWACATA Podcast about Resistance, Identity, and the Power of CommunityThis week's FWACATA Podcast isn't your usual Monday motivation. It's a call to attention. A gut check. A reminder that resistance starts with presence, and that presence begins with you. There's a growing weight in this country—a pressure building from misguided policy, ICE raids, political cruelty, and systems designed to divide us. The fear is real. The threats are real. But so is the power of people who refuse to bend, who refuse to disappear, and who refuse to be silent. This episode is for everyone who feels angry, scared, ignored, or underestimated, especially our Latino community and immigrant brothers and sisters who have carried the weight of labor, culture, and community while being treated like criminals.Let's be clear:Hard-working people aren't the threat. The system that targets them is.Why attacks on immigrants are a distraction from real issuesHow cultural resilience terrifies the powerfulThe danger of compliance in the face of injusticeWhy being proud of your people, your culture, and your roots is resistanceWhat it means to resist nonviolently, creatively, and courageouslyAnd a direct message to those who serve the system to remember who they areResistance doesn't always mean violence. Sometimes it means stumbling into the machine just long enough to jam it. It means not letting fear keep you quiet. It means using your art, your voice, your energy, your platform—no matter how big or small—to say:We are still here. You will not erase us. You will not stop us.This episode challenges you to think, to feel, and then to act, whether that's by supporting families, speaking truth, or just not looking away. And to those working within the system: we see you. You still have a choice. The road ahead will be hard. But like any true transformation—it's painful before it's powerful. We're not waiting for permission. We're not asking to be accepted. We're building something better, one voice at a time.Resist. Reflect. Create. Care. Are You Speaking to Their Greatness or Their Deficiencies? This conversation challenged me in the best way—and I think it will challenge you too. I sat down with relationship coaches Jocelyn and Aaron Freeman, and we didn't hold back. We got into the real, unfiltered truth about what makes a relationship thrive and what quietly breaks it down over time. And I'll be honest—I learned a lot about myself in this one. We talked about why most couples argue the same way every time, how we start talking to our partner's flaws instead of their potential, and how easy it is to stop being curious about the person we love the most. That hit me hard. Because curiosity? It's not just a phase when you're dating—it's a choice. When you stay curious, people become more interesting. And when you stop being interested, they stop showing you who they really are. One of the most important takeaways: the “5 Rs” the Freemans teach—Reflect, Responsibility, Reconnect, Remind, Reconcile. It's a practical framework that helps couples come back from conflict stronger. But what stood out even more was this mindset they kept coming back to: we're on the same team. That phrase alone has the power to stop an argument in its tracks and realign a relationship that feels like it's drifting apart. This episode is packed with real tools, honest moments, and a whole lot of heart. If you're in a relationship—new or decades deep—there's something here for you. You're either training your partner that this is a safe space to share… or you're teaching them to keep it all inside. That's the choice. And I want you to choose connection. Key Takeaways: The most damaging part of conflict isn't the argument—it's the lack of repair after. Learn the 5 Rs to recover and reconnect after a disagreement. “Speaking to your partner's greatness” builds them up and strengthens your bond. Curiosity is the secret to keeping relationships alive and engaging. One person can spark change, but both have to sustain it. You don't have to end the relationship to end the version of it that isn't working. Let this episode be the spark. Listen with your partner. Talk about it. And remember—you're on the same team.
