Jesus delivered a young man from a demonic spirit that kept him deaf and mute and tried to destroy him. Jesus can deliver us from whatever we face if we place our faith in Him.
When Jesus passed by, He healed the man who was blind from birth. When Jesus passes by us today, all we have to to is reach out to Him by faith and He can heal, deliver and set us free from whatever we face.
The concept of sowing and reaping is all throughout scripture. If we sow to the flesh, we will reap corruption. But if we sow to the spirit, we will reap eternal life.
Jesus is the resurrection and the life. One day our loved ones who have gone on will rise from the dead and we will spend eternity with them in heaven.
There is no other Jesus and there is no other Gospel than Jesus Christ and the Cross of Calvary. Paul preached Christ crucified. We must be aware of false teachers and avoid false doctrine in these last days. NTC is going to continue to preach Christ and the Cross.
Jonah repented after being in the belly of a great fish. The city of Nineveh repented after Jonah's preaching. Repentance brings us into right relationship with God. If you are running from God, turn around and repent and let God offer His forgiveness.
Jesus commanded His disciples to heal the sick. This was not an optional part of their ministry. It was a requirement. The same is true for us today. We are commanded to go out and heal the sick in Jesus' name.
Jesus is the Great I Am. He has promised to be with us and to provide everything we have need of. What do you need from Him? Ask the Great I Am and trust in His promises.
Jesus has all power and authority over demonic forces and He has extended that authority to His church. One of the signs of a believer is that they will cast out devils in the name of Jesus. Confronting the demonic is one of the ultimate Power Encounters. Would we be prepared if we were faced with the demonic?

Jesus was not accepted by those in his own family and hometown. They saw Him just as the carpenter's son. As a result, Jesus could not perform many miracles in that area. Their unbelief caused Jesus to go elsewhere to help those who would reach out to Him. We know today that Jesus is more than just a carpenter's son. He is the Son of God and He will help those who reach out to Him.
In Part Four of Power Encounters, we unpack John 14:12 where Jesus promises His disciples that they would perform Greater Works because He was going to the Father. When Jesus ascended back to the Father, He sent the Holy Ghost back to his followers. We now have access to the power of the Holy Ghost through faith in the name of Jesus and by praying in the name of Jesus. God wants to work through you in signs, wonders, and miracles. Are you ready to go all in for Jesus?
We all have choices to make. Sometimes we make good choices. Other times we make bad choices. The story of Lot in the book of Genesis is an example of someone who made both good and bad choices. In the end, Lot's bad choices resulted in severe consequences for him and his family. Tune into this powerful message to learn how to make good choices in your life.

Paul asked the church in Colossae to pray that God would open up a door of opportunity for him to preach the Gospel. God opens up doors of opportunities for us every day to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. What doors is God trying to open in your life? Are are ready to walk through those doors and fulfill God's call on your life? Are you prepared to face opposition from the enemy who is going to try to stop you from crossing the threshold of God's purpose?
In Part Two of Power Encounters, we explore Being Filled with the Holy Ghost. Being filled with (or the baptism in) the Holy Ghost is a gift subsequent to salvation that is available to every believer. It is empowerment for service. Before we seek to engage in Power Encounters, such as casting out devils, speaking with new tongues, or laying hands on the sick and seeing them recover, we should seek to be filled with the Holy Ghost. Tune into this message to find out (1) what is it?, (2) why do I need it?, (3) how do I get it?, (4) how do I operate in it?, and (5) how does it relate to Power Encounters?
The Prophet Isaiah told Hezekiah, "Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live." God gave Hezekiah a warning that he was going to die and that he needed to set things in order. We all have an appointment with death, but we do not know when that appointment will be. We must get our hearts right with God and keep it that way so that we are ready when it is our time. Hezekiah prayed and God extended his life by 15 years. By setting your house in order and making things right with God, you can experience eternal life in Heaven.
The Little Maid knew somebody, who knew somebody, who was able to help cure Naaman's leprosy. Leprosy is a type of sin and the Jordan River is a type of the Cross. God is still curing sin today through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ.
Power Encounters are conflicts between the Kingdom of God and the kingdom of Satan. Examples of Power Encounters are found all throughout Scripture. From the Garden of Eden to the temptation of Jesus in the wilderness to Jesus casting a demon out of a young boy. These were all Power Encounters. And we are still engaged in Power Encounters today. There is constant conflict going on in the spiritual realm that manifests in the physical realm. In this series, we are going to explore what the Bible say about what types of Power Encounters we as Christians should be involved in and when and how we should engage in them.
Unbelief is a sin. Unbelief is not trusting God completely for who He is and for what He is capable of doing. If there is any unbelief in our hearts, we need to get it out, believe in God, and keep believing no matter what we face.
As Christians, our bodies are the temple of the Holy Ghost. When we got saved, the enemy moved out and the Holy Ghost moved in. In order to keep the enemy from trying to move back in, we must keep our lives sanctified, pure and holy, before God.

This particular mirror is convex in shape which creates a greater field of vision, but makes objects appear smaller. However, when we look into the perfect law of liberty, the Word of God, it does not provide a distorted view. It is the discerner of the thoughts and intents of our heart.
God allowed Lazarus to die so that the Glory of God might be revealed through his resurrection from the dead. We have so many reasons to glorify God in our lives. As God works through circumstances in our lives, we experience the Glory of God.

Romans 4:19-21 tells us that Abraham was fully persuaded that what God promised, He was also able to perform. In other words, Abraham completely trusted in God to fulfill His promises. Jesus said, you don't put new wine into old wineskins. You put new wine into new wineskins. In the same way, God cannot pour the New Wine of the Holy Spirit into the old wineskins of our heart that are full of sin. We need God to fashion us into a new wineskin. We need Him to make us into a vessel that is fit for His use. A vessel of honor and not of dishonor.
Peter stepped out of the boat and walked on water. But he soon began to look at the wind and waves and started to doubt. As he was sinking, he cried out to Jesus to save him. Jesus pulled him up and the walked back to the boat. If we cry out to God for what we need, He will answer.
As a result of twenty-one days of prayer and fasting, conflict erupted in the spiritual realm, Daniel's prayers were answered, and he received a revelation.
Blind Bartimaeus "cried out" to Jesus as he was passing by. The crowd wanted him to be silent, but he cried out anyway. As a result, Jesus restored his sight and changed his life. We need to "cry out" to God and make our needs and petitions known to Him. He already knows what we need, but He wants to hear from you and He wants you to ask, seek, and knock.
In Job 5:7, Eliphaz tells Job that "all men are born into trouble, as the sparks fly upward." If you've ever built a fire you have probably watched the sparks from the fire rising upward. As certain as the sparks fly upward, we are going to have trouble in this life. However, we as Christians do not face these troubles alone. We have a loving God who helps us through the troubles of life.
