(00:00-27:54) – Query & Company opens a Friday with Jake Query and producer Eddie Garrison discussing the Indiana Pacers with General Manager Chad Buchanan joining JMV yesterday to discuss drafting Braden Smith and potentially breaking up the core group of players for the right guy to get an impactful player. Jake plays some of the comments that Buchanan made and draws parallel between Braden Smith and Anthony Richardson. (27:54-41:12) – There is racing going on next week at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway! Jakeb Boxell from USAC joins Jake Query to discuss the impact that Brian Clausen had on him and IMS continuing to remember him by having the BC39 every year at the dirt track. (41:12-49:04) – Jake Query concludes the first hour of the show by reacting to the breaking news that Caitlin Clark will be out for the Fever’s game on Saturday against the Sparks. (49:04-1:18:00) – Jake Query tips off the second hour of Query & Company by getting more into the polarization of Caitlin Clark on social media. It leads to Jake giving his perspective on how the WNBA views its biggest superstar and taking calls from listeners that have opinions on how Clark is handled by the Indiana Fever and WNBA. (1:18:00-1:31:55) – Every Friday on Query & Company is a Good For The Heart Friday and Jake shares a feel-good story sponsored by Franciscan Health. For today’s story, Jake updates listeners on a friend of the show that is in Minnesota competing in the Special Olympics. They also get into all the social media attention that Clark gets in comparison to the rest of the stars in the WNBA and if she is aware of all of the things that get over-analyzed on social media. (2:13:29-2:22:47) – The United States Men’s National Team wrapped up group play last night with a 3-2 loss to Turkey. One thing that Jake has learned during his consumption of the World Cup is how countries brand themselves in these major events and learning more about how they want to be pronounced versus how they get pronounced. (2:22:47-2:26:04) – The show closes out with JMV joining Jake Query to preview his show!Support the show: https://1075thefan.com/query-and-company/See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Jake also opines on the Indiana Pacers trading into the second round last night to select Purdue’s Braden Smith. (25:21-41:59) – After the Indiana Pacers traded with the Chicago Bulls to select Braden Smith, Jake had a thought that a lot of people haven’t considered. Would he want to be drafted by his hometown NBA team? Will there be added pressure on Smith and the Pacers if it doesn’t work out? (41:59-50:51) – Jake Query concludes the first hour of the show by playing, and reacting, to what Indiana Fever Head Coach Stephanie White said last night after the game about the way Caitlin Clark is officiated. (1:30:52-1:42:12) – Hour number two of Query & Company concludes with Jake and Eddie further discussing Caitlin Clark and the way that the veteran players in the WNBA viewed her entering the league and how that opinion hasn’t changed. (1:42:12-2:06:51) – The final hour of Query & Company starts out with Jake and Eddie continuing some Michael Jackson banter with him passing away 17 years ago today. They get back into the two big topics of the day. First, Jake points out how Stephanie White went to bat for Caitlin Clark last night, but nobody is really crediting her for that. Secondly, where does Braden Smith fit in within the Pacers this season? (2:06:51-2:20:21) – Sean Deveney from Heavy.com makes his debut appearance on Query & Company to give his perspective on the Indiana Pacers heading into next season. Should they be viewed as a contender in the Eastern Conference? What kind of future does he see for Braden Smith in the NBA? Plus, he gives his overall thoughts on the NBA Draft by crediting the Milwaukee Bucks for drafting two players with a lot of good traits with room to develop. The Devil's Ledger — June 22, 2026 This week on The Devil's Ledger, we celebrate the United States Men's National Team advancing out of the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and recognize the incredible efforts of host cities across the United States, Canada, and Mexico for welcoming fans from around the world. Then we dive into another week of strange stories, unsettling mysteries, and sinister tales from across the Evio Creative universe. We begin, as always, with The Creepiest Thing I Heard This Week—the disturbing true story of a family who purchased a foreclosed home in Connecticut only to discover three sets of human remains inside. What should have been the start of a new chapter quickly became the center of a mystery years in the making. On The Devil Within, we gather around the campfire for Something in the Water. What begins as a relaxing getaway at Table Rock Lake becomes a terrifying encounter with something lurking beneath the surface. Strange events, unexplained encounters, and a growing realization that whatever is in the lake wants to be seen force a group of friends to confront a chilling question: what happens when something ancient decides it wants your attention? On Criminal Mischief, Carolyn Ossorio delivers another unforgettable story. This isn't a notorious serial killer or a decades-old wrongful conviction. It's something far more relatable—and perhaps more frightening because of it. A case that reminds us how quickly an ordinary day can become a nightmare and how vulnerable we all are to dangers hiding in plain sight. On The Slippery, the bizarre saga of Jose Lantigua continues. A successful businessman claims to be suffering from a rare and terminal illness allegedly connected to his past as a CIA operative. After traveling to Venezuela for a secret experimental procedure, he disappears—leaving behind unanswered questions, a multimillion-dollar insurance policy, and investigators who suspect nothing is as it seems. And in This Week in Horror, we take a look at Corporate Retreat, a new horror film in which a company leadership retreat descends into chaos, violence, and death. As alliances crumble and secrets emerge, the greatest threat may not be lurking in the wilderness—it may be sitting in the next boardroom chair.