When everything feels like it's falling apart around you, how do you stay grounded, focused, and calm? In this powerful episode, Brendon Burchard dives into how to stay calm amid chaos—not by chance, but by conscious choice and trained habit. You'll learn why calm isn't something that just happens—it's a skill you build, especially when life tests you most. Brendon unpacks how your upbringing and social conditioning shape your response to stress, and how to rewire those patterns so you can face anxiety, hurt, and overwhelm with resilience and clarity. You'll discover: Why staying calm is a proactive choice you must train daily How to understand and reprogram the way you were conditioned to handle stress The power of calm routines that help you stay grounded in any storm _____________________________________ If you're ready to stop reacting and start leading your emotions with purpose and peace, this episode will show you how. Are your goals driving you—or draining you? In this month's sit-down with my brother Brendon Burchard, we break open something rarely talked about but absolutely critical if you're chasing success: the difference between being committed to your goals and being attached to them. We're not here to dish out motivational fluff—this is a raw conversation about mastering presence, building true rhythm in your life, and not letting your need for results rob you of your ability to perform at your best. Brendon and I talk about how most people get lost in the micro—obsessing over metrics, routines, and outcomes—while completely missing the bigger picture. Goals aren't the problem; attachment is. I share the metaphor of a pro golfer who misses an easy putt—not because he lacks skill, but because he's mentally fast-forwarding to what it means if he makes or misses. And in life, just like on the course, the moment you get needy, you drop your frequency. We also dive into what I've learned through experience and faith—how the real shift came when I started surrendering the harvest to God. Your job is to plant the seeds, do the work, show up—but the outcome? That's not yours to control. I want you to think about this: who are you becoming? Because your state of being will take you further than any checklist or protocol ever will. Brendon and I just wrapped an unforgettable Ultra VIP event in Austin, where we went deep with a small group of high achievers on topics like these. If you're ready to experience this level of connection and transformation in person, check out Ultra.VIP for more details. Key Takeaways: Why presence matters more than pressure in moments of execution The difference between being needy for a goal and committed to a vision How “working the rhythm” can outperform chasing the result Why surrendering the outcome increases your ability to perform The identity shift from achiever to warrior—and how it changes everything What it really means to move in a direction instead of chasing random goals If this hits home for you, share it with someone who needs to hear it. Max out.
If you keep telling yourself you're not good enough, not ready, or not capable—your momentum will stall before it ever truly begins. In this energizing episode, Brendon Burchard reveals the hidden cost of always being “on” and why never pausing can actually diminish your creativity, joy, and performance. You'll learn why releasing tension, letting go of mental baggage, and taking time to reflect aren't luxuries—they're essential habits for high achievers. Brendon also walks you through how taking strategic breaks isn't about slowing down your goals—it's about setting higher expectations for the energy, clarity, and alignment you bring to them. You'll discover: How to break free from negative inner dialogue that kills progress Why recalibration and growth require self-awareness and conscious intention How to realign your focus and energy with what truly drives fulfillment and success _____________________________________ If you're ready to silence the self-doubt and reignite your momentum, this episode will help you make that crucial breakthrough. What if anxiety wasn't the enemy—but the invitation? In this episode, I sit down with my good friend Humble The Poet, and we have a real, raw conversation about one of the most common challenges we all face—anxiety. But we don't treat it like a monster hiding in the closet. Instead, we explore it for what it really is: a signal, not a sentence. Humble brings a refreshing, honest lens to what it means to feel anxious in today's world. He says anxiety isn't about danger—it's about uncertainty. It's not that something's wrong with you. It's that you've been conditioned to believe you can't handle life's hard moments. But guess what? You can. “Anxiety is when your intelligence grows faster than your courage,” he says. That line hit me. We're overthinking ourselves into paralysis, while our bodies are screaming for action, for movement, for breath. We also dig into how society—especially social media—is tricking us into thinking we're not enough. That we're missing out. That our value is tied to our achievements. But your worth? It's not on the other side of likes, lists, or trophies. And when Humble said, “The people that matter most don't care about your achievements,” I thought of my mom, my kids, and how true that really is. You're not broken. You don't need to avoid hard things. In fact, you get stronger by facing them—again and again. The goal isn't to be fearless. The goal is to shorten the time between when fear shows up and when you respond with clarity and grace. That's equanimity. That's emotional fitness. That's the real edge. Key Takeaways:• Why anxiety is not the enemy—it's the alarm pointing to unaddressed challenges.• The difference between reacting and responding—and how to close that gap.• How social media fuels our anxiety and why stepping away might be the best move.• The myth of being “too needy” and the truth about our need for community.• How envy reveals what you truly value—and what to do with that insight.• Why your worth isn't tied to your most recent achievement. This episode isn't just for those battling anxiety—it's for anyone who's ever questioned their worth, struggled with overthinking, or felt alone. You're not. And this conversation will remind you of that. Let's keep growing together. Max out.

