THE WORD OF GOD: HIS POWERFUL, LIFE-GIVING, SOURCE OF TRUTH AND AUTHORITY è The Word of God • Jesus is the Living Word! (John 1:1, 2, 14) • Jesus is the only Perfect representative of Father God! (John 1:1,2; John 14:9; John 5:19, 20; John 12:49, 50; Hebrews 1:3) (God's ultimate expression) • Therefore, God's character is Full of Grace and Truth (flowing from His Love: 1 John 4:16; John 1:14; John 14:9) • Jesus' opinion of the Word: John 17:17 • We do not worship the Bible, the Scripture, but the Lord is the object of the Word and Scripture is God's written revelation of Who He is, what He is like, what He does, etc. • The Word of God and the Spirit of God are inseparable! (John 6:63; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25) è The Scripture: written documents of God's Word: (Holy Scriptures: 2 Timothy 3:15) • John 17:17; 2 Peter 3:15, 16; 2 Timothy 3:16) “My assignment is NOT to feed you spiritual “milk and cookies”, but rather to present to you, by the Holy Spirit's enabling, the energizing, nurturing, fortifying “meat of the Word” so that you Grow and are strengthened to take on and succeed in YOUR STORY FOR HIS GLORY!” Pastor Steve Franklin
Has anyone ever made a promise to you and then let you down? What if I told you that God has made many promises to you? Better yet, He will never fail you; He will never break His promises. In the Bible, God's Living Word, the book of 1st Kings says this, Not one of God's good promises has ever failed. God sent His Son, Jesus, to rescue us from death. He gave His life to make a way for us to be close with God. Three days after dying on the cross, Jesus rose from the grave, defeating sin and death. God made a way for us to have life. He is a faithful promise keeper. That way is Jesus. Do you want to know God, the keeper of all promises? He is waiting for you with open arms. Put your trust in Him today. Always remember, there is hope with God. I'm Andrew Palau. radio.hopewithgod.com

Embark on this year-long voyage through the Bible, and let each day's passage uplift and inspire you. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible! In today's episode, host Hunter guides us through a thoughtful reading of Isaiah chapters 29 to 31 and James chapter 1. Together, we reflect on powerful themes of trust, humility, and transformation. Hunter invites us to consider what it means to truly accept the Word that God has planted in our hearts—a Word that points to Jesus Himself, the living Word with the power to save and transform lives. As we journey through these Scripture passages, we're reminded of the importance of not just hearing God's Word, but letting it shape our actions, attitudes, and relationships. Hunter wraps up with a time of heartfelt prayer, encouraging all of us to walk in God's joy, strength, and love throughout the day ahead. So grab your Bible, settle in, and let's discover together what God is saying to us today. TODAY'S DEVOTION: What is the word that God has planted in your heart? That's the important question James is asking, and one we must truly consider. The apostle James urges us to humbly accept the word that God has planted in our hearts because it has the power to save our souls. So, let's be clear about what that word is. The word that saves and transforms is not our performance or even our own striving—it is the Living Word, our Lord Jesus. Jesus is the One with the power to save your soul, and – as Hunter so clearly reminds us – he's already done it. That is the good news. It's not about what we do. It's about Christ—his life, his saving power, his indwelling presence. This is the true Word with the power we need, both to save and to change us. James reminds us that humbly receiving this gift brings transformation, not only for eternity, but for the here and now. The gospel—the good news of Jesus—has that kind of power. We are invited to look deeply into the “perfect law that sets us free,” to gaze into that mirror and see the origin of our design, the very image of our Creator, and to recognize who we really are in Christ. When we see ourselves through the gospel—when we remember who we are because of the One who lives in us—we find power to overcome, to live newly, to control our tongues as James instructs, and to love those in the world who are most vulnerable. What seemed impossible—self control, selflessness, deep compassion—is now possible, not because of our effort but because of Christ who lives in us and has made us new. So what is the word God has planted in your heart? It is Jesus—and he makes all the difference. Let's remember what we see when we look in that mirror: see him, see what he has done, and see what we have truly become. That's the truth that empowers us to live out this day in his joy, in his power, and in his love. That's the prayer for my own soul. That's the prayer I have for my family—my wife, my daughters, and my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Almighty and ever loving God, you have brought us to the light of a new morning. Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit that we may walk this day in peace. Guard our steps from temptation, shield us from the weight of fear and shame, and lead us deeper into the joy of your presence through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. O Christ, light of the nations, shine in every place where shadows dwell. Call the scattered home, Heal the wounds of division and gather all people into the communion of your grace. May the knowledge of the Lord cover the earth as the waters cover the sea. Amen. And our Lord. Make my hands ready for mercy, make my eyes quick to see the hurting, my ears open to the cry of the lonely, and my feet swift to bring good news. Let me seek to bless, not to be noticed, to serve, not to be praised, to forgive, not to hold back. For in your way is life, in your mercy is healing, and in your love is the peace this world cannot give. Amen. And now, as our Lord has taught us, we are bold to pray. The Lord's Prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Send us a messageIn his blasphemous agenda to replace the One True and Only God of all Creation, Lucifer has fashioned many counterfeits to the Unadulterated Word of God's Truth. And in that mutinous effort, he has orchestrated his own gospel that presents his own “Christ” which is preparing the world for his final and greatest forgery – The Antichrist – through whom he plans to gain the worship of the world that he has always lusted for.It must be noted here that this pompous and lying devil will never succeed in his mutinous agenda – because he has already been defeated by the Blood of the Lamb! However, the Lord God Almighty will allow him to continue for a time - until all that has been written before the foundation of the world is brought to perfect conclusion in the finished work of Jesus Christ – the Living Word of God. Then, this dread enemy dubbed as Satan will be cast into the Lake of Fire – and evil will be put away forever. And as every Prophetic detail is being played out in the world, God's “born again” offspring have been anointed as His Ambassadors of Truth – and as a sacred reflection of the One Who is the True Light – to show the Way unto Eternal Life tothose who have been called to be chosen. New Weekend Sermon Series: This message is a powerful reminder that God's Word is alive, timeless, and overflowing with wisdom for every season of life. It encourages us to see Scripture not as ancient text, but as a personal conversation from the Creator, filled with light, truth, and transformation. The words leap from the page into our hearts, building a faith that is deep, resilient, and full of purpose. Like a bright lamp in the darkness, God's truth lights our path one step at a time. Prayer and obedience become the tools that shape us and strengthen our spiritual foundation. Every verse becomes a seed that, when nurtured, grows into a life overflowing with peace, joy, and strength. In these uncertain times, this message lifts our spirits and calls us to root ourselves in a hope that never fails.Dr. David K. Ewen
Spiritual Warfare is a very vital part of our faith. There is something spiritual impacting what we see in the natural, Always! (2 Corinthians 10:4-6 KJV) Just as Naboth was guilty of nothing, aside from caring for his own vineyard, many of us are targeted as a result of being fruitful. This message is to help identify the attack source, cancel it, and give you the wherewithal to continue being, doing, and receiving ALL that GOD has in store for you! GOD has not and HE will not fail you! That gift, calling, anointing HE has given you is secure in JESUS, despite what they might attempt to do. Let's talk, BIBLE! The LIVING WORD! In today's episode, Host Hunter guides us through a powerful journey in scripture as we read Amos 7–9, Psalm 104, and Titus 2. Together, we reflect on the visions and warnings delivered through the prophet Amos, the majesty and care of God captured in the psalms, and Paul's wise instructions to Titus for living a life that reflects God's grace. Hunter shares a heartfelt meditation on the true famine in our lives—a hunger not for food, but for the Word of God—and invites us to come daily to the table to be nourished by the Living Word, Jesus. We close with prayers for peace, unity, and God's restorative presence in our world and our lives. Whether you're new or returning, join us as we feast on scripture, prayer, and encouragement—reminded once again that you are deeply loved. TODAY'S DEVOTION: There's a famine in the land, but it's not for food. The people may have all the food they need, but they're starving for something far more essential to life: the Word of God. People fill their lives with every imaginable thing, feasting on distractions and pleasures that, in the end, leave them empty and hungry. If we make this life about satisfying our earthly appetites, we end up famished, unsatisfied at the very core. Jesus put it this way: People do not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God. Christ is that bread of life. Our souls will never truly be satisfied until they are satisfied in him, the Living Word. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. The prophet Isaiah asks, “Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food.” God is calling us—listen and eat what is good. Enjoy the finest of food. Stop starving your soul. He has graciously placed a feast before us, a meal we have done nothing to earn and nothing to pay. He simply asks that we come, that we eat. Are you restless? Tired? Hungry? Famished? There's no need to go hungry today. The Living Word is here for you. His Word is gracious toward you. It is the Bread of Life, and it's free of charge. It is Him—his presence, his peace, grace, forgiveness, mercy, and love. At his table, every hunger is satisfied, every thirst is quenched. Come daily to the table and feast on his goodness. Draw strength, draw joy, draw all that you need from him. That's the prayer I have for my own soul. That's the prayer I have for my family—for my wife and my daughters and my son. And that's the prayer I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord of heaven and earth, you have awakened us in your mercy once more. Still our anxious minds, quiet our striving hearts and help us to rest in the knowledge that we are held by you. May we walk in step with your spirit today—not ahead, not behind, but beside you in trust and love through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen. O God of all peoples, you formed every soul in your image and breathed life into every heart. Open the eyes of the nations, soften hearts grown cold, and teach us to live as neighbors and friends. Let your spirit move in power, renew the face of the earth and usher in your reign of peace. Amen. And now, Lord, let me be a bearer of your peace. Where voices divide, let me speak grace. Where fear takes root, let me plant trust. Where the world rushes on, let me walk with you. May I seek not to climb, but to kneel; not to win, but to love; not to grasp, but to give. For it is in emptying that we are filled, in surrender that we are strengthened, and in union with you that we find our truest joy. Amen. And now, as our Lord has taught us, we are bold to pray: Our Father, who art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done On earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, And forgive us our trespasses, As we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, But deliver us from evil. Meditation isn't about mastering information—it's about meeting with God. In this week's message, Pastor Nathan unpacks what it means to meditate on God's Word—not to prove a point or gain head knowledge, but to be with the Living Word and be transformed.
There is no book like the Bible. It is not a dead letter or a relic of the past, but the living voice of the living God. It speaks with divine authority, breathes with divine power, and works with divine precision. It does not merely inform the mind--it pierces the heart! The above verse describes the Word of God as living and active--not stagnant, not silent, not powerless. The same Word that spoke galaxies into being, continues to speak, convict, and transform today. Unlike the dull blade of human reasoning, the Word of God is sharper than any double-edged sword. Its edge is not dulled by time, culture, or resistance. It cuts with divine skill, reaching into the deepest recesses of our being. No other voice can penetrate so deeply, discerning what no eye can see and what no man can judge--the secret thoughts and attitudes of the heart. God's Word divides soul and spirit--terms that speak of the hidden and complex depths of man. It exposes what is natural and carnal, separating it from what is spiritual and holy. It uncovers our hypocrisies, shatters our pride, and strips away all self-deception. This wounding of the Word is not to destroy--it is to heal. It convicts, in order to cleanse. It wounds, that it might restore. It rebukes, to bring repentance. We may hide from men, but we cannot hide from God's Word. When it is wielded by the Holy Spirit, it lays us bare before Him to whom we must give account. Let us never handle the Word deceitfully, carelessly or casually. Let us not harden our hearts to its searching truths. Rather, let us come before it humbly, reverently, and prayerfully--asking the Lord to use it to search us, sift us, and sanctify us. May we ever s