Hey, soccer fans! The United States Men's National Team put on a historic performance against Paraguay in their openeing match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, defeating the South American side 4-1. An own goal got the scoring started for the Yanks, but Falorin Balogun bagged a brace, and Gio Reyna pitched in, as well. The USMNT dominated all stages of the game, coming out strong, controlling the pace, and breaking down a good Paraguayan defence to score - all things critics have pointed out over the last several matches. It's a great moment for the US Men and for American soccer fans. Let's keep it going! Nick also recaps the World Cup scoreboard and results, highlighting notable matches and results, and how it could affect the knockout rounds. We also discuss the Chicago Fire's latest transfer targets. Polish striker Robert Lewandowski was in Chicago for a visit and meetings, and left impressed with the organization. It is now up to him to consider the Men in Red's offer - rumored to be up to $22 million a year for 2-3 years. German international Leon Goretzka has also been targed by the Fire, who are looking for more creativity out of their midfield. Could we see the two Bayern Munich stars reunite in Chicago? The Fire are also rumored to have interest in Australian international and Heart of Midlothian midfielder Cammy Devlin. I'm sure he'll be a hard target to obtain after a good perofrmance by the Aussies this World Cup. Tune in and join the conversation! Is Western civilization collapsing before our very eyes? This week on What The Frock?, Rabbi Dave and Friar Rod examine the mounting evidence. FIFA has managed to anger soccer fans around the world just as the 2026 World Cup gets underway. Seattle is hosting a controversial Pride-themed match. The United States Men's National Team suddenly looks competent. And somehow, mandatory hydration breaks have become the latest battleground in the war between sports and advertising. But that is only the beginning. In Australia, authorities have seized more than 100,000 illegal exotic cockroaches from a breeder whose life choices raise more questions than answers. Meanwhile, language experts are now telling us that grammar rules many of us spent years learning can simply be ignored. Is nothing sacred anymore? If that were not enough, scientists are exploring a theory that information itself may have physical mass, a discovery that could help explain dark matter, dark energy, and perhaps even whether reality is a giant simulation. Naturally, Rabbi Dave immediately begins exploring the practical applications of deleting people from existence with the power of thought.Along the way, the conversation wanders through World Cup chaos, social media outrage, scientific speculation, grammar wars, illegal insects, and the timeless human habit of declaring that civilization is about to come to an end.As always, What The Frock? is where big questions, strange headlines, historical perspective, and complete nonsense meet around the same table. So grab a cup of coffee, take your mandatory FIFA-approved hydration break, and join Rabbi Dave and Friar Rod as they investigate the latest signs that the world may be losing its mind.Or perhaps it already has.#WhatTheFrock #RabbiDave #FriarRod #WorldCup2026 #FIFA #USMNT #SoccerNews #WorldCup #Seattle #FIFAControversy #HydrationBreak #GrammarWars #EnglishGrammar #SingularThey #WesternCivilization #EndOfWesternCivilization #CultureCommentary #CurrentEvents #ComedyPodcast #HumorPodcast #IllegalCockroaches #AustraliaNews #MadagascarHissingCockroach #DarkMatter #SimulationTheory #InformationTheory #Physics #ScienceNews #WeirdNews #StrangeNews #PodcastLife #SocialCommentary #ModernCulture #DontPanic #HitchhikersGuide #CurrentAffairs

The show opens with speculation surrounding Brandon Aiyuk after the star receiver posted an Instagram post in Washington, D.C., prompting Chris Russell to debate whether the visit is meaningful or simply social media-fueled speculation, while also reacting to comments from Wes Welker about the Washington Commanders wide receiver room and its outlook for the season. The conversation continues with reaction to the NFL clearing Stefon Diggs of any personal conduct violation, leading into a broader discussion of general manager Adam Peters' plan to support quarterback Jayden Daniels through player development and long-term roster construction rather than splashy additions. Later, Chris shifts to international soccer as United States Men's National Soccer Team prepares to face Paraguay National Football Team in the World Cup, explaining why he does not automatically support national teams and breaking down the significant cost fans would face to attend every Team USA match through a potential World Cup Final run. The show also touches on the Stanley Cup Final, where John Tortorella boldly predicts a Game 7 despite the Vegas Golden Knights trailing the Carolina Hurricanes, before closing with listener reactions on Washington's receiving corps and whether another move is still needed before training camp.
With the United States Men's National Soccer Team set to face Paraguay in the World Cup, Chris Russell explains why he has never subscribed to automatic or blind support of national teams simply because they represent the United States. Instead, he discusses how fandom is shaped by personal investment, interest in the sport, and the way teams conduct themselves on the field. From there, the conversation turns to the cost of following Team USA throughout a deep tournament run, as Chris breaks down what fans could expect to spend on tickets for every U.S. match if the Americans were to advance all the way to the World Cup Final, highlighting the significant financial commitment required to experience the entire journey in person.