In this energizing episode, Brendon Burchard reveals the hidden cost of always being “on” and why never pausing can actually diminish your creativity, joy, and performance. What if your life had an expiration date printed on it—and you just couldn't see it? This episode is a wake-up call. Not about chasing more, but about making what we already have count. I introduce a concept that's reshaping how I live: Quality Time Remaining. It's not about how long we live—it's about how we spend the precious moments we have left. I've been on this group text with some close friends—successful, driven guys—and we've started sending each other snapshots of real-life moments that matter. The ones that count. And I realized, I haven't sent one yet. That hit me. We grind so hard for the future that we forget to live today. The trouble is, we think we have time. We plan, we postpone, we sacrifice the now for the someday—and sometimes, that someday never comes. I've had health scares, lost people I love, and seen too many “somedays” stolen by surprise. That's why this message matters. It's not about slowing down—it's about becoming intentional with the time that really counts. You'll hear me share stories—some personal, some painful, all real. This isn't a theory or a mindset hack. It's a shift in perspective that could literally change how you live. If you're waiting for the right time to make memories, it's already here. Start your shorter list. Not your bucket list—the little moments that matter now. Whether it's a walk, a conversation, a game with your kid… they're priceless. The takeaway is simple: your life isn't just measured in years. It's measured in memories. The people around you deserve more than just your time—they deserve the best of you, fully present. So do you. And if you're the kind of person who's been grinding, achieving, and waiting for later… it's time to wake up. Later might not come. The milk of your life tastes better now than it ever will. Savor it. Key Takeaways: How to reframe your life around Quality Time Remaining Why being busy can rob you of what truly matters The difference between intentional living and life drifting How to start your own “shorter list” of moments that matter Why presence, not productivity, is what creates lasting memories You have more time today than you might tomorrow—spend it like it matters. Because it does.
If you feel burned out, distracted, or like you're constantly running on empty, it might not be a motivation problem—it might be that you've forgotten how to take a real break. Is Your Team Truly Committed—Or Just Chasing Goals? What separates teams that succeed from those that just survive? It's not talent. It's not resources. It's commitment. This week, I sit down with my great friend Jon Gordon, and we got real about what it takes to build a team that doesn't just perform, but thrives under pressure. Jon's new book, The Seven Commitments of a Great Team, is more than theory—it's the roadmap every leader, entrepreneur, and family builder needs. We talked about why goals aren't enough. Everybody's got goals. But not everybody is committed. Jon broke it down beautifully—commitment is about action. It's about the daily disciplines that align with your vision. Want to make a million dollars this year? That won't happen without commitments to how you show up, how you serve, and how you lead your team. “Commitment is going to cost you something,” Jon said. “You have to ask yourself—what are you willing to give, and what are you willing to give up?” One of the biggest takeaways? The power of connection and love on a team. That might sound soft, but it's not. Love is what makes great teams fight for each other. It's what transforms a locker room, a boardroom, or a household. “You'll never have commitment without connection,” Jon said—and he's right. If your team's not committed to each other, they won't be committed to the mission. And when adversity hits, that's when the cracks show. We also touched on something every leader needs to hear: emotional fatigue. Carrying the weight of your business, your team, your family—it gets heavy. If you lose your why, you lose your fire. “The crime isn't that the passion ran out—it's that you stayed around after it did,” Jon shared. That line stopped me in my tracks. Leaders, you've got to reignite your mission or risk slowly fading out. Key Takeaways: The difference between having goals and living with commitment Why devotion—not discipline—creates lasting change How prayer and purposeful rituals can unlock creative breakthroughs The role of connection and love in high-performance teams How to lead through adversity without losing your energy or edge This one hit home for me on a personal level, and I know it will for you too. Go grab The Seven Commitments of a Great Team. It's a game-changer. MAX OUT.
