We love to talk about new seasons, new experiences, and new periods, but what defines them? In this timely live message rewind (Season 1 Episode 22) preached by Apostle Dr. Lee Ann Marino at Jesus People Arts and Worship Center in Asheville, North Carolina (Pastor Tom Cash) come to insights about what God has to say to you about change - about the dangers in following every trend, news story, idea, and fad that comes along (yes, even the ones that seem good for us) and why following the crowd unto tradition can be just as problematic to keep us from our new pressings and periods as anything else. New Wine, Old Wineskin | Dave Hamers by iSEE CHURCH
In 2026, we're slowing down to soak in the story that invites us to believe. The Gospel of John doesn't just tell us what Jesus did—it reveals who He is. Through signs and stories, questions and conversations, light and life, John calls us again and again to “come and see.” Over the next year, we'll walk with Jesus from the opening words—“In the beginning”—to the empty tomb, discovering how encountering Christ shapes our faith, our hope, and our everyday lives. This is more than a study; it's an invitation to deeper belief and fuller life. Learn more with Pastor John. Also, we highly encourage you to download the Church Center App if you want more information about the church. The app will be able to guide you toward our Calendar of Events, ways to Give, and fill out a Connect Card.

New Wine: Whole, Not Just Holy | The Weight Of The Pour
In this episode we unpack Jesus' image of new wine and old wineskins, showing how first-century legalism distorted God's intent and why Jesus introduced a new way of relating to God. We then connect that teaching to today, warning against the misuse of Scripture for political agendas—whether on Israel, segregation, or Christian nationalism—and urging listeners to be discerning and faithful to the true message of the gospel.

Some people think that being spiritual means being rigid, critical, and always thinking about rules. But where's the joy? On this episode of The Verdict, Pastor John Munro reminds us that Jesus brings a new life of freedom, joy, and celebration.
Are you sometimes overwhelmed by the problems and politics of our world today? And do spiritual things seem to get lost amid rules and harsh words? On this episode of The Verdict, Pastor John Munro explains that following Jesus isn't meant to be a life of gloom and doom. It's meant to be a life of hope and abundant joy!
It's time to embrace the new season of the Lord. It's time to replace old wineskins with new wineskins so that the Lord can pour new wine into our lives! There is a fire from the Lord that will ignite a passion in our hearts that will lead to victory. This message will help to give you a fresh fire and filling that only God can give!
Continuing the "Ferment" series, Pastor Scott Engebretson explores one of Jesus' most challenging teachings: the parable of the wineskins. Drawing from the calling of Levi in Luke 5:27-39, Scott discusses the radical nature of following Jesus, which requires more than just "tacking" Him onto an old life. Using the metaphors of unshrunk cloth and new wine, he explains that the "bubbling energy" of God's Kingdom cannot be contained by old systems or tattered souls. Scott challenges the Northwest Vineyard community to consider what it means to "leave everything" to receive a new heart of flesh and a new garment of righteousness, rather than settling for the comfort of the "old wine". The first few months of the new year, between Hanukkah and Purim, are a time of battle between a miracle and the promise of the miracle. God wants to bring a new thing, but we cannot stay in disbelief, doubt, and disillusionment from our past. As we shift our habits and patterns in alignment with faith, we are ready to receive what He is preparing for us. Join Rabbi and Darrell as they share tools to help you realign with your purpose and God's plans in the new year, and lead in a prayer for healing and breakthrough, specifically for families struggling with infertility.

"If you're going to choose to drink wine, then choose a sulfite-free wine or even try a product that will remove some of the histamines and some of the sulfites." ~Jacqui Bryan Today on Beating Cancer Daily:· Sulfite sensitivity can develop at any time during your life, even if you've previously consumed sulfites without issue.· Cancer treatments like chemotherapy and radiation may heighten sensitivity to sulfites and other additives.· Sulfites are not just in wine but also in dried fruit, fruit juices, jams, jellies, potato products, breads, and more.· People with asthma are at increased risk for sulfite sensitivity, and 5% of asthmatic individuals may be affected.· Symptoms of sulfite sensitivity include headaches, dizziness, wheezing, hives, difficulty swallowing, and even anaphylactic reactions.· Sulfite sensitivity is distinct from a true allergy, and there are no reliable medical tests for it; elimination diets can help identify triggers.· Reading food and drink labels for sulfite-containing additives (like sulfur dioxide and sodium bisulfite) is key for those concerned.· Working with a registered nutrition professional and informing your medical team can help tailor dietary approaches to sulfite sensitivities. 2025 People's Choice Podcast Awards Finalist Ranked the Top 5 Best Cancer Podcasts by CancerCare News in 2024 & 2025,and #1 Rated Cancer Survivor Podcast by FeedSpot in 2024 Beating Cancer Daily is listened to in over 130 countries across 7 continents and features over 390 original daily episodes hosted by Stage IV survivor Saranne Rothberg.