In today's episode—June 3rd, 2025—your host Hunter guides us through day 154 of our journey through the Bible. We dive into Proverbs 25-27 and Romans 15, reading from the New Living Translation, and seek God's wisdom for our lives. Hunter reflects on the power of scripture, reminding us that the Bible's purpose is not to be worshipped, but to point us to Jesus—the living Word and the source of hope and encouragement. As we listen, we explore Paul's call for Christians to grow in harmony, love, and joy—not getting lost in religious disputes, but focusing on a kingdom life marked by peace, patience, and service to others. Hunter leads with heartfelt prayer, encouraging us to be vessels of love and unity in a divided world. So settle in for another rich time in God's Word as together we let scripture shape our hearts, our hope, and our journey of faith. TODAY'S DEVOTION: The scriptures teach us and give us hope and encouragement. I typically spend a little time at the start of each podcast referencing the role that the scriptures play in our lives. And I do this because there's a danger of Christians worshiping their Bible rather than worshiping God. The Bible is not the savior of the world. Jesus is. And here, Paul gives us a description of some of what the Bible is doing in the life of the Christian. In Romans, Paul writes, “Such things were written in the Scriptures long ago to teach us, and the Scriptures give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God's promises to be fulfilled.” So what is it the Bible is doing? It's not only teaching us, but igniting in us hope and encouragement as we walk through this life, as we wait for the fullness of what God has promised. And more specifically, Paul says that God gives this patience and encouragement and helps us live in complete harmony with one another. So it is God—the giver of hope and encouragement—who is working in us through the Scriptures, shaping us to look more like Jesus. The Scriptures, when we approach them with open hearts, direct us to the Living Word, to Christ himself, our source of life. What was Paul waiting patiently for? If we look back, Paul's prayer was that the church—those first followers and us today—would come to know that the kingdom of God is not about rules or regulations or arguments over food and drink, but about a life marked by goodness, peace, and joy in the Spirit. The early church was getting lost in religious arguments, and missing the point: they were missing Christ. Paul isn't discouraged, though. He continues to pray, to point them to the Bible, and so encourages their hearts, that their lives might reflect what the kingdom of God is truly like. God's invitation is to something far bigger than religious questions or cultural debates. The kingdom life is an invitation to goodness, to peace, to joy. It's a life marked by healing, service, and love, even for our enemies. This kingdom life, lived in us and through us, puts Jesus on display. The motivation in this new life isn't fear; it's love, because God's Spirit makes it possible. So, may we be taught today. May we receive hope and encouragement today. May our vision of God's kingdom expand, and our patience deepen as we trust that the best is yet to come. My prayer today—for myself, for my family, and for you—is that we would see it, trust it, and live it out with hope, patience, and courage. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Loving God, you have knit us together in the body of Christ from every nation and tongue. Make us a vessel of your peace today. Where hatred stirs, let us bear your love. Where wounds run deep, let us be agents of pardon. Where fear grips hearts, may we speak faith. Where sorrow hangs heavy, may we carry joy. Teach us to listen more than we speak, to understand before we are understood, to love. For in surrender, we find abundance. In mercy, we discover grace. And in dying, we rise into your life. In the name of Jesus. Amen. And now as our Lord has taught us, we are bold to pray. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Jesus. For countless years, it's been debated who Jesus was, what was His character? Many have asked the question about what's Jesus' place is in the past, the present, and the future. Thankfully, Jesus didn't leave the truth of His existence and His nature shrouded in mystery. Jesus was, Jesus is, and Jesus is to come. He is the Alpha, and He is the Omega. He was before time, He created time, and He stepped in to time not to help us, but to recreate us. Jesus is the Ancient of Days, He is the Living Word. None have come before Him and none will come after Him. He is the light, the truth, the way and He loves us with an intensity that can never be fathomed. Without Jesus, our lives are purposeless and void of true hope and joy. If you don't know Jesus, let us introduce you to Him. He lived to die, if only just for you. Cry out His name, He has always answered. Without Jesus, death is the only certainty. But with Him, eternity is a future we can look to with peace and joy!!!!! We thank you Jesus, for your great love!!!!