If life feels chaotic and you're tired of feeling off-track, it's not just the uncertainty—it's the lack of intentionality that's stealing your momentum. In this powerful episode, Brendon Burchard shares how to navigate turbulent times with clarity, courage, and self-leadership. You'll learn why randomness in your thoughts, habits, and decisions is not just ineffective—it's actually rude to your goals, your relationships, and your future. Brendon dives deep into the mindset and strategies high performers use to stay grounded and purposeful, even when everything around them feels uncertain. You'll discover: Why you must eliminate randomness and recommit to meaningful structure How asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness—and how to do it well The role of radical self-awareness in recalibrating during uncertain times _____________________________________ If you're ready to stop reacting to chaos and start showing up with intention and power, this episode is your guide to realigning and rising. What are you holding on to that just doesn't fit anymore? In this episode, I take you inside a real moment from my life—a full-on spring cleaning of my closet that turned into something way bigger. As I started tossing out old clothes, I realized I've been hanging on to things that no longer serve me—beliefs, habits, even dreams that don't fit who I am today. This episode isn't just about getting rid of stuff; it's about clearing space in your life so you can breathe, grow, and step into your next season with clarity and intention. We're talking about more than just clothes. I challenge you to look at your relationships, your routines, even your regrets. Some of these things have just been “in your closet” so long, you forgot to ask if they still fit. Maybe they did once, maybe they helped you survive or succeed—but they're not meant to come with you now. And on the flip side, there might be something beautiful you've forgotten that still fits just right. You just couldn't see it through the clutter. This is your invitation to get ruthless, get honest, and start fresh. I'll walk you through how to audit your life—what to keep, what to toss, and what might just need a little tailoring. I even share a personal revelation I had about something I've carried for decades—“hurry”—and why I've finally decided to let it go. If you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just disconnected, this might be the message you've been waiting for. Your next level is waiting—it just needs room. Key Takeaways: How to identify what in your life no longer fits—relationships, beliefs, habits, even goals Why holding on to old emotions and regrets robs you of your peace A simple framework: Keep, toss, or tailor—what belongs in your next season? The surprising power of physical decluttering to reveal internal clutter Ed's personal realization about letting go of “hurry” to embrace peace and presence You deserve a life where everything in your closet fits, flatters, or feels like you. If it costs you your peace, it's too expensive. Period. End of story. God bless you. Max out.
What if living to 180 isn't about Hacks, but about Healing? In this conversation, I sit down with my friend Dave Asprey, the godfather of biohacking, to uncover what might be the most important conversation we've ever had on this show. And I don't say that lightly. You know Dave for pushing the envelope on longevity, nutrition, and performance—but what we got into here, this is the stuff that actually sets you free. We talk about how every single one of us is born with the capacity for intuition—a gut knowing that transcends logic—and how most of us have let our ego, emotional baggage, and mental chatter completely drown it out. Dave breaks down the five F's that drive human behavior: Fear, Food, Fertility, Friendship, and Forgiveness—and how forgiveness, more than anything else, gives you energy, peace, and power. “Forgiveness is simply becoming non-reactive to something that was still causing you pain,” Dave says. That line hit me hard. We also dig into the practical side—because if there's no strategy, I'm not interested. Dave shares how to train your intuition like a muscle, what happens to your body when you forgive, and why practices like meditation, breathwork, and even brief, intentional exposure to pain (what he calls BICEP) can radically change how you show up in your life. This isn't woo-woo stuff—it's actionable and measurable, and he's got the brainwave data to back it up. Dave's new book, Heavily Meditated, might be his most important one yet. Not because it's flashy, but because it gives you the tools to clear the blocks—emotional, mental, even generational—that are stealing your energy and keeping you from your purpose. If you're biohacking your body but ignoring your spirit, you're leaving the most important gains on the table. Key Takeaways: Why forgiveness isn't a feeling—it's a performance enhancer How to recognize and build your intuitive muscle The biology behind “female intuition” (you'll want to hear this) How meditation actually rewires your nervous system Why exposing yourself to pain builds motivation and emotional resilience What to do when your heart rate variability just won't budge A surprising connection between altered states and intimacy Let me tell you something: it's not just about living longer—it's about living better. With more joy, more clarity, and more freedom. That's what we're after. Max out.
