"Lords of Dogtown" chronicles the rise of the California-based Z-Boys skate team in the 1970's. This skate team revolutionized skateboarding and changed the sport forever. High School basketball is like a religion to those in Indiana. This is why the story of the small-town Milan High School basketball team winning the State Championship in 1954 inspired Indiana Native Angelo Pizzo to write the screenplay for “Hoosiers”.