Shame. Fear. Identity crisis. Our generation—especially young adults and parents—is silently drowning in hidden battles. We long for freedom, yet so often search for it through striving, rituals, or more information. All the while, we navigate deep waters of confusion, facing demonic resistance and relentless cultural pressure. Does God still show up in the chaos? Can Jesus really meet us in our mess—just as He did the woman at the well? And when we finally meet Him — can we still find it in ourselves to wholly and completely surrender to God?In this episode of the Revelations Podcast, host Reagan Kramer welcomes Laurel Bunker: preacher, educator, and spiritual mother to many. I'm giving it all away for Jesus now, you know. We got to redeem the time.”The cultural tension between Jews and Samaritans sets the stage for Jesus' radical act of compassion and revelation. This moment shatters cultural shame and personal guilt, proving Jesus meets people right where they are.[9:01] Transformation and Worship in Spirit and TruthOne conversation with Jesus turns the Samaritan woman into an evangelist to her entire town. Her transformation ripples outward, showing that personal encounters with truth can spark collective revival.According to Laurel, true worship isn't tied to a location or ritual. Instead, we must act our faith through a surrendered, Spirit-filled life.Living in spirit and truth becomes more than theology—it becomes a multiplying force of freedom.[20:25] Challenges and Encouragement for BelieversLegalism, shame, and spiritual burnout are real struggles for modern believers.Laurel shares how her own religious performance led to exhaustion and how encountering Jesus brought lasting freedom.[22:51] Laurel: “I promise you, growing up all the way into my 20s, in my early 20s, I would look at Christ or images of him, or Christ on the cross, and I wouldn't know who- I didn't know who he was.”Wounds from church experiences don't have to write the final chapter of your faith. Healing and purpose remain possible when we surrender to God.Believers are encouraged to live a lifestyle of repentance, humility, and unfiltered honesty before God.[32:28] The Power of the Holy Spirit in Modern TimesThe Holy Spirit isn't a concept confined to the early church—it's a present force guiding and healing today.Laurel shares stories of spiritual breakthrough and reminds believers that revival begins with personal obedience.Following Jesus means actively listening, discerning, and stepping into purpose led by the Spirit. The call is clear: lean into the Holy Spirit's presence and let Him do the work only He can do.[40:49] Addressing Shame and Finding Freedom in ChristShame distorts identity and silences spiritual authority, but it doesn't have the final word. Laurel herself has journeyed through a valley of deep shame — but Christ's love shattered every lie.Freedom came not through hiding, but through confession and grace. Through the relentless pursuit of truth, she was able to surrender to God.Listeners are urged to stop hiding, start healing, and reclaim their place as sons and daughters of the King.[47:20] Reagan: “That's what Jesus does. He unites people. He does so because he's bringing people together through the truth of the gospel.”[48:40] Living a Life of Worship and ServiceBeing able to surrender to God and worship goes beyond music—it's found in daily acts of obedience, faithfulness, and service.Laurel encourages believers to discover how their unique gifts can be expressions of worship.Even small acts of faithfulness carry weight in the Kingdom when done in love and obedience.Listeners are reminded that God honors hearts surrendered in both the big and the quiet, hidden places.[55:16] Understanding the Spiritual JourneyLiving by the Spirit requires intentional daily surrender.Laurel explains how believers must crucify the flesh and embrace the eternal life birthed through the Spirit. The Holy Spirit becomes the source of joy, healing, and clarity in a chaotic world. It's not about trying harder, but walking in step with the Spirit who renews us from the inside out.[1:03:38] Laurel: “I refuse to give human beings and this world more praise and more of my energy and my day than I give the one who gave his life for me.”[1:12:22] An Invitation to Surrender to GodRather than striving to fix what's broken, listeners are encouraged to sit with Jesus—just as they are—and receive the healing that only His love can bring. No weapon formed against you will prosper. No lie of the enemy can stand against the truth of your identity in Christ.Say yes to restoration. Say yes to Jesus. Surrender to God and let your journey of healing begin—right here, right now.About LaurelLaurel Bunker is a seasoned preacher, educator, and spiritual leader with over three decades of ministry experience across higher education, nonprofits, and the local church. Our vision statement at Living Word is "Live the Gospel; Preach the Gospel". Before we live it and preach it, though, we need to know it. What is the Gospel, and what does it mean to live it? Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
When it comes to your identity in Christ, it's not about finding yourself ... but losing yourself in God. It's about letting go of the image you have of yourself. It's about releasing who you wished you could be and holding on tight to who God says you already are. In this sermon, Trevor Knox gives us three questions to ask ourselves when it comes to our identities. We could listen to the lies of this world that tell us we aren't enough. We could listen to the lies that leave us striving for love and wanting to prove ourselves. Or, we could turn to the Living Word that tells us we are God's workmanship, dearly loved and enough because He says we are enough.
