A podcast talking all things fat loss, mindset and life!
In this episode I take a look at some of the realities we need to face in terms of undertaking a fat loss journey.I am a big exponent of the need to be kind to ourselves and the importance of finding self compassion on the way, but the reality is, fat loss, while not complicated, isn't always easy. Choices and sacrifices will need to be made, a little restriction is necessary, but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy the journey too. Getting really clear not only on our why and on what we want, but also on what we are willing to do, and not willing to do to achieve our goal, is the best and most real place to begin. Hope you enjoy, and thanks for listening. ❤️
In this episode I had the pleasue of being joined by the incredible Saoirse Kelly

In this episode I was delighted to speak with Luke Murray, an incredible physiotherapist who has such a refreshing and holistic approach to how best to manage and treat pain and injury. We talked about when and how we can judge if it is wise to push through pain, why it is important to move our bodies, learning to trust our bodies, even if we have been neglecting them for a while and why being overweight, in and of itself, is never a good enough reason for a diagnosis. And he answers some of your questions! Luke also shared his own really interesting story with injury and pain as a younger man, his fascinating work as a physio and his decision to then study medicine. Luke's Instagram page is full of brilliant information and details of how to contact him. Thanks so much Luke, it was a pleasure to hear your knowledge and words of wisdom. In this episode I share a chat I had with psychotherapist Kathleen Duffy. Kathleen is a highly respected expert in the whole area of dreamwork, how it is used in psychotherapy and how is can also be so beneficial to us in our day to day lives when we pay attention to the wisdom our dreams are bringing to us. Her knowledge is so interesting and I hope you get something from and enjoy this episode! As always you can Dm me on Instagram lisaanne_campbell, and thank you for listening ❤️
In this episode I discuss the fact that so many of us worry about ruining our weight loss progress over periods such as Christmas time, and the importance of reflecting on what progress actually means to us. I also look at ways to avoid panic around food and alcohol over the holiday season, and adjusting our mindset so that we can approach Christmas without fearing it. Hope you enjoy - you can dm me your thoughts on Instagram ❤️ lisaanne_campbell
This episode is about the importance of taking time now in the lead up to the festive season to prepare our mindset and emotional selves for Christmas. In the run up to Christmas, our focus can often be on the practical arrangements, food, presents, social events and it is all too easy to forget to include the a little bit of planning around our minds. How do we want to feel? What kind of emotional place do we want to be at heading into the new year after all the excitement has come and gone? And how to we go about honouring our current needs while still holding the traditions that are important to us dear? Hope you enjoy! DM on Instagram lisaanne_campbell with your thoughts! ❤️
In this episode I look at navigating eating out while trying to lose fat - not just in terms of practicalities, but I think perhaps more importantly in relation to our mindset towards it. I also answer some of your questions. And go on a few tangents here and there too
Back for Season 2
Today I got to have my long suffering PT at the gym, the marvellous Richie, on the podcast. We talked about the importance for training not only for the physical benefits, but the overall life benefits it brings too, how to start if you are overweight or unfit, what to do on the days when you just don't feel like going and plenty more. It was a pleasure (and great for me to be in charge for once
In this bonus episode I talk about being away from home for a few days and how I handled that while I am in a calorie defecit - the mindset shifts that have helped me accommodate it and most importantly how my reaction when I am home again is key - neither one of guilt or punishment, nor overcompensating by cutting calories to make up for it. I hope you find this helpful - as always I appreciate feed back, you can DM me on Instagram lisaanne_campbell. Thanks for listening listening❤️
In this episode I handed the topics over to you the listeners. I discuss how to make the weekends work on a diet, what to do in a weight loss plateau, why and what a calorie defecit is, my 'why on my weight loss journey and what feeds my soul (that was my favourite!), my opinion on weight loss medications and more. As always I welcome you feedback, you can DM me on Instagram at lisaanne_campbell. Thank you for listening and I hope you enjoy!
In this episode I discuss how my idea of perfectionism stood in my way in all things - particularly in terms of starting and sustaining weight loss. Striving for perfection can be so damaging, leading us to all or nothing thinking, having unrealistic expectations, procrastination and ultimately burnout. In my case I realise now that I was unconsciously using it as a defense against being judged. Moving to a place of 'good enough' has been freeing and beneficial in so many ways. I always welcome feedback - you can DM on Instagram: lisaanne_campbell. Hope you enjoy and thanks for listening!

What a pleasure and an honour it was to have Sean Casey on this episode and it was only fitting that he should be my first ever guest. And what an episode it is! Sean's approach to weight loss and what I have learnt from him and as a member of GleanApp has changed my life and allowed me to finally crack fat loss after battling with it for decades. Sean shared his wisdom on not judging others, the importance of empathy and education in any weight loss journey, why he built Glean App and his hopes for every person who joins to achieve their goals while still enjoying life. We talked about his approach to handling criticism with confidence and openness, the satisfaction he gets from helping others, building businesses based on his passions and much more.