From who will lift the trophy to who will win the Golden Boot and which nation could fall short of expectations, The Cooligans put their reputations on the line with their boldest World Cup takes. Then, Colombian actress and global superstar Sofía Vergara joins the show to talk about growing up in a soccer-obsessed Colombia, her favorite World Cup memories and why she's excited to see the tournament return to North America. Next, Curacao goalkeeper Eloy Room stops by to discuss one of the most remarkable stories of the 2026 World Cup. For the Glory KC is back with the 173rd episode of the show! Before we get to the Kansas City Current and the safety (or lack thereof) of Chris Armas' job, there is a little bit of other KC soccer news to handle.Sporting Kansas City had the week off, but new owner Peter Mallouk kept them in the headlines with a response that he plays to spend "a lot" on the SKC roster. We delve into that. We also have to talk about the rough 5-2 loss the United States Men's National Team experienced against Belgium. Is it a wakeup call or a sign of things to come at the 2026 World Cup?Then we get to the main event of this week's podcast. While Sporting KC were resting, the KC Current had no rest and one of their worst weeks in recent memory. They piled up two more losses, bringing their total to three in four tries. Their third loss came on March 28th this season, when it took until October 18th in 2025. That's almost a seven-month swing!I brought in guest host and regular KC Soccer Journal contributor, Xander Kennedy, to help me break down what the heck is going wrong with the Current. Sure, they are a little banged up and missing back-to-back NWSL MVP in Temwa Chawinga, but the roster is still absolutely loaded with talent. We have to ask, is Chris Armas on the hot seat?We delve into what we know about how the team is performing and try to discern what is coaching versus what is on the players, the NWSL schedule makers, etc. That means we have to analyze the two brutal losses to the Seattle Reign and the Portland Thorns from this past week.Xander and I also try to answer a few extra questions I have about the team:Is Ally Sentnor a bad fit for KC?Is Armas misusing Croix Bethune? In the Digital Crawl, we hit on a few more topics, including:KC Comets come up short on the ShieldSKC II drop another resultDenver Summit are breaking recordsHere is a rundown of sections and start times:Sporting KC - 1:57USMNT/Belgium - 17:03KC Current - 27:16Digital Crawl - 1:35:15Upcoming GamesKosovo vs. Turkiye - TUES, March 31st @ 2:45PM CTUSMNT vs Portugal - TUES, March 31st @ 6:00PM KC Current vs. Gotham - SAT, April 4th @ 3:00PMSporting KC @ Real Salt Lake - SAT, April 4th @ 3:30PMAs a special gift to For the Glory KC listeners and KC Soccer Journal readers, Backheeled.com is giving away 30 days of their amazing, independent American soccer coverage for free. On this episode of The Cooligans, Christian Polanco and Alexis Guerreros dive into the early MLS season and ask a big question: are LAFC already pulling away from the rest of the league? With Vancouver and Inter Miami chasing close behind, the guys break down whether anyone can keep up with LAFC's dominant start or if we're witnessing the beginning of another runaway season. Across the Atlantic, Liverpool's frustrating habit of dropping points late in matches continues, raising questions about whether new manager Arne Slot deserves some blame. The hosts also take a look at Pep Guardiola and whether his legendary run with Manchester City F.C. might finally be losing its edge. Meanwhile, Chelsea F.C. receive what feels like a light punishment for breaking Premier League financial rules—did they get off too easy? Plus, the guys fire off quick reactions to some of the week's strangest and funniest football moments: Erling Haaland blasting a shot straight into someone's face, Chelsea's awkward pre-game huddle, the latest United States Men's National Team World Cup kit reveal, and the big question facing Orlando City SC—who should be their next head coach? (7:00) – LAFC already separating themselves from the rest of the league? (13:30) – Inter Miami too dependent on Messi? (23:45) – Arne Slot to blame for Liverpool's late game woes? (31:30) – Pep Guardiola's time at Man City coming to an end? (36:30) – Arsenal closing in on PL title (45:30) - Chelsea fined for financial breach: but is it enough? The United States Men's Hockey team won gold for only the third time in Winter Olympics history Sunday. The 2-1 OT win caps an incredible Olympics for the US men's and women's teams. The Auburn Tigers found themselves on Joe Lunardi's NCAA Tournament cut line Saturday morning, that was one of the stories leading into their game with the Kentucky Wildcats, making it feel even more impactful. Auburn Basketball fought from behind in the second half to secure a 75-74 win and break a five game losing skid. The game was not without controversy on both sides as Kentucky Basketball was the beneficiary of two questionable fouls at the end of the first half while Auburn benefited from a call at the end of the game. It was the final call that had Mark Pope steaming after his news conference. The Alabama Crimson Tide got a 90-83 road win at LSU Saturday. Alabama Basketball had five players in double figures en route to the win. This came on the heels of Alabama being left out of the NCAA selection committee's top 16 teams. Committee co-chair Martin Newton indicated Alabama and Arkansas are just on the outside looking in. The NCAA Selection Committee released their Top 16 seeds just before Saturday's games. Only Florida and Vanderbilt were an-momma the 16, yet KenPom has the SEC still rated as the best conference in the nation. Which is more accurate?
