With no musical background in her family, at the age of 9 started playing guitar.   Sarah Gosling BBC introducing Cornwall & Devon   'We have something new, bare and brilliant from fresh find Shannon Lewis. I love anyone who’s a bit experimental with format and seemingly sampling her own song at the beginning is a genius way of doing that. This is ‘The Abyss’. I think that’s utterly stunning, well done Shannon. We don't normally allow covers as its a singer songwriter evening, however, during Bob's line check he started playing along with the Radiohead song that was playing. Listening to it through the headphones to how good it was we decided to turn off the music and let everyone else listen, so his set starts with this song before the this very accomplished musician and singer went onto perform hi own material.