How does learning and confessing the Living Word change us? Rabbi Schneider shares that training ourselves in the Word of God, we are transformed on the inside. When we receive the Holy Spirit, we receive the ability to hear from God and to talk with God. The Holy Spirit is speaking to you through the written Word of God and the Living Word of God—Jesus. Jesus is your Living Savior. Visit our website at DiscoveringTheJewishJesus.com

It's April 30th and we've reached day 121 in our journey through the Scriptures—a milestone marking the close of another month together in 2025. Today's episode takes us through powerful passages in 2 Samuel 6, 1 Chronicles 13, Psalm 68, and Matthew 17. Hunter, our host, invites us to pause from the rush of life and soak in God's Word, letting it speak deeply into our hearts. This episode delves into the dramatic story of moving the Ark of God, David's uninhibited worship, and the consequences of disregarding God's holiness. We reflect on the blessing that follows reverence and obedience, and the ways God's presence transforms lives and communities. In the New Testament, we ascend the mountain with Jesus, Peter, James, and John for the Transfiguration—a breathtaking vision of God's glory and the Father's resounding call to “listen to Him.” Hunter shares moving insights on how Jesus is the final and living Word, the One who remains when all other voices fade away, and how God is drawing all humanity to Himself for true transformation. We'll close, as always, with prayer—asking God to make us instruments of His peace, to renew our minds and hearts, and to carry us forward in the strength of His joy. So grab your Bible, settle in, and join us as we listen, reflect, and pray together on today's Daily Radio Bible. TODAY'S DEVOTION: The pathway to real transformation is seen here on this mountain. This story is about far more than Jesus' clothes being transformed, made dazzling white, whiter than snow. It's about you and me. It's about the world and all things being transformed. In this story, we are offered a vision and a voice. The first thing we see is that Jesus—he's the final word. He's the one we're told to listen to over and above all else. Not Elijah. Not Moses. Not the writings. Not the Torah. Not Peter. Not me. Not you. Peter witnesses this amazing moment—there he is. Suddenly, Elijah and Moses are speaking with Jesus on the mountain, and Peter, out of fear or pride or probably both, shouts out, “Lord, it's good for us to be here. If you wish, I'll make three tabernacles here. One for you, one for Moses, one for Elijah.” Peter thinks somehow he's going to have some final say here. And so we hear him say those words: “I will make a tabernacle.” Other translations render it, “let us build.” But “let us build” is not the final word. No. Those words are often born out of fear and pride, but they will never be the final word. Individuals and kingdoms and churches are always offering this as the final word—let us build. But fear, which makes us cower, and pride, which puffs us up, will all be subsumed in the end by God's voice, by God himself, the living word. And we see that here. Suddenly, a cloud envelops them, and a voice comes from the cloud. The voice they hear is the Father, saying: “This is my son that I love. Listen to him.” At the sound of his voice, they're terrified. They fall face down to the ground. It's at this point that Jesus comes and touches them, says, “Get up. Don't be afraid.” When they look up, nobody is there but Jesus. Moses, Elijah, gone. Only Jesus remains. No more voices. No more conversations. Only Jesus. The one who is the final word. He's the one that remains, and he—the living word—will envelop all of our fearful pride. His voice will break through all things, and he will make all things new. So let's hear the father's voice on this mountain today. He's pointing us to his son. And not just on this mountain, but on a different mountain. This whole episode is pointing us to Calvary's mountain. And not just Peter, James, and John are being drawn to Calvary's mountain—no, he's drawing all of humanity there to himself. When the Son of Man is lifted up, he will draw all humanity to himself, that he might transform all things—including you and me. And the prayer of my own heart today is that I'll hear the Father well. That I'll see what Peter, James, and John saw. That Jesus is the final word. He is the living word. And through him, he's making all things new. That's a prayer that I have for my family, for my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's a prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen. Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen. And now Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. And where there is sadness, Joy. Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life. Amen And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray... Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ. Amen.
