You're strong. Capable. Driven. But what if your next breakthrough isn't in pushing harder—but surrendering sooner? This episode names the cost of override and the shift that brings real power back online. You've pushed through seasons that would have undone other people. You know how to keep going. You've made it work. But what if the push that once made you powerful is now the very thing draining your strength? In this episode of the Identity-Level Recalibration Podcast, Julie Holly names what high-capacity humans often refuse to admit:Override isn't always strength—it's often survival.Whether it's:Overcommitting even when your body is tiredAvoiding the signals your nervous system keeps sendingWhite-knuckling a life you were never meant to carry alone…the deeper invitation is not to push harder, but to pause sooner. This episode explores:✔️ The cost of override on your body, energy, and identity✔️ Why avoidance isn't failure—it's nervous system intelligence✔️ How high-functioning patterns like wine, work, or distraction can become coping✔️ The ILR truth: Capacity is not the same as alignment✔️ The subtle lie that “just one more push” will finally bring peaceYou'll also hear how a bike ride turned into a metaphor for a life lived too close to the edge—and how a gentle surrender opened the door to healing, clarity, and peace.Today's Micro-Recalibration PromptWhere are you still pushing past what's wise, just to prove you're strong?Where are you pretending “it's just one more push”—even though you've said that ten times already?Text yourself this reminder:"I am strong enough to stop before I break."That's not weakness. You've grown — but the old space still holds expectations. This episode helps high-capacity humans release guilt and reframe expansion as stewardship. You've changed. But the systems, relationships, and roles around you? They haven't.What used to fit now feels tight. What once felt like “home” now leaves you restless. And yet… you hesitate to move forward. Because no one told you that outgrowing the mold isn't betrayal — it's responsibility. In today's episode of Identity-Level Recalibration, Julie Holly speaks directly to high-capacity humans who've done the work, gained clarity, and now find themselves in misaligned environments that no longer reflect who they're becoming. This episode will guide you through:Why letting go of what used to work is not abandonment, it's alignmentHow perfectionism, people-pleasing, or past conditioning keep you “performing” for roles you've already outgrownThe difference between disclosure and true vulnerabilityWhy stewardship sometimes means stepping away — not sticking it outA powerful recalibration moment from the life of Ray Kroc — and how his expansion mindset changed everythingYou'll walk away with language for what you're feeling, clarity on what it means, and permission to grow forward — without guilt or apology. To make it easy for you to apply this, every episode includes a Micro-Recalibration — a small, identity-aligned action you can take today. Many listeners use these prompts for journaling or reflection, and they're often shared with friends or teammates navigating similar growth. Here's your recalibration for today:Micro-Recalibration Prompt:Where in your life are you still trying to fit a mold you've already outgrown?Name the space — and how it used to serve youAsk: “If I saw this as stewardship, not self-centeredness… what would I do next?”Then take one small step toward alignment. If you lead others — where might your permission to grow become someone else's permission to try?Because when you expand, you create space for others to rise.Remember: You're not too much. You're just too expanded for the container that once held you.If this episode gave you language you've been missing, please rate and review the show so more high-capacity humans can find it. Bruce Lee once said “Don't speak negatively about yourself, even as a joke. Your body doesn't know the difference. Words are energy and they cast spells.” At the time, this sounded a little crazy, but with modern science, we can understand this more. Your words literally change your biology, and both positive and negative words have power of your mind, your body, and your health. This episode dives into the science and practical applications of positive affirmations, vibrations and freuency as taught by other scientists that we've had on the show like Dr. Gerald Pollack and Dr. Bruce Lipton.    TOPICS DISCUSSED IN THIS EPISODE: What spiritual psychology is and how it's scientifically different than the "woo woo" The power of "I am" statements, mantras, and theta brainwave programming The science of water, vibration, and food blessing  Generational trauma and epigenetics   Meditation for the restless or distracted mind  Balancing healthy living with freedom from perfectionism   More from Erin Doppelt: Instagram: @erinrdoppelt Website: erinracheldoppelt.com   Leave us a Review: https://www.reversablepod.com/review   Need help with your gut? HEAR Today's Ministry Now with Michael Molthan! Join former luxury home builder and The M2 The Rock podcast host, Michael Molthan, as he shares how his time in prison became the turning point that brought freedom, forgiveness, and healing — not just for himself, but for countless others struggling with addiction.About M2 THE ROCK - MICHAEL MOLTHAN:I'm Michael Molthan, host of The M2 The Rock Show—one of the fastest-growing podcasts and shows on self-improvement, mental health, addiction recovery, and spiritual transformation. I'm so grateful you're here.I started M2 The Rock in 2017 to bring you conversations designed to make you happier, healthier, and more healed. Through raw and unfiltered discussions with experts, celebrities, thought leaders, and athletes, we uncover new perspectives on personal growth, recovery, and overcoming life's toughest challenges. My Story:What sets my journey apart is that there wasn't just one rock bottom—there were many. From being a successful luxury homebuilder to falling into addiction, homelessness, crime, and eventually 27 mugshots and prison, my life was in absolute chaos.Addiction was my temporary escape from childhood trauma, but it only led to destruction. It wasn't until I hit the lowest point imaginable that I finally found true freedom, redemption, and purpose. After an unexpected early release from prison in 2017, I walked 300 miles back to Dallas to turn myself in—only to be miraculously pardoned and told to “pay it forward.”And that's exactly what I've been doing ever since. My MissionI believe that rock bottom is not the end—it's a stepping stone to something greater. My goal is to redefine what "rock bottom" means by helping others rebuild their Spirit, Mind, and Body. On M2 The Rock, I speak openly about trauma, addiction, recovery, and the power of transformation. I don't shy away from topics like:✅ Trauma & Addiction – Understanding the root causes✅ Self-Sabotage & Mental Health – Breaking negative cycles✅ Codependency & Enabling – How relationships impact recovery✅ 12-Step Programs & Spiritual Healing – Finding true freedom✅ Religious Trauma & Personal Growth – Healing from past wounds"Everyone Is An Addict."Whether it's substances, work, validation, or negative thinking, we all have something we struggle with. But recovery is possible, and transformation is real.

