Whether it's #MedTwitter, academic conference hashtags, or docs on TikTok teaching us the latest on skin care and healthy living, we have all started to realize that social media has increasingly become a popular tool in medicine to connect with colleagues and patients. In today's episode, we speak with Dr. Rena Malik, a urologist at the University of Maryland, on her own experiences using social media professionally to connect and collaborate with colleagues and patients. We hope this episode can give us some tips on how to get involved in the virtual conversation and use social media as a means of networking in today's day and age.

As third years, we are transitioning into a different lifestyle than what we have experienced in the first two years of medical school. In this two-part special series that hits extremely close to home, we hear from four MS2's who are leaders within the American Medical Women's Association (AMWA). These conversations shed light on a wide range of topics - from family life to advocacy to how everyone has a role within the women in medicine movement. Tune in and join us! And those who have experience working within it know how hard it is to speak up and the importance of establishing a feedback-driven culture.