I see you. I've been you. And I'm here to ask: What is it that you would like today?  We're digging into the powerful (and sneaky) influence of the inner critic—how she pushes us to do more, be more, and never ask for help. I'll share how naming your inner critic, getting curious about your unmet needs, and choosing to invest in yourself (even in small ways) can shift everything.  If you're ready to stop running on obligation and start living from clarity and self-trust, this episode will meet you right where you are. Let's talk self-care, soul connection, and quieting the inner voice that says you're only valuable when you're producing.

Do you ever feel like you're in a constant battle—whether with opposing counsel, difficult colleagues, or even your own self-doubt? As lawyers, our minds are one of our most powerful tools. Yet, many of us unintentionally fuel the very struggles we're trying to overcome, expending mental energy that could be better used to create the results we truly want.   In this episode, I'll share three thinking strategies that can revolutionize how you approach challenges in both your legal practice and life. Drawing on insights from thought leaders like Dr. Joe Dispenza and Neville Goddard, I'll show you how strategic thinking, grounded in both science and personal growth, can lead to tangible outcomes. By the end of this episode, you'll have a concrete framework for using your mind strategically, allowing you to create the results you want without overexerting yourself or overthinking.   Get full show notes and more information here: https://thejoyfulpractice.com/220

Our mission is to share hope, not affiliation."About M2 THE ROCK - MICHAEL MOLTHAN:I'm Michael Molthan, host of The M2 The Rock Show—one of the fastest-growing podcasts and shows on self-improvement, mental health, addiction recovery, and spiritual transformation.
